Consequences

-Patch-

A few weeks had gone by since Port came by to visit. Since then Yang felt something in her change since she had talked it out with her father, her teachers, even her cousin. She felt what they told her play on repeat as she had come to realize what she had been doing for all these past months since Beacon.

All she had really been doing was feeling sorry for herself, and if she had to be honest… She hated it. And for the first time in a long time, she was gonna do something about it, once after she put on her new arm.

Mazie sat on the sidelines with Zwei settled in her lap as they watched Taiyang and Yang engage in hand to hand combat. Both Yang and Taiyang threw one punch after another; one after another they blocked each other's attacks. The pattern continued on and on, leaving Maize impressed by how well they were both able to hold out for so long.

Finally with her new appendage, Yang punched Taiyang so hard that he skidded across the dirt ground, leaving Maize to look in awe as she whistled.

"Bravo Yang!" Maize said as she clapped, "Bravo!"

"Whew!" Taiyang said as he recovered, "That thing packs a punch!"

"What were you expecting Uncle?" Maize asked with amusement, "A punch from pillows?"

Yang and Taiyang couldn't help but laugh. "Come on dad." Yang soon said, "We've been at this for a few weeks now. I get what your trying to do. You want to make sure I can still fight."

"It looks like she still can to me." Her cousin said, "So why put in the extra effort?"

"You're--Close." Taiyang told his daughter. He soon stood upright and circled Yang as he assessed her progress. "I'm close?" She said, "Really?"

"You're… Still out of balance." Taiyang had informed her.

"What!?" She said surprised, "No I'm not!"

He only chuckled at this, earning a look from his daughter. After removing Zwei from her lap, Maize soon went over to her side as she had been curious about something.

"So cus, pray tell." She said, "How does it feel having an arm made from Atlas?"

"Honestly…" Yang started to say, as she started to move her fingers, "... I'm surprised. I thought it would be this huge weight but… It feels natural. Atlas really did a good job on this thing."

"I can tell." Maize said, "As always your a natural."

Yang and Maize were soon taken back when Taiyang got the jump on his daughter. Yang quickly blocked his attacks as she soon caught a hold of his elbow that had nearly hit her right in the cheek as Maize backed up a bit. "I wasn't talking about your actual balance." He told her.

With a sweep of his leg, Yang was knocked off her feet as she hit the ground with a grunt.

"Although--" Taiyang said as he walked over to Zwei, taking a towel from him before giving him a pat on the head as a sign of gratitude, before he wiped himself up with it, "--That could use some work too."

"Well that was unexpected." Maize said as she helped her to sit up.

"I saw your tournament fights during the Vytal Festival." Taiyang said.

Yang rolled her eyes as she rubbed the back of her neck, "Wait… Don't tell me! I was sloppy?"

"No, no." Taiyang replied, "You were… Predictable, stubborn and maybe a LITTLE boneheaded."

Yang couldn't help but give a look as Maize looked at her uncle with curious eyes. "... Do you realize that you use your Semblance to win every fight even after the qualifiers?" Taiyang soon asked.

"Yeah, so what?" Yang said, "How is ME using my Semblance any different from someone else using theirs?"

"Because not everyone has a temper tantrum." Taiyang stated, as he threw his towel over his shoulder, "Once you take damage you can dish it back twice as hard, but that doesn't make you invincible. I mean--It's great when your in a tough bind, but what happens if you miss? What happens if they're stronger? What then? Now you're just weak and tired!" He soon sighed as he kneeled by Yang and Maize's side, "You've always been able to burn brighter than anyone else, whether it was your smile, or--Well, I remember your first haircut."

Maize soon snickered at the look on Yang's face, "That was pretty funny."

"Shut up." She said with a playful nudge making her laugh.

"But you gotta keep your emotions in check." Taiyang soon said, "Keep a level head, and think before you act. Your Semblance can help you in battles but it can also be your fallback. You can't rely on yourself all the time. It won't always save you… Obviously."

