The wind blew gently as it had caused Destiny to stir slightly as she opened her eyes with a groan. When she did, she found herself standing in a world that was filled with a black void. When she looked at her body, she saw from her skin that her clothes looked to be devoid of color. She looked to her feet as she couldn't see her own reflection or shadow.
"Where… Where am I?"
She soon jumped to the sound of a familiar tune being hummed. The same solemn tune she had heard in her previous dreams.
"It's that lady's song again…"
Destiny nearly jumped back when what looked to be that of doors emerged from the sea of darkness as they appeared to have surrounded her.
Though there was something strange about them, as all they were but an empty space and yet she knew there was something solid beyond it as she could feel something in what almost looked to be an empty space.
"Windows?"
She shook her head slightly as faintly as she could see strange designs on them.
"No--They're not windows. They're doors."
She was taken back when out of the corner of her eye she saw what looked to be an orange petal fly past her. She finally turned around and saw that only one door had glowed as she could see it clearly. A tree with beautiful orange flowers sat on top of the door as it had shed orange petals.
One landed in the palm of her hand as she watched as the light slowly disappeared.
"Destiny… Torchwick..."
She had been taken back when a voice she had never heard of called out as it appeared to have been coming from the door.
"Who's there?"
The voice called out again.
"...I'm waiting for you…"
She could feel the breeze as the door opened suddenly as she was taken back by a blinding light as she could feel a strange warmth coming from it. She had opened her eyes as strangely enough she found the sun beating down on her. It was then she saw a figure of a woman just standing in front of the door, as she possessed a familiar appearance that she found shocking.
"... Yang?"
The person seemed to have drawn a weapon before she attacked the young girl.

Destiny found herself sitting up suddenly as she found her chest had tightened slightly as her breathing had been labored. She found herself back in the room she had shared with Oscar as he had still been sound asleep after another long day's work. The shattered moon above had been at its highest point out at the window.
She couldn't help but think back to the dream, as she could hear the sound of the lady's lullaby faintly in her head.
A thought soon came to her as she thought back to the person who called to her.
Telling her to find her.
And not to mention… She saw Yang in her dream.
It must be a sign, is what she couldn't help but think.
She looked to her hands as they shook slightly; her Grimm eye glowed faintly.
"... I have to go."

-Somewhere in Anima; Kuroyuri-
Mere hours had passed since the teams had split up. Ruby along with Jaune, Scout and her cousin Melody pressed onward towards the deserted village of Kuroyuri. With them they had carried one of their injured, Qrow Branwen. Despite Ren's warnings they had decided against all odds to go through it as they couldn't risk taking him through the mountains. They had hoped once they reached the village they could find something to help Qrow, or at least find materials Scout needed to make an antidote.
They couldn't just let him die, not after they came all this way.
They arrived at the village only to find it had indeed been in ruins. Buildings were either in piles of debris or covered in ash as evidence from a fire no doubt. Flags were torn, and roads were practically ripped to shreds. They looked around the area as they had gotten an eerie feeling from the atmosphere itself, sending a shiver down their spines. Frosty let out a low growl as he had been on alert.
"Oh God…" Scout said horrified at the sight before them.
"Come on." Ruby said to them with a determined look.
The four of them walked through the village carrying Qrow with them as they each had a look around the area. The cold air had surrounded them, making them shiver at the breeze that blew.
"Do any of these places look like a pharmacy to anyone?" Ruby asked.
"Honestly--" Jaune said, "--It's hard to tell."
"They all--Look the same." Melody said.
"This is all awful…" Scout said, "... Did the Grimm do all of this?"
Ruby looked around again; a bike had been on its side as it was busted and covered in ash, as it couldn't help but make her shudder. "Ren--Really didn't want to come here… Did he?"
"It didn't seem so." Jaune replied.
"... I'm starting to see why." Scout said, "How can anyone stomach this?"
Ruby looked over to Jaune for a moment, "... Do… You know why?"
"... I think I have a pretty good idea." Jaune answered as he looked to the floor.
