Sea Serpent's Blessing

Leaving the dwarf, Noah made his way back to the inn. It was still early in the morning so the Rose Foxes hadn't set out yet.

After he defeated the Ancient Water Serpent he had passed out, when he had returned 24 hours had passed in the Eternal Battlefield, which was why it was still early morning.

In his room at the Inn, Alice was still sleeping, he saw that she would wake up soon, and made something to eat to pass the time.

Alice who had woken up smelled something delicious and got up, she then ran out and saw Noah. She then jumped and gave him a hug. She had seen him just a moment ago on earth before she slept but in the Eternal Battlefield, she hadn't seen him for the last six days, so it was a nice surprise.

"Why are you here today?" She asked as she hung on his back.

"I took a break from my exploration of the Protected Zone to see how you were doing," Noah answered, he turned his head and gave Alice's cheek a kiss.

"You don't have to, I've already been telling you everything through the communication crystal," Noah hadn't spoken in detail about what he had been doing, only talking about looking around the world for ways to grow stronger.

'It seems like it isn't going well,' Alice thought. Noah's aura was the same since the time he had left, maybe even a little weaker.

It made sense to her. After he helped Moonlight in the Darkness Abomination dungeon, he wasn't able to enter other A Class dungeons since Bloodhood and Fallen Heroes were only letting their own guild members in. This was why he wasn't able to grow stronger, finding A Class monsters in the wild was difficult, which was what Noah was probably doing now.

As for why she didn't think he was Void who solo cleared the Goblin Castle or the mysterious group/person to kill the S Class monster- it was his aura, it hadn't changed at all after both those events, even when he changed to normal clothes. She never expected the pretty black earrings Noah always wore actually had a skill like Facade on them.

The two ate then changed equipment and made their way to the Guild Residence. Noah was impressed seeing it completely renovated with the Rose Foxes logo on a banner upfront, it may not be as flashy and grand as Moonlight, but it looked quite good.

"Alice you're here! Ah! Noah as well." Tasha greeted the two.

Noah gave Alice a hug and goodbye kiss, "I'll leave now." He then said goodbye to Tasha as well then left.

Whoosh! Crash! (Sounds of waves hitting the shore)

Noah stood on the sandy beach looking at the blue ocean expanding out to the horizon. On his right was the Ancient Water Serpent cave, he had decided to use this point as the start of his journey.

His status page had changed a lot now, it now showed his guild and class. He couldn't join a class so it still said none. His attributes had changed, he had gotten new equipment such as the ring and boots, but his actual attributes had increased as well. He wasn't sure why but he assumed it had something to do with the changes in skills he had.

He finally looked at his traits, especially the new one.

Effect 1: You may easily move through water without facing any resistance.

Effect 2: You can now breathe underwater

Effect 3: You have a resistance to water elemental energy.

Effect 4: You have gained an affinity to the water element.

This trait was something he didn't expect to get, it was why he scratched his plan to continue looking for S Class monsters to explore the ocean.

His feet splashed as he walked into the water, it rose up on his body but he didn't feel uncomfortable. It felt no different than walking on land.

Completely submerged, Noah continued to walk. Other than being a little darker, he didn't feel a difference. He still felt the cool water encasing his body but it was similar to the feeling of air. He saw that he was deep enough, so he pushed himself up. His body floated up.

"Is this how it would feel to freely fly?" Noah said as he swam around. The freedom he had now was different to using the Levitation Staff to carry him around. His feet pressed down as they covered in Qi. Flash Step!

He appeared 10 meters away happy. "I can even use Flash Step freely in 3 dimensions now!" He no longer needed to find a place to step on when he was above the ground to use it.

Ice Skating! His shoes formed ice blades that started freezing the water near it, the blades however didn't get stuck. He sped forward and opened the Explorer Map.

The Explorer Map changed to show the ocean side of the planet. The Protected Zone was half land and half water. It just showed a flat blue with multiple marked points. These were all dungeons that he had marked in the Floating Holy Library, it was just that since he wasn't keen on riding a boat or ship around and fighting underwater so he had ignored them.

The new trait changed that. He chose the closest C Class dungeon and entered.

In the underwater cave, Noah swam through ignoring the monsters around. C Class monsters weren't his time to kill. It took a few attacks to kill them, so he just went straight to the Dungeon Lord.

The giant red crab with a spiked thick red carapace hammered at him with its pincer. Noah Flash Stepped above and raised his sword covered in Yin Yang Reinforcement. Then slashed down.

The sword passed straight through it, cutting its entire body in half.

The crab disappeared as items replaced it. He picked them up and put them away. He then travelled back out. The difficulty of the dungeon was a little higher than it was on land, to him who had surpassed that level a long time ago it was easy.

He found the location of the B Class dungeons, there were 20 of them in total underwater. They were sparsely spread, with no Teleportation Halls, he would need to travel to each by foot. He started moving towards the closest one.