Taiyang's expression saddened at a certain thought as did Yang and Maize's expression. They both knew who he had been referring to. "I'll tell you one thing Yang…" Taiyang soon said, "... You have your mother's stubbornness."

"You mean Auntie Raven?" Maize asked.

"Oh, so now we can talk about her?" Yang asked, sounding a bit harsh.

"Well--" Taiyang said, "--As I've been told, you're an adult… Remember?"

Yang turned away from Taiyang, as Maize's look softened by how she acted. "...Sorry I remind you of her."

"Don't be." He said, "Raven was great in so many ways. Her strength, her ambition, her dedication to whatever cause she believed in. I'm PROUD that I see her in you… But I'm glad that I don't see ALL of her in you."

Yang and Maize both looked shocked at this sort of thing.

"Uncle?" Maize said, "I'm afraid I don't understand. Why would you say something like that?"

Taiyang sighed before he started to explain himself, "Yang's mom, your aunt Raven… Was a complicated woman. Like everybody she had her faults, but her faults are what tore our team apart. And… They did a number on our family."

He soon directed his attention towards Yang, "You both act as if there's an easiest way to tackle an obstacle through it. But… If you take a second look--" Taiyang soon walked over towards her and her cousin as he walked around Zwei, "--Then maybe you can see there's a way around it as well."

Yang looked to her father before she looked towards Maize as she had recalled her words from earlier. She couldn't help but think of their words, though it wasn't long before Taiyang reached out to her. "Come on--" He said, "--One more round before dinner." Yang took his hand as he helped her to stand up. She was about to get ready when Taiyang soon surprised her.

"Let's make it more interesting--" He said before he turned to Maize, "--Why don't you take on Yang this time?"

Maize couldn't help but double take at this, "Me? You really want me to fight?"

"Why?" Yang asked.

Taiyang had soon replied, "... I know you miss your sister. And I know you want to go and find her. I want you to show me what you remember from your training, and see what I have to work with."

"Really?" Maize asked, "You know I'm not as good as a brawler like Melody is."

"I know." He said, before he gave her and Yang some space, "Which is why we're going to change that."

Maize soon took a deep breath as she soon cracked her shoulders and neck before stretching; Yang had done the same. After a moment, they both had gotten into a fighting stance. "Alright, you guys ready?" Taiyang said. The two teens nodded as they readied themselves.

"3--2--1--" Taiyang started to say, before he waved his hand, "GO!"

Yang and Maize both charged at one another; both had thrown a punch though it had been successfully blocked. Maize went to attack first as she kicked though Yang had been quick to dodge her attack and caught her by surprise as she went to counter.

Thanks to her Aura, she didn't get a bruise though she ended up losing her balance. She went at Yang, again and again, though each time she did, she ended up blocking or countering her; Taiyang couldn't help but clap for Yang as he smiled.

"That's it Little Dragon!" Taiyang cheered, "Good job! That's using your head!"

They repeated the same pattern as they continued to attack. It hadn't been long before Maize had gotten the upper hand as she had gotten her pinned, as she had been able to restrain her with her hands behind her back.

"Ha! Got ya!" Maize said triumphantly, "Victory for Maize!"

Though what she failed to notice was that Yang had been smiling deviously. She caught Maize off guard when she was able to sweep her off her feet as she had let out a scream. Before she could hit the ground, Yang had gotten a hold of her wrist.

"Victory for Yang!" Yang said to her with a wink and a smile, before she allowed her to drop to the ground.

"Ow…" Maize said with a groan, "... You still got it."

Taiyang let out a chuckle before he said, "You both did good today. You can still use work though Maize."

Maize sat herself up as she said, "Yeah… When it comes to hand to hand I take after dad."

"Well, we'll worry about it tomorrow." He said to her, "What do you say when we get dinner started?"

-Menagerie; Late at Night-

Some time had already passed since Blake and Shae had returned home, and both were equally nervous just at the thought of talking to their own father. They had turned their back on their family and regretted everything. It was even worse on Shae's end since she had been one of the few members set to attack Beacon and Vale; even going so far as to release the Grimm out onto the streets.

There was no sense of justice in that.

