Maya did not speak and immediately entered the room and locked the door.

"I'm sorry," Ian said and went out of the house. He looked back while Maya was watching him leave from the window inside the room.

"I should have told you earlier then," Maya utters as she leans her hand onto the window touching Ian's face from a distance. Ian left Maya alone in their house to find a job.

Whether Maya wanted to stop Ian, she knew Ian would do the things she wanted to do. She then leaned against the wall while gasping for breath.