After awhile, they set Qrow against the only tree that had been left standing. Melody sat beside her father as she was still holding his hand while Frosty stayed on her own. Scout had brushed a cold rag against his forehead as an attempt to bring his fever down. Ruby and Jaune who had been exploring the town returned to them; both of them had a look of dejection on their faces.
"Any luck?" Melody asked.
"No." Ruby replied as she kneeled beside her, "We looked everywhere, They're aren't even herbs or painkillers around."
"... Oh." She said having a look of dejection as well.
"... It was worth the shot." Scout said as her ears went down as well.
They soon heard the sound of roars in the distance, which caused the group to become alert. Jaune had immediately reached for his sword ready to attack.
"... It's far off." Ruby said to him calmly.
Jaune sighed, "I know… But the others--They're still out there."
Ruby looked to Qrow and her friends; honestly she didn't know how much more she could take. She knew she had to be strong for the sake of her friends, for the sake of Destiny she had to. Though she was really reaching the tipping point of all of this. After everything they had gone through the day before after their first encounter with the enemy. After everything that had happened last night, what they heard Ruby didn't know how much more she could handle.
Melody could lose her only parent, Cristal could've lost her own father after she had been reunited with him. If he were to die out here, she didn't know how she could tell Destiny. Who knows what could happen if they continued forward.
"It's all my fault..."
Ruby stood up as she clenched her fist; Melody had a look of worry on her face.
"I'm sorry…" Ruby said, surprising everyone.
"Ruby?" Melody said.
"What are you saying?" Jaune asked with concern.
"This--" Ruby soon said, "--All of this is happening--Because of me. I never shouldn't have dragged any of you guys into this."
"No, no cuz!" Melody said as she stood, "Don't say that!"
"Yeah!" Scout added, "This isn't your fault!"
Jaune nodded, "You didn't drag any of us into this. We came out here because we made that choice."
Ruby looked over to Qrow for a moment, "But--You didn't know about Tyrian--That girl--If I had only listened to Cristal Roman wouldn't have been hurt, I failed to protect Destiny, and Uncle Qrow was--"
"Don't." Melody told her sternly, "Please. Don't do that. Maize and I--We've known you and Yang our whole lives. And the Ruby I remember, would never carry the burden on herself. If you think I'm mad, then you got it wrong. I could never hold a grudge on my family."
"You're a good person." Scout said, "I don't want you to put the blame on yourself. It makes me sad, if I don't see you smile."
"But I--" Ruby said.
"Ruby." Jaune said, cutting her off this time, "We… Lost Pyrrha. You lost her too. And Penny, your team, and… In a way you lost your sister. And yet your still here. Despite everything you've lost, everything you could still lose, you chose to come out here, because you felt like you could make a difference. You didn't drag any of us along---You gave us the courage to follow you."
Ruby looked to Jaune and the others with an expressionless look on her face, though she took his words to heart. Eventually she gave a smile which seemed to have brought up their spirits. Though the moment Melody's eyes laid on Jaune, it seemed to have fallen from her face. It was then, the group had been taken back, when she had walked away from them.
"Melody?" Scout said with worry, "Where are you going?"
Melody stopped for only a moment, "I'm--Just going for a walk. Look after him till I get back."
"But it's dangerous to--" Scout started to say before she was stopped by Ruby. All she had done in response was shake her head. The young Fanus girl seemed to have understood what she was saying.
"Okay." She said calmly, "Just be careful."
"I know." Melody said.
With that, she walked back the way Jaune and Ruby came, none of them actually stopping her; Frosty followed close behind her. Jaune looked down at his feet as he had a look of guilt. "I--Guess she's still upset after what I said to her last night."
"You didn't talk to her about it?" Scout asked.
Jaune shook his head, "I haven't had the time. We--Had to take care of Qrow."
Scout let out a sigh, "I'll be honest, Melody didn't tell me a lot of things about her life before she came out here. When I asked her about Patch, she would often change the subject or just ask to drop it. I was never sure why but--I never asked."
"She--Has her own set of problems." Ruby soon said, "It's always been that way since she got her semblance."
"Her semblance?" Jaune said.