Mostly when the topic came up, they had avoided it since they both hated what they had become in that moment.

Both sisters stood outside of their father's office as Blake had been looking over the horizon, while Shae had sat on the railing playing with several strings of yarn that had been tied to her fingers. Every now and again she picked up her head and looked to the door; her expression had been filled with anxiety.

She soon sighed, "Okay… I've said it before and I'll say it again… I don't know if we can do this Blake."

"... Yeah." Blake said with a sigh of her own, "... I don't know if I can either."

"Maybe we can try again tomorrow?" Shae soon suggested.

"That--" Blake started to say, "--Isn't a bad idea."

Before either of them could take their leave, they were startled by a familiar voice.

"You know… It won't hurt you if you both go and say hi."

They saw it had been their mother Kali holding a tray of tea, and their eldest sister Angel had been behind as she had been holding a tray of neatly cut sandwiches. "She's right, you know." Angel said, "It's not like it's gonna kill you two or anything."

"We don't know if we should." Shae admitted, "Especially since--You know."

"We just--" Blake started to say, "--Don't want to bother him, that's all."

"Don't be ridiculous." Kali said, "A father is never too busy for his children."

"Exactly!" Angel said, "You guys know you can tell dad anything!"

Blake sighed at this, "Not all my friends would agree with you on that."

Shae had groaned a little, "I don't know if we should. Like what would he say if--"

Kali couldn't help but chuckle slightly at this as she shook her head a little. Both sisters were a bit taken back when her and Angel pushed the trays into their arms as they couldn't help but freeze up.

"What are you doing!?" Shae exclaimed, realizing that her strings had been gone from her fingers, courtesy of Angel.

"Doing you two a favor!" Angel told her with a smile.

Kali and Angel turned to leave which surprised the sisters even more. "Mom?!" Blake exclaimed, "Angel?! Where are you two going!?"

"You nor Shae have never been very talkative." Kali reasoned, "But that boy you bought home LOVES to run his mouth. I wanna hear more adventures of team RWBY."

"And a little more about the two sisters you looked after Blake." Angel added with a smile.

With that, they took their leave as the sisters were alone once again. They both jumped when they heard their father's voice come from the inside.

"Kali? Is that you?"

Both of their bodies shook as they were equally nervous and scared. The plates in Blakes hands rattled as did Shae's as she couldn't help but gulp. Immediately, Shae had gotten behind Blake as she nudged her with her knee.

"You're it!" She said as she did this.

"H--Hey!" Blake exclaimed, "Why do I have to go in first!?"

"You're the oldest! It's the only reason why!"

"That's not an excuse!"

"It is to me!"

Blake attempted to say something or at least retort but she couldn't think of a good one. She soon let out a sigh, "Fine. But if you end up bailing, I'll end you."

"Duly noted." Shae said.

With that said, they both entered their father's office, with Blake being the first one to enter the office. Ghira noticed the two of them, as he had been at his desk filling out paperwork.

"He--Hey dad." Blake said.

"Hi papa." Shae said as she peeked out from behind her sister.

"Blake, Shae!" Ghira said, "This is a pleasant surprise! Come in, have a seat."

The three of them went towards the couch that had been available in the room as each of them took a seat. Shae set the tray of food she had been carrying on the coffee table while Blake had done the same with the tea tray.

"Don't worry, I got it." Ghira said as he gently took the tray from Blake, "Please, sit down."

"It's uh--" Shae started to say awkwardly, "--Nice to see you this evening. We didn't interrupt you or anything like that did we?"

"Oh no, don't worry about it." Ghira reassured her as he poured the tea into three cups, "Besides, I've been cooped up all day."

He placed sugar in one of the cups before he handed them off to Shae and Blake. "You still take sugar right Blake?"

"Actually I--" Blake started to say.

"Oh! Sorry!" Ghira said nervously as he pulled back the cup.

"No, no, no, it's fine dad!"

"Here, take this one."

"It's okay, it's no big deal."

"You sure?"

"Positive."

"Old habits, I suppose."

