Raking in the Money, or Resources, or Whatever

The girl took a quick glance over the pamphlet that Eidiri handed over.

Slowly but surely an expression of astonishment swept her face, "How? You sure this isn't a scam?" she asked, "No one has weapons of this level right now and you're telling me that you're willing to sell them?" she asked incredulously.

"Precisely. Surely you've heard of the recent weapon auction," Eidiri said, "Well you see, I'm the one who made those weapons."

"Really now?" the girl asked with interest.

"Well then, I'll like to take a look at this Vibrant Knife you have here," she said as she pointed to a description on the pamphlet.

after taking a quick look at what the girl wanted, Eidiri said, "One moment," before rooting around in the bag and pulling out one of the Vibrant Knives he had made.

"This is a pretty good knife for beginners, the stats are pretty decent. The aesthetics are also really nice with that glossy sheen on the blade."

"I would recommend this Vibrant Knife to you. Here take a look at it," Eidiri said handing the weapon over.

She received the knife, twisting and turning it over to take a good look at it.

The blade was glossy, a light vile sheen shining across the blade.

She took a couple of test swings, slashing away at the air.

After a couple more swings she said, "I'll take it. How much?"

Eidiri simply pointed at the sign below that stated the pricing of the items, "You can either pay in cash of resources. Whatever you prefer," he blandly said.

"I'll pay in resources," she said. "Just gimme a sec."

Turning around to one of her companions, she called out, "Hey, Logan! Fetch me some of that Nonmagical Low Tier Magical Ore we harvested yesterday!"

Logan nodded, "Right away."

Logan left the square, probably intent on heading back to wherever they had established their camp.

"He'll be back in a couple of minutes. In the meanwhile, what's your name?" she asked before introducing herself, "I'm Sarah."

"Just call me by my IGN," Eidiri replied pointing upwards, "Eidiri."

"Wait, your name sounds familiar... but where did I hear that?" Sarah asked herself. "Do I know you from somewhere?"

"I've got a blog if that's any help," Eidiri says. "Beyond that, I really don't think we've met before."

"Hmm... probably nothing then..." Sarah says, waving that thought away.

The sound of heavy running alerts them, Logan's running towards them, slightly panting due to the exertion.

"Here! I got the ore you wanted!" called Logan. "What's it for though?" he asked.

"We're just exchanging for a weapon here," Rachel said, "Always hand it over."

Logan obediently handed the ore over, allowing for Rachel to make the exchange.

The trade of goods was made and Eidiri made a profit of about 2 ore while Rachel procured herself a weapon.

Rachel and Logan then proceeded to empty the rest of their stock of ores, wanting to purchase as many weapons as possible from Eidiri.

As Logan went to fetch even more ores from their camp, other customers began to get attracted to the little, unassuming stand.

Eidiri became busier and busier, handing out pamphlets until he finally got fed up with all this hustle and bustle before just tacking one of the pamphlets to the stall, letting people look at it for themselves rather than handing them out.

People rapidly snatched up all of these weapons, and soon enough, Eidiri's bag was quickly emptied of the weapons, and now full of ores.

A rare few of the customers opted to pay in cash, spending a pretty penny for their weapons, most likely because they didn't obtain any material harvesting skills yet.

The price wasn't too much anyways, most people would actually be able to afford them, the expensive weapons were sold at the auction.

Anyways, the stock was quickly swept up, and Eidiri once again enlisted Edgar's and Ken's help with the stand, asking them to help him close up.

While they closed up they were asked many questions, some of them being...

"When will you be able to sell higher-tier weapons?"

"Do you guys have polearms for sale? I think polearms are sick, you wanna hear about polearms?"

"Do you guys take custom orders?"

"When will you guys be opening up shop?"

They replied to the vast majority of these questions, some of them completely not being worth the time.

"In time, we should be able to provide higher-tier weapons. Exactly when is uncertain though," Eidiri replied.

"As of right now we are not currently taking custom orders. If you happen to need a weapon then you can take a look at the pamphlet," Edgar said, answering one of the bystanders.

"We will be opening shop every 2 days here at the same location. Take note of the time because we shall be producing a limited stock," Ken said, answering yet another one of the questions.

They continued answering the questions until they finished packing up the stall, then they simply turned around and left.

The crowd still had many questions left to ask but they were blocked by the village guard.

With this business done, all they had left to do was to calculate the earnings they had made that day.

They made a pretty buck, raking in a humble $1000. Not too bad for their first day of operations. Especially with how everything was done split-second.

But what they had truly raked in was the number of resources. They had accumulated approximately 67 Nonspiritual Mundane Ores, 23 Simmering Mundane Ores, 16 Mundane Low Tier Magical Ores, and 2 Shimmering Low Tier Magical Ores.

Given how only 1 of the ore was needed to craft each of the weapons sold today, it was a pretty sizable profit.

These materials that they had raked in today would be more than enough to fuel Eidiri's forging experiences for the rest of the month at least.

But now that the business had ended, Eidiri had made an observation.

The weapons were simply sold too quickly, as such he decided to make weapons in bulk, but only made a small portion available for sale.

This was to ensure that weapons would be constantly being sold, and at the same time, Eidiri wouldn't have to devote all of his time to making weapons, allowing him to make progress as well in terms of power/skill.