Ruby soon started to explain, "She's always had troubles, especially when we went to Signal together. The only thing I know is she used to boast about wanting a semblance and she was excited when she unlocked hers with Maize. But then--One day she just… Changed her view on it, especially after her mom left. Despite the fact she's my cousin, Yang and I have always seen her and her twin as our own sisters. And I know she doesn't hate you. When you're ready--She'll be ready to listen to what you have to say."
Jaune let out a sigh, "... Thanks--I'll remember that."

-Somewhere in Anima; Pines Farmland-
Destiny didn't have the heart to tell Oscar or his aunt--That she had to leave. She didn't have the strength to tell them goodbye, after everything they had done for her. She didn't want it to hurt, but she also didn't know how to explain it to them. All she knew was, she had to go to Mistral. Something--Or rather someone had been calling to her, and not to mention--She saw the face of her friend.
She had to figure out what it meant, what it all meant.
Not to mention she had to figure out--What was it that was waiting for her?
She knew there had been only one way to find out.
She grabbed a bag and packed what she could, even scrounged what little lien she could find, and stuffed it in her pockets.
She let out a sigh, "That should be enough for the ticket. I just need--"
"Destiny?"
Destiny jumped and accidentally tripped over her bag before falling onto the bed that was behind her. Though she immediately calmed her nerves when she saw it had just been Oscar. "Oh--" Destiny said, "--Thank goodness it's just you."
"What are you doing?" Oscar asked.
"I'm uh--" Destiny started to say while trying to hide her bag, "--Resorting! I thought it's about time to do a little redecorating on my side of the room! You know, do a little cleaning to set things in alphabetical order, all that jazz and what not!"
Oscar couldn't help but look puzzled. Despite the smile she had he could tell she had been hiding something. "Okay--" He said, "--What's wrong?"
"No-Nothings wrong!" Destiny replied as she went to kick the bag away, "Why would you assume somethings wrong? There's no reason to assume somethings wrong?"
Oscar shook his head as he looked amused, "You know you're kicking your bag underneath my bed right?"
Destiny had been confused till she noticed the direction she had been kicking the bag towards. She couldn't help but turn red with embarrassment. "You'd think after staying a few months, I'd know where everything is…" She said awkwardly as she picked up the bag and set it on her bed.
"So--" Oscar said, "--What exactly is wrong? Are you going somewhere?"
The look on her face changed as she let out a sigh. Knowing she had been found out, she had to come out with it now, rather then later.
"I'm--Thinking of heading to Mistral." Destiny soon answered, as it had shocked him, "I--Remember Sage saying that there's a train station not too far from here that can take me there."
He had a quizzical expression on his face, "... Is there--Any particular reason as to why?"
Destiny had been hesitant as she spoke up, "... This--Is gonna sound crazy, but--I think someones waiting for me there. I had a dream last night--It sounded like someone was calling out to me, and they asked me to find them. Not to mention--I saw Yang."
"You mean your friend you told me about?" Oscar asked.
Destiny nodded her head, " I know it's not much, and I know how crazy it sounds, but I think she's in Mistral right now. I was going to tell you and Mrs. Pine, but I didn't want the goodbye to hurt, especially after everything you and her have done for me." She pressed her hand onto her prosthetic leg as her own look softened, "Even though you didn't have much, you gave me a new leg so I could stand on my own two feet, sheltered me, and helped me to heal for the months I've been here. I'll always be grateful to you for that. But I think it's time that I go and look for my family. I need to know for myself that they're actually still alive and safe."
Oscar stayed silent as he pondered for a moment or two as he had been processing this newfound information. Though it had only been a short while and though she came from a family entirely different by blood, he had always seen her like the sister he had never had. Needless to say she had grown on him and his aunt in all the months she had stayed.
Yet in all that time he had realized, she never fully shared her entire story. It was at times like this, Oscar couldn't help but think back to the dream of the woman, her children, the young girl who ran with her baby sister through the snow.
He didn't know why, but he had a feeling it had something to do with her.
