Obtaining Shimmering Low-Tier Magical Grade Ores. Hmm... Not Too Shabby

Eidiri then took a brief stumble, his legs wobbling slightly.

Swinging his arms trying to regain his balance, he ended up in a heap at the foot of one of the mine carts.

Mustering his energy, he pulled himself upwards with much effort, the neurotoxin slowly circulating throughout his system.

From what Eidiri estimated, the neurotoxin would completely impair his motor functions within 15 minutes.

Up until the moment where he could no longer move, each step would be excruciatingly painful and would require a massive amount of effort.

Upon this realization, Eidiri inwardly cursed to himself, admonishing himself for his carelessness in how he could've approached the situation better.

As he was berating himself, he wasn't wasting any time, slowly piling the Shimmering Low Tier Magical Ore out from the cart, heaping it into his inventory.

After he finished moving the goods, he stopped and looked at the other carts before inwardly shaking his head, he wouldn't have enough time to get those as well. He would barely have enough time to get this shipment alone.

His nerves on fire, Eidiri grit his teeth, crawling towards the ramp as slowly as possible, he inched his way up the slope, aiming to get out of this accursed dungeon.

If he were to come here again he would surely have to prepare anti-venom; hey that would be a neat detail to include in the guide.

Anyways, he painstakingly crawled his way up the ramp, taking brief pauses at times when the pain had become too much for him to handle.

There were dirt smudges going across his face, his limbs burning in protest, not exactly complying with Eidiri's commands, a classic case of mind vs body.

7 minutes passed, Eidiri still hadn't gotten past the halfway mark of the slope, if he continued at this speed, he surely would be unable to complete the journey.

Not to mention, this little fact wasn't including how as time passed, the neurotoxin would ramp up in efficiency, spreading throughout all of his limbs, already his legs had gone.

The lack of feeling in his legs was quite unnerving honestly, but nevertheless Eidiri pressed on, his teeth still gritted and his brow dripping in sweat.

He had already obviously overexerted himself, but he still forced himself to make the climb, if he didn't succeed in escaping these caverns he would most likely perish here.

His left hand reached upwards, dragging his body through the rough gravel, then the right hand moved.

His arms buckled under the weight, as his movements became more sluggish as time passed.

Eidiri simply ignored this pain, knowing that it wasn't real, choosing to push through it rather than let it bring him down.

There were only 3 minutes left until he lost all motor capabilities, if he powered through he now, he would be able to barely reach that the little rocky outcrop camp he had established last night.

This little piece of knowledge provided the motivation necessary for Eidiri to push on, knowing that there was a definite chance of success.

This motivation drove his actions forward, fueling his drive to push on.

His fingers clenched the gravel, grasping at any sort of handhold he could use to propel him upwards.

Bits of gravel, dirt, and rock fell down the slope as he kept climbing, his fingers had cuts interlaced through them by now, but such pain was insignificant to the end goal.

Those last 3 minutes passed quickly, and Eidiri had managed to roll himself back over the edge, regaling in the safety that was his camp.

Hopefully, no monsters would take advantage of his paralyzed state now, he wasn't out of the woods yet.

Well actually, he was out of the woods, it's just that he's in a forest.

He lay under that rocky outcrop motionlessly, his body rigid as a board, the only movement coming from him being anxious flicking of his eyes that constantly scanned the environment around him.

These moments where he lied down motionlessly were perhaps the most agonizing, the mere anticipation of knowing that there were dangers that he wouldn't be able to react to doing wonders to his mind.

When he had finally recovered the movement in his limbs, he shakily moved them about, trying to regain the feeling in them.

However, the numbness disappearing was also a double-sided edge, causing him to feel the pain that he was previously able to ignore.

Staggering, his legs still shaky, he sat up, trying to avoid aggravating his wounds.

Then slowly and tenderly, he retrieved another piece of the accursed meat that Ken had prepared for him, the food long since cold.

Tearing into the food was almost like biting into a towel, the flavor had disappeared and the texture being replaced with one akin to that of coarse wood.

Eidiri ignored such details though, still in the mentality of survival. He simply ate the meal without many complaints, knowing that the food carried minor regenerative effects.

With a night of rest, he would be able to fully recover from the injuries that he had suffered.

Seeing how he really didn't have anything else to do, he decided to go onto the forums and write his latest blog post, just to keep building that traction up.

This time, he decided to detail on the first actual quest that the players had received, the standard typical retrieval mission, nevertheless, it was still a quest.

One that offered a hefty reward as well.

He also wrote briefly on the first dungeon in the game, the Caverns of Laroshia, the behaviors of the spiderlings, and what kind of mob they were.

Eidiri paid special attention to avoid mentioning the location of the Caverns of Laroshia in specific as that would simply give away the advantage he possessed.

Not to mention that he was currently in discussions of cooperation/employment with Protinus, if he simply gave this trump card for free, he would spit blood later.

He then also wrote about the method of inheritance, detailing how skills/knowledge/experiences could be passed down.

As such, the players wouldn't have to solely rely on luck to find skill books in the wild as he had, they could now attempt at establishing connections with NPCs to inherit their skills as well.

This piece of information alone would cause waves, now organizations wouldn't scramble through the wilderness as much, prioritizing NPCs for now seeing as they could gain more from it.

This combined with information on the first dungeon, sent a shock through the player base, that little calling card at the bottom of the post beckoning to them.