Blake and Shae took their cups as they each sipped from their own cup. Shae immediately gagged on her drink when she burned her tongue while Blake winced slightly. "Might want to let it cool first." Ghira said awkwardly.

"Right." Blake said.

"Noted." Shae said as she sounded a bit hoarse.

They both set their cups on the table as an awkward silence came over them. Neither of them didn't know what they should say to each other right now. Finally, Ghira had spoken up, "So um Shae? Have you been catching up on your studies?"

"Hu-Huh?" Shae said as she had been a bit startled.

"Well, it's just--" He said, "--I think you spend more of your time reading then Blake ever did. You've always been working hard to help me out."

"O-Oh, right!" Shae said awkwardly, "Well--I wouldn't say I've been catching up as of late."

"Ah, I see." Ghira said before he took notice of Blake's outfit. He soon asked awkwardly, "Is it--Uh--Is it warm in Vale?"

"What?" Blake said a bit taken back before she realized he had been talking about her outfit.

"Well, I'm only asking since it doesn't seem like it covers much."

"It covers plenty!"

"I mean a little armor might help don't you think?"

"I can take care of myself! Shae and I both can!"

"I--" Ghira let out a sigh, "--I know you both can."

The three of them were silent again, but this time, the expressions on Blake and Shae's faces changed. "Why…?" Blake soon said, "... Why would you say that?"

"What's wrong?" Ghira asked, "What did I say?"

"You know what it is!" Shae said, "After everything we did, what we said to you, mom, even Angel! How can you say something like that?"

"How can you still love us?" Blake asked him, "After all that's happened, how can you still--"

Blake buried her face into her hands as she started to cry. Shae had immediately gone to comfort her as she gave her a hug; though she couldn't help but cry as well. Ghira soon sat beside the two of them as he put his arm around the both of them.

"Don't be ridiculous." Ghira said, "You know that your mother, sister and I will always love you."

"You were right!" Blake said tearfully, "Shae and I--We shouted at you! Yelled at you!"

"We called you cowards!" Shae said through her own tears, "Hell, I called you weak! I even said you were never my father! I told you I hated you!"

"Blake, Shae--" Ghira said, "It's alright. We never held anything against you, and I never feared you would fail. The only thing I feared was that you would fall down the wrong path, and I'm so proud to see that you both haven't."

"You're wrong." Shae said as she wiped away her tears, "I did fall down that path."

Ghira looked to her shocked, "What are you saying?"

"I… I…!" She started to say at one point she slammed her fists into the coffee table, "... I didn't see the path I had gone down until it was too late! I was blinded by my own hatred, to see what I had become!"

"Easy now." He said putting his hand over her own, "Just take deep breaths."

"I was there…!" She said as she took him by surprise, "... The whole time, even before Beacon fell, I was there! I helped them kidnap two innocent humans, and then when I invaded Vale and Beacon--I saw what happened! I witnessed the horrors in front of me! And what's worse, instead of helping them, I just stood there! Frozen like a statue! I couldn't do anything to--"

At that point, Shae started to break down as her face had been filled with tears. Over and over again, she kept on apologizing; it didn't matter how many times she said it, it seemed as though she would go on and on forever.

"I'm SO sorry dad!" Shae said as her eyes had been bloodshot red, "I didn't mean to disappoint you! I should've fought them to protect everyone! I didn't mean to--"

Ghira soon stopped her in mid-sentence as he had motioned her to stand in front of him, to which Shae had complied. Though he had caught her by surprise when he had pulled her in for a hug.

"You could never disappoint me, Shae." He said, "You're my child, and you always will be. What's done in the past, unfortunately we can't change, but what matters is what you can do now."

Shae couldn't speak nor could she make a comment. The only thing she did was return his gesture with her own hug as she couldn't help but cry into his shoulder.

"Dad…" Blake soon said, "I--I fell down that path too. I made so many terrible mistakes, I--"

"--But you managed to pull yourself out of it." Ghira told her as he didn't let go of Shae, "You came back. There aren't many who possess that strength and even fewer with the courage to face their demons again. Vale, Mountain Glenn, Beacon--You confronted the White Fang time after time again.