Then there was this sudden appearance of the one named Ozpin. He remembered everything he had told him, and still found it hard to believe. It was all--Crazy to believe. He wanted to know, he wanted answers as to what it all meant. And if what he was saying was actually true about what exactly was going on in the world.
"It's kind of funny actually--" Oscar soon said, "--Something has come to light for me too, and I've been hesitant about going myself. But since you want to go to the same place, then I guess that puts us on the same boat."
Destiny couldn't help but look surprised at this sort of thing, yet at the same time--She couldn't help but ponder at a thought. "But… Why do you want to go?" Destiny asked.
"For the same reason you are." Oscar replied, "Though our goals maybe different, we both ultimately want the same thing in the end. Maybe, by going there we can find what we're looking for, who knows? Though--I know better then to leave you alone."
"... Oscar…"
"But we can't just leave unprepared, you know? Even if we are just going to the city we won't know what we're in for. And instead of leaving a letter, we'll probably say our goodbyes to my aunt, since--Let's face it, we're not sure what's going to happen."
"You'd… Really come on this trip with me? You'd really help me find them?"
"I knew you weren't planning on staying here forever, since you already have a family somewhere out there. But the least I can do is give you the company on this trip."
Destiny couldn't help but be driven to near tears as she, despite her slight limp, ran over and gave him a hug; Oscar himself had been nearly taken back by this though ended up returning the hug. "You really are the best Oscar--" Destiny said, "--I'm so glad someone like you found me!"
Oscar couldn't help but chuckle, "Yeah--Though, you should probably let Sage and Coby know that you're leaving, okay?"
Destiny nodded, "I will!"
"In the meantime, I'll gather the necessities we need, and let my Aunt know."
"Okay! I'll go see Sage and Coby right now!"
With that Destiny pushed herself out of the hug before she went out of the room; though before she did, she turned back over to Oscar as she had a smile, "Oscar--Thanks again. You're the greatest!" Soon enough she left the room without another word.
The expression on Oscar's face changed slightly.
"It's nice to see how much she's grown." The voice in his head--Ozpin had said.
"I still can't believe you actually know her." Oscar said, "Or well, know her mom. But how come I can't tell her about you?"
"It would be overwhelming for a child such as herself." Ozpin replied, "Though don't worry, it won't be forever, it's only until she finds what she's looking for."
Oscar couldn't help but have a quizzical look, "How do you even know she'll find them there? I mean--I'm willing to help Destiny find the people she was separated from but, to be honest--What she said just now, about dreaming about them, it's honestly hard to believe. You find it hard to believe too, right?"
"Call it a hunch." Was all Ozpin had answered.

-Somewhere in Anima; Mountain Trail-
The second group, which consisted of Ren, Nora, Roman, Rosario, Cristal and her griffon, had been climbing for the last few hours to get to the end. Often they would stop to catch their breath since it had been higher then they would've expected. Despite this, they had to continue upward towards where they needed to go for Qrows and Destiny's sake.
They managed to reach a stony edge as Rin and Rosario had been the first ahead as they had gotten a better look at the path that was ahead of them. Nora, Cristal and Roman had come up just behind them as Cristal had been helping him to walk along with Senka.
"Oh good--" Rosario said sarcastically as she wiped off the sweat on forehead, "--More mountains."
"We never get the easy part do we?" Ren said.
"Easy's no fun anyway." Nora said with a smile as she put her hands behind her head.
Roman couldn't help but let out a groan as Cristal stopped. She soon sat him down on a rock nearby as he heaved a sigh of relief, "Man--I have gotten old." He said with a joking smile.
"Like it's ever bothered you before." Cristal said.
"How is everybody doing?" Rosario asked, turning back to them, "Y'all still with us?"
"I'm fine." Ren replied.
"As long as I've got Ren here--" Nora said as she patted his shoulder, "--I'll be just fine."
"I'll be alright--" Roman said with a wave of his hand, "--I just need a minute to catch my breath."
"Of course." Ren said with a nod.
Rosario soon took a deep breath as she stood up straight. "Right--!" She said, "--I'm gonna go on ahead to see if there's a safe path. Nora? You mind being my second set of eyes?"
