After Chirons eyes adapted to the light, he was greeted by the sight of massive clearing, spanning a least a couple hundred miles in diameter. But that wasn't the most surprising part, it was the massive city sitting in front of him, taking up at least 90 percent of the opening!
Chiron looked around in wonder and on the walls of the clearing, Chiron could see many tunnels similar to the one he'd just walked out of. The only difference being Chirons tunnels being relatively deserted in comparison.
He focused his attention back on the city, and caught a glimpse of a weathered path, leading to the city in front of him. He followed the path until he finally reaching a gate with two massive obelisks an either side of it, both with eerily similar esoteric markings like Chiron...
He stood before the deserted entrance, "AI, are you capable of scanning any lifeforms through this gate?" Chiron asked.
[Scanning...]
[Unable to scan lifeforms due to interference]
'So it's just as I thought, these oblesisks aren't mere decorations. They are probably here to ward off any creatures that might potentially come out the tunnel', Chiron concluded, quickly putting the clues together.
Chiron walked through the gate, all he could see was a deserted area, with broken down houses and dilapidated streets.
'This place looks pretty abandoned', Chiron thought to himself.
"AI, try scanning for lifeforms one more time"
[Scanning...]
[Unable to scan due to interference]
'It seems that the interference isn't only outside, but inside as well'. He didn't actually need the AI to scan his surroundings, because he had the ability, 'Life Sense' , which allowed him to sense any lifeform in a 20 yard radius. However, after thinking this far, he realized that he'd had the ability on since he appeared on this world.
"AI, am I consuming 'Soul Energy'( Basically the power abilities run on) to keep my 'Life Sense' activated". Although Chiron was still oblivious to it, after absorbing the 'Infant Soul' his mind had actually grown increasingly sharper and more capable of complex thought.
[Affirmitive]
[Due to constant use of ability 'Life Sense', soul has been demoted from 'Infant Level'(High Stage)->'Infant Level'(Initial Stage)]
Chiron was understandably shocked by this revelation. He recalled the him before awakening his memory wantonly abusing this ability to hunt down groups of 'Nocturnal Three-Eyed Lizards' and 'Venomous Twin-Tailed Rodents' to sate his hunger.
After reigning in his 'Life Sense', to about his 5 yards around him. Although his 'Soul Energy' would still be consumed, it wouldn't be like before. Plus with it activated, he could at least feel when any creature got too close for comfort.(More information about 'Soul Energy' in author's notes)

He continued down the street for a couple more minutes, before he came across a moderately taken care of house.
It had a garden out front with beautiful purplish-red flowers blooming. Though the house was still run down, one could see the care put into it. However, one detail caused Chiron to furrow his brows, the door was broken down.
Cautiously he approached the doorway, expanding his 'Life Sense' from 5 yards to 10. Chiron quietly walked towards the doorway, but stopped when he picked up 5 life signs from. inside the house.
Slowly peaking through the broken doorway he caught a glimpse of the situation inside

(POV Change)
'My name is Rah'Tu, and I'm a 'Blood Dune Mole'. It had been 20 years since I was abandoned in this hellhole of a city at the. Since then, I'd spent my entire life my in this underground city, which was given a truly fitting name, 'The Den'. And true to its name, 'The Den' was indeed a sespool of criminals from all four corners of the world.
Hidden at least 60,000 miles underground, it was the perfect place for these criminals to hide from the any outside superpower.
Rah'Tu had matured early, and with his sharp Mole like claws, was able to survive in harsh dog-eat-dog world he'd been left in. He'd stolen, robed, lied, and even killed to make it out on top.
One of the three leading powers in 'The Den', the 'Forest Wolves', saw potential on him and took him in.
The 'Forest Wolves' was lead by man named Fenrir. Through his might as a Chieftain Class entity, he solidified the 'Forest Wolves' place as one of the three superpowers of 'The Den'.
As one of the top three superpowers of 'The Den', the 'Forest Wolves' dealt with many industries. From bounty hunting, prostitution, drugs, even assassination requests, as long as the price was right.
Today Rah'Tu had been tasked with finding an old crew member of the 'Forest Wolves', Norm, who had caused great financial losses to the group before running away with the cash. Rah'Tu's task, to kill him.
He reached one of the more deserted parts of 'The Den', beside an abandoned mining tunnel leading deep underground.
It didn't take him long to find his old crewmates house. He didn't waste any time as he kicked the door in.
Norm was a grown man about 5'10" immediately jumped at him with a long blade in hand. Rah'Tu parried his attack with his left claw, before skewering him with his right.
He was about to search for the stolen cash, when something in the doorway caught his attention. It was a small creature he'd never seen before. It had wavy dark hair and eerie abyss like eyes. Right as he was preparing to take care of the witness the creature disappeared and he felt something grasp his head.
Before he could launch an attack at the hands owner, he felt his consciousness slip. His body staggered, as he tried to desperately resist the suction force, but it was all in vain. Moments later Rah'Tu's body fell on the floor, lifeless.