"I didn't do it alone." Blake said.

"No, you didn't." He said, "Which is why I wanted to ask you--Why did you leave Vale? Why did you leave your friends behind?"

"I--"

SLAM!

The three of them jumped suddenly when they heard a noise. They looked over and saw that the door had fallen over and Sun had been face planted on what was left of it. He let out a groan as he stood.

"Sun!?" Blake exclaimed out of shock.

"Monkey Boy!?" Shae yelled, breaking out of her father's embrace.

"D'YUH WHOA!" Sun exclaimed as he looked embarrassed, "This isn't the bathroom! I'll just be goi--YIPE!" He soon tripped on himself as he fell on his back with a groan. He laughed nervously as he sat up.

"I REALLY don't like you." Was all Ghira could say to him.

-Atlas; Schnee Mansion-

A few days had passed since Weiss had spoken with her father. She had spent most of her time in isolation since she couldn't go anywhere without being watched by the servants within the manor.

Though she used this opportunity to train and work on her summoning with her sister, Nava's help. Van and Nilla weren't too sure exactly what was going on since they noticed that Weiss had been spending more time in her room as usual.

Not wanting them to worry, she explained to the two of them what had happened after the charity event. Neither of them seemed to be too happy with what they heard from her.

"I can't believe this!" Nilla said angrily, "I just can't believe this! After everything you've done for our family!"

"No wonder brother has been acting strangely supportive since you returned home!" Van said, "It's unbelievable!"

"I'm sorry I didn't catch it sooner." Nava said to them, "If I did… I could've talked him out of it."

"Don't be sorry Nava, you couldn't have known." Van said.

"Yeah--You know how unpredictable a brother can be." Nilla added.

"Let me ask you something--" Weiss said to the twins as they tilted their heads curiously, "--Do you like staying here in Atlas?"

"No." They replied almost immediately.

"The only reason we stayed here is because of you, Nava and Klein." Van added.

"Yeah." Nilla said, "We would've run away ourselves after you went to Beacon but… Than Nava would be all alone, and we wouldn't get to see you."

Weiss couldn't help but smile, "... That's what I was hoping you would say. Nava and I knew we could count you."

"You can always rely on us Weiss!" Nilla said, "We'll be here for you no matter what!"

"So--" Van soon said awkwardly, "--What else did you want to see us for?"

"Well--" Weiss started to say, "--I'm sure you both have been wondering what I've been doing in my room exactly." The twins nodded their heads. "The truth is--" She started to say, "--I've been training. I was working on my summoning, and I think I've finally done it. I'd like to show you and Nava."

The twins' expressions brightened as they couldn't help but bounce in their seats.

"Really?" Van said.

"Can we really watch?!" Nilla said with the same enthusiasm.

"We all have a front row seat to see our sisters' progression." Nava said.

"Just stand over there--" Weiss instructed, pointing to an open space, "--We're gonna need to make room."

The twins nodded as they stood and pushed their chairs away; they and Nava went to where Weiss had told them to stand. Weiss picked up her myrtenaster and got herself in her stance. She thrusted her weapon into the floor as a familiar summoning circle appeared. The sword changed to a shade of blue before they saw the knight's sword come out from the ground which put them in all.

Soon enough--

"Hello sisters."

Weiss cringed at the sound of a familiar voice, as did Nava, Van and Nilla. The summoning circle Weiss had disappeared. They turned to the door as they saw Whitely had been leaning against the doorframe, as he had a smirk on his face.

"Whitely." Van and Nilla said as they had a look of anger on their faces.

"He-Hello brother." Nava said nervously.

"Leave." Weiss told him harshly.

"How hurtful." Whitley said, "And here I am about to offer you a favor. Father's taking me to town to introduce me to some of his business partners. I'd thought I'd see if you want me to pick up something. Since you're--Stuck here."

He turned to his three sisters, "You're welcome to join us, if you have nothing better to do."

Van and Nilla shook their heads immediately as they went to Weiss's side. "We want to stay here." Van said.