"You got it!" Nora said with a smile.
The two of them soon walked ahead as the group stayed behind. Ren could hear Roman hiss through his teeth as he could feel his wound acting up again.
"Dad?" Cristal said, "You okay?"
"I've dealt with worse wounds then this, remember?" Roman said as he gave her a pat on the head, "Compared to the ones I got before, this one is nothing."
"Are you sure?" Ren asked, "It might be best if you don't push yourself."
Roman only nodded his head as he took deep breaths. Cristal couldn't help but look back as she had a thought while Senka cocked his own head as he rested his head onto her shoulder. "Something wrong, little Gem?" Roman asked, noticing the look on her face.
"Ruby and the others--" Cristal said, "--I wonder if they made it out of the village yet…"
"I'm sure they have." Roman said.
"...They'll be alright." Ren said as his hand shook a little, "I'm sure of it."
Roman and Cristal looked to one another as they each had the same thought--Especially judging from the tense look in his eyes. It was then they had realized as to why he might've been acting that way. "That Village--" Roman said to Ren, "--That wasn't just any village… It was your home."
Ren didn't respond as he just turned his gaze to the ground; it only answered his question. "... All the other towns and villages heard about what happened to it." Roman said as his face softened, at a certain thought as did Cristals when she thought about a certain someone, "Trust me--I know it's hard to lose the place you once loved."
"What's past is past--" Ren said, "--We can't change what happened."
"Tell me about it." Cristal said, "Not a day goes by when I wish I had a way to bring mom back so that Destiny could grow up with a mom. But--I can't, no matter how powerful I get with my magic I was apparently born with."
Roman gave Cristal a hug, as he patted her shoulder, "That unfortunately is the harsh reality of things. Though--On the plus said…It's her love that made us find another family. Like you."
Ren couldn't help but smile, "... Yes, you're right."
The three of them were soon startled by the sound of thunder as it quickly put them on guard. "Thank God Dessie isn't here--She's terrified of loud noises." Roman said.
They soon heard Rosario give a whistle, "Guys!" She called out as she had waved them over along with Nora.
"There's wind blowing in this cave!" Nora yelled pointing to the entrance. Ren, Cristal, and Roman had gotten over to where they were; Senka had assisted Roman as he started to walk. "Would you look at that?" Cristal said, looking at the structure.
"Seems like there might be another entrance." Roman said.
"Who wants to bet it leads around the peak?" Nora said.
Ren sighed, "I suppose there's only one way to fi--"
"YIPE!"
Ren had been cut off when Rosario was knocked over by what looked to be a torn up blanket hitting her face; she fell on her back on impact. Nora couldn't help but laugh while Cristal snickered. Roman on the other hand just looked plain shocked.
"Yes, yes--" Ren said, helping Rosario up, "--Very funny." He soon removed the blanket from her face as she shook out her head and fixed her pigtails. "Phew, thanks." She said relieved.
"Think nothing of it." He replied as he saw what had hit her. It was only then, he had gone strangely quiet as his body tensed up; the others couldn't help but have a look of worry. "Ren?" Nora asked, "What is it?"
They looked at the blanket and that was when they realized--It was actually a flag. The flag had been brown as it had a familiar purple flower logo.
"Hold on--" Cristal said, "--That's from Shion Village."
"Where did we find the Huntsman?" Rosario said, shocked, "That can't be right--It's weeks away from here!"
"Then--" Nora said horrified, "--What's it doing out here?"
Everyone had been taken back when Ren suddenly ran inside letting the flag fly into the wind; though after a moment to process they ran in after him injury or no injury or at least on Roman's part. They had gotten deeper into the cave as they soon stopped in their tracks when they saw what was within. Their eyes soon widened in horror at the very sight of it all.
"Oh my gosh…" Nora said, shocked.
There in the spacious area of the cave, broken weapons and speckles laid about; some propped against the rocks and some with swords thrusted into the ground. Some sort of black puddles of some sort of black substance laid about, as Cristal soon tensed while Senka growled, like he had been speaking to her.
"What the hell is all of this?" Rosario said as she looked around, "Where did all these--"
"DON'T!" Cristal suddenly shouted as she pulled Rosario back roughly when she was about to step into the puddle, "Don't step in the puddles!" She said fearfully.
"Okay--" Rosario said as she had been startled by her reaction, though she backed up, though she noticed how she shook, "--Alright. Just take it easy."
"It's okay little Gem." Roman said as he hugged her, "Just breathe, you're alright."
"Where did all of this come from?" Nora wondered aloud.
Ren picked up a broken arrow; the sand fell off gently as he did. He had been examining it as did the others when they came up from behind. "What could've done all of this?" Rosario couldn't help but wonder aloud.
Cristal felt Senka tug on her arm as he had been leading her somewhere. Her eyes soon widened in shock as she saw what it was exactly he had been showing her. "I--Think I might have a good idea." Cristal said to the group as she motioned them to come over. Before their very eyes, they had seen what looked to be a hoofprint though it had been too large for an ordinary horse, which could only mean one thing.
"That print--" Roman said, "--It looks fresh."
They soon jumped at the sound of loud stomping just nearby; At the same time Cristal's head started to hurt as she let out a groan. Just from the entrance of the cave, they could see the tree getting knocked over as they could hear the footsteps were too close for comfort. As they had run out to the cave, they had soon realized--They had been heading towards Kuroyuri.
"No…" Was all Ren could say as his body shook.
Nora soon took his hand, as a loud piercing roar was heard; though to Cristal… She could hear the sound of a shriek.
Only a few hours had passed as Oscar had gotten everything ready for their trip to Mistral, and met at the outside of the farm as he and Destiny had agreed on. Though much to his own surprise, as he had gone to meet her--He saw she had been accompanied by Sage and Coby as they even looked ready to go as they had been packed and ready. Sage had been wearing a blue hoodie with a yellow skirt and leggings with a set of brown boots, while Coby had on a simple back t-shirt with a set of jeans and red sneakers.
"...Uh--" Oscar said shocked, "--What is all of this?"
"I thought it would be obvious!" Sage said, "We're going on this trip with you!"
"We've got everything we need for a city!" Coby said, "Snacks, spending money, a couple of cards and the latest game of Fighting Ninjas!"
Oscar couldn't help but give an awkward look as he looked towards Destiny who laughed sheepishly. "Sorry--" Destiny said, "--They were very, very convincing."
"Okay--" Oscar said with a sigh, "--This isn't exactly a camping trip. I'm not even sure how long we're going to be gone."
"Don't worry--" Sage said, "--We already let the head of the orphanage know that we're gonna be gone. We promised them to send letters everyday!"
"And we promised to bring everyone back souvenirs!" Coby added, "Hence why we got plenty of spending money!"
"Yeah--" Sage said, "--And, Destiny told us about her family, and how one of them might be in the city. We're her friends, to be more precise, she's our first best friend. The least we can do to thank her for all that is to help her find them."
Oscar just looked plain shocked by the whole thing as he was trying to process this very moment. Though ultimately he let out a sigh of defeat, "Okay--It would be unfair to send you back."
"Sweet!" Sage and Coby said before they high fived each other.
"Let's go!" Coby said.
With that said they walked ahead as they both were practically marching towards the train station but--
"Uh--" Destiny said before pointing it in the opposite direction, "--The train station is that way."
"Knew that!" Sage said as she went in the direction of the train station.
"Yup totally knew it from the start!" Coby said as he followed.
Destiny couldn't help but giggle before she caught up with them despite her limp after Oscar handed her, her own backpack; Oscar in turn couldn't help but smile and shake his head, before he adjusted his bag slightly and picked up a case labeled prosthetic before he ventured forth towards where the train station had been.
As the clouds started to roll in he couldn't help but think about the whole thing as he looked to Destiny, who had been happily chatting with Sage and Coby.
Finally, a familiar voice had broken the silence.
It had been from Ozpin.
"... I'm sorry." He heard Ozpin say.