"Unlike you, we're actually loyal to our sister!" Nilla added.

Whitely didn't look surprised by this answer though he turned over to Nava. "How about you?" He said, "Do you want to come with me?"

Nava looked a bit hesitant, though she gulped before she replied, "... No. I want to stay with Weiss."

This time, Whitely looked shocked by this answer as Nava stepped over to Weiss's side. Though he seemed to have retained his composure as he fixed up his tie a little. "Very well." Whitley said, "If that's your decision."

"Tell me something Whitley--" Weiss soon said, "--Are you jealous?"

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Is that why you hate me?" She clarified, "Are you jealous of my abilities? Of Winters?"

Whitley pushed himself from the doorframe as he gave it some thought. "No." He soon answered, "Not really. Honestly, I find it barbaric. It's beneath people like me. Like my father. What can a single Huntsman possibly do that an army cannot? That's why we have one, even if it's runned by a fool."

"Brother--!" Nava soon said as her look changed, "--Forgive me for saying this to you of all people but--I think you and father are the one that's the fool! Huntsmen like Weiss are strong and independent. To have the strength of an army is but a coward's way for them."

"She's right!" Nilla added, "They're incredible people! And they're really strong! They don't let fear stop them!"

"And if Weiss wants to become a Huntress, what's to stop her from trying?" Van said.

Weiss couldn't help but smile, "Thank you three." She said, giving each of them pats on the head, "I'm really proud of you." She soon looked over to Whitley before she had told him sternly, "Now--I won't ask again. LEAVE."

Whitely let out a sigh as he turned around to walk, "Fine, fine, I've got better things to do." He soon turned back as he had a curious look, "What IS your plan anyway? What do you hope to accomplish while trapped here in your own bedroom?"

A black circle glyph soon appeared on the door causing it to slam shut right in Whitley's face, making the sisters stifle a laugh; Weiss soon chuckled a little. "Alright, let's get back to it before we get interrupted." She said to them

Weiss took a deep breath before she started to concentrate again. This time they could feel the whole ground had started to shake as they nearly stumbled. The books had fallen from the shelves as the windows had shattered with a burst, forcing them to take cover and shut their eyes. Immediately afterwards, Klein came into the room, as he nearly broke down the door.

"Miss Schnee!" He said with worry, "Are you alright?!"

His eyes soon widened in shock and surprise as he saw what had been before them. Before their very eyes there had been a suit of armor that had been in the same painting that stood tall. It soon bowed to Weiss, as any knight would.

"Yes." Weiss replied after awhile.

"Weiss--!" Van said, going over to the knight, "--This is amazing!"

"This is so cool!" Nilla added as she took the Knights hand. The knight turned to Nilla and his palm out to her, allowing her to climb onto it; she couldn't help but laugh as she kicked her legs as he lifted her up.

"You did it Weiss!" Nava said with a smile, "You really did it!"

Weiss had smiled at her sisters, before she looked at her bracelet that was faintly covered in grey. Faintly in the back of her head, she saw a familiar pair of sisters, one older and one just the twin's age.

"This might be your finest work Ice Queen!" She heard the eldest say, "It'll definitely be handy in a fight."

"This knight is incredible!" The youngest had told her with a smile, "He looks like he's from a fairytale! Wait until the others see this!"

She soon turned to the window as she could feel the breeze; mentally she came to a decision, "Klein… I need a favor."

***

Sun kept feeling a sudden burning sensation due to the slaps he had been getting from Blake after his sudden interruption between Ghira and Shae. As he should've guessed, neither one of them were happy about it.

"NO CONCEPT OF PRIVACY!" Blake yelled, giving Sun another slap across the cheek, "NO RESPECT OF PERSONAL SPACE!"

"I'm sorry, okay?!" Sun said, rubbing both of his cheeks, "Ow! That really hurts!"

"What in the world were you thinking?!" Shae said, "I don't know if you noticed but we were having an important conversation with our father!"

After Sun rubbed off the pain he finally spoke up, "Look, I promise, it's important! I just needed to talk to you! To both of you!"