Oscar soon sighed, "... You know something--The weirdest part is how it feels. Leaving home--Is crazy. Everything you told me, everything Destiny told me is completely crazy. But--It doesn't FEEL crazy anymore."
"Well… I suppose that's good."
"No… It's scary."
As they could hear the sounds of thunder in the distance they each started to pick up the pace, though they couldn't just beat the rain as it began to pour. The four of them started to run towards the train station as it was nearby. By the time they had gotten there, they were drenched.
"Aw man, I'm soaked!" Destiny said as she started to squeeze out her shirt to get rid of the water.
"Whew, look at it come down!" Sage said shocked, "It's like cats and dogs! It's a good thing we're not walking all the way to Mistral!"
"I'll say--" Coby said, "--With the way it's coming down we would've drowned."
Destiny soon ran over to the tracks, tripping a little as she had gotten a view of the tracks. She could hear the sound of a train whistle in the distance as she couldn't help but have a look of awe. "This is actually so exciting!" Destiny said, "I wonder what Mistral's gonna be like!"
"You've never been to Mistral before?" Oscar asked.
"I've only seen it in pictures of a magazine Big Sister showed me sometimes." Destiny replied, "I've never been to it before. I'm kind of excited really! Have you ever been to the city?"
"Not often." Oscar replied.
"We've been there loads of times on trips to the museum!" Coby said.
"Maybe after we find your fam, we can show you all the cool sights!" Sage said.
"I think I'd like that." Destiny said with a smile.
"Come on--" Oscar soon said, "--Let's get our tickets."
They walked over to a ticket machine that had been nearby; he soon started to rummage through his pockets before taking out his wallet. He had soon gotten out his lien card as he went to scan it; though when he did it soon read--
"UNABLE TO COMPLETE REQUEST/ REASON GIVEN: INSUFFICIENT FUNDS (CODE: 726)"
Oscar couldn't help but groan, "Stupid machine."
"Guess the machine must be busted." Sage said.
"Seems that way--" Coby said, "--Sage and I are gonna find some seats inside, maybe grab a couple of snacks for the trip. You coming, Destiny?"
"I'll stay with Oscar, you two can go on ahead." Destiny replied with a wave of her hand.
The two children nodded before they headed inside the station while Destiny and Oscar worked on the machine. "Hmmm---" Destiny said, "--Do you think we can kick it?"
"Yeah, I don't think that's gonna make it any better." Oscar said awkwardly, "I'm assuming you don't have a trick that could supply us with an infinite amount of money?"
Destiny only slumped over, "I wish…"
In his head, he could hear Ozpin let out a chuckle, "I'm afraid you'll have to solve this one on your--"
Oscar soon noticed that he had cut himself off suddenly. "What is it?" He asked softly.
"Tell Destiny to hide her face and be on your guard." Ozpin told him.
"What? Why?" He asked.
"Oscar?" Destiny said as she noticed the way he looked, "Is something wrong?"
"I don't know--" He replied, "--But you need to hide your face."
Destiny only looked confused by this sort of thing, though before she could ask--
"Here."
At the sound of the voice Destiny quickly hid her face with the help of the red scarf around her neck as she put it over her head. They turned in the direction as they saw a man had come towards them. He was large and muscular and had brown skin. He had short brown hair and a beard with eyes that were of hazel. He wore a two tone olive coat with a large brown belt around his waist. His pants were black and the boots he wore were brown and had white fronts.
Both Destiny and Oscar noticed some scars on the edge of his sleeves.
The man soon towered over them as Destiny before he raised his fist in the air causing them to shrink. The man's fist hit the top of the machine which surprised them both. It soon spat out a couple of tickets in a matter of seconds as Destiny was quick to pick it up before the wind could carry them away; the man soon walked away though before he could--
"Don't let such a small obstacle block your path." He soon told them.
The two of them watched as he walked away when they picked up their tickets.
"That person--" Destiny said as her gaze softened, "--He looked…"
Oscar soon took her hand as he gave it a squeeze. "That man…" Oscar said, "... Who was he?"
"Someone from my past... Someone who should not be taken lightly." Was all that Ozpin had replied.