"Really?" Shae said.

"What could be SO important?" Blake asked him harshly.

"I was talking to your mom and Angel!" Sun explained, "And they both said something strange about the White Fang!"

"I'm going to stop you right there!" Blake said.

"But--!"

"My sister and I told you before! We're not here to fight the White Fang! We're here to rest! To figure things out! And to see our family!"

"Why would you even bring this up!?" Shae asked him.

"Just listen to me!" He said, "Angel and Kali told me White Fang members here DON'T wear masks! But I saw someone wearing one in the market yesterday!"

"Wait… What?" Shae said confused, "That doesn't make any--"

"It doesn't matter!" Blake told her, "We're not getting involved in this!"

"Blake just wait--!" Shae said before she turned to Sun, "--Do you remember what they looked like?"

"I'll do you one better!" Sun said before he took out his scroll, "I have a picture!"

"Sun!" Blake yelled, grabbing his scroll, "We're through with this! So I don't want to hear it!"

She soon tossed his scroll off the balcony which had shocked Sun and Shae. Before anyone could say anything they heard a gasp coming from within the tree, making the three of them alert. From within the trees they saw a dark humanoid figure hiding within the branches, wearing a mask like Sun had described. They could tell from where they stood that the person was a girl. She had on a sleeveless black stealth suit with shorts and a golden zipper. Along with the outfit she had on a set of black straps with golden buckles and gray horns on her mask; her shoulders had gray spots as well as a pair of high top boots.

She quickly jumped out from the trees revealing that she had a ponytail that was curved on the end.

"No--It can't be--!" Shae said shocked.

"A freaking ninja!?" Sun exclaimed.

"A spy!" Blake yelled.

With that, they both jumped from the balcony to follow the girl.

"Blake! Shae!" Sun yelled, "Wait!"

Kali soon came from around the corner seeing two of her children had just taken off. "What's going on?" Kali said, "Is everything alright?"

"The White Fang is evil!" Sun immediately replied, "I totally called it! And I'm bringing your daughters back!" Just like that, he jumped from the balcony and followed them.

They hurried along through the trees trying to catch up to the spy. Everytime Blake or Shae got close she would just evade them. Finally after jumping from one tree to the next they stopped for a moment. It hadn't been long before she heard a branch break nearby as she looked above.

"GOTCHA!" Sun yelled.

The Spy quickly leaped out of the way just as Sun jumped down to grab her. He screamed as he nearly fell off the tree, though thankfully he caught himself with his tail.

"You call that stealth!?" Shae said.

"Come on!" Blake yelled to both of them, "We can't lose her!"

She quickly followed the spy as Shae went to catch up behind her once she had helped Sun out. They followed her through the trees till they finally entered the town. The Spy ran along the rooftops as Blake, Shae and Sun chased after her with a quickening pace. Though she had been far ahead of them.

"Blake!" Shae yelled, "Boost me!"

Blake nodded as she ran right in front of Shae, while interlocking her fingers together. Shae soon stepped on her hands and threw her high in the air. Shae had armed her tomahawks and threw one at the spy's feet, making her stop in her tracks as Shae landed in front of her.

"Got nowhere to run now." Shae said, picking up her weapon and getting in her fighting stance.

The Spy soon turned to Blake after she finally stopped in her tracks.

"Why are you watching us!?" Blake said.

The Spy didn't reply, as all she did was smile. Arming herself with a very familiar looking saber before she used it to break a pipe that Blake had been standing in front of causing steam to spew out; Blake quickly shut her eyes as she wasn't able to jump back.

"SISTER!" Shae shouted, before she armed herself with her weapons.

She attacked the Spy head on as she evaded and blocked the attacks making sparks fly with every hit of the blade. Shae had tried to kick her but it only gave the Spy an opening as she was able to flip her over on her back. Just when the Spy went to attack with her sword in hand, a rock had been thrown at her. When she turned, she saw it had been none other then Sun that had gotten her attention.

"Give it up!" He said, "I'm not above hitting a girl you--"

Sun didn't get a chance to finish as the Spy used her whip to attack him; he was able to avoid it with ease as he purposely fell backwards. Blake, having recovered, jumped through the steam and used the distraction to her advantage. She ran up to the spy and kicked the scroll out of her hand as she was soon tackled by Sun and Shae; the impact on the ground caused her mask to crack, revealing half of her face and eye.

Shae's eyes widened in realization, as her ears twitched, "Just as I thought--You're--"

"BLAKE!" Sun yelled, interrupting Shae's thought, "GRAB THE SCROLL! SEEMS LIKE SOMEONE HERE THINKS IT'S IMPORTANT!"

"GET OFF OF ME!" The Spy yelled, as she kicked the two of them off so that she could stand.

She ran towards Blake in an attempt to make a grab for the scroll. Sun quickly used his semblance and four of his clones tackled and pinned her again. Shae seemed to have snapped out of it as she grabbed her weapon towards her as Blake seemed to have stopped in her tracks.

"Don't move!" Shae told her before she told her sister, "Hurray and grab the scroll!"

Blake only nodded before she took hold of the scroll. Sun, having exhausted his energy, fell to his knees to catch his breath. Shae was taken by surprise when the Spy knocked her weapon out of her hand and jumped behind her disarming her other weapon. She hooked an arm around Shae's neck causing her to gag as she pinned one hand behind her back while Shae instinctively took hold of her arm.

"SHAE!" Blake and Sun exclaimed, as they saw the Spy holding the blade dangerously close to her face.

Finally, the mask broke apart revealing the Spy's face as Blake's eyes couldn't help but widened in shock at who it had been.

"Illia." Blake said in realization as Sun looked shocked.

"You know her!?" Sun said, shocked, "But she doesn't look like a Fanus at all!"

"Illia!" Shae said as she gagged a little, "What are you doing?!"

"Quiet!" The Spy--Illia had told her, as her skin changed to red and her hair changed to yellow; she turned to Blake, "Give me the scroll! I won't hesitate to kill her!"

"Let her go, Illia!" Blake said, "No one has to die tonight!"

"You and Shae shouldn't have come back here." Illia said, "The scroll. Now!"

"Sister!" Shae said as she struggled to get free, "Don't do it! I'll be fine!"

Before Blake could make a decision, Sun charged Illia head on as he was able to tackle her. He kicked Illia in the stomach as he forced her to let go of Shae causing her to fall to her knees. Blake ran to her side as she made sure she was alright before she hugged her. Sun and Illia exchanged fists, before she kicked him back a few feet.

"ENOUGH!" Illia yelled before her saber turned yellow as it had sparked with electricity.

With a swipe, the very tip hit him right in the shoulder causing Sun's body to spark before he collapsed suddenly.

"SUN!" Blake and Shae shouted with worry.

"I won't ask again." Illia said, holding her blade towards Blake, "Give it to me."

Blake held the scroll close to her as she gave a glare, "No! I won't!"

Illia's gaze seemed to have softened before her whole body changed to green and her hair and eyes changed to blue. "You shouldn't have come back…" She repeated.

She swung her sword again creating a cloud of dust, which forced Blake and Shae to squeeze their eyes shut. When the cloud cleared, Illia was gone.

"Sun!" Blake exclaimed as she ran towards him, "Sun!"

"Oh Gods!" Shae shouted fearfully, "Oh Gods is he dead!? Say he isn't dead!"

Blake kneeled by his side as she placed her hands over his wound in an attempt to get the wound to stop bleeding. "No! No, no, no, no!" Blake begged, "Not again! Please not again!"

"He'll be okay right!?" Shae said, "He's gonna be okay right!?"

"Shae!" Blake told her sister tearfully, "Get help! Hurray!"

"What about you!?"

"Just go! Go and find help!"

Shae tried to say something but stopped herself as she gave a hesitant nod. She soon ran along the rooftops doing what her sister had told. Blake turned back to Sun when he let out a groan as she sniffled. She leaned in as her forehead pressed against his own.

"Hold on Sun… Just hold on…"
