ONE STEP CLOSER!

*What's wrong with me? Why am I feeling sad watching him talk to other women? No! this isn't it! Get yourself together Hua lin!*.She heaves out a sigh and smiles.

Taeyi glances at Hua Lin, *If only did she cared about me and noticed my feelings*. He sighs.

"Yi Boss, How about it?". The petite women smile at him.

He looks up at the woman and pulls her face by her chin," What will you give me if I let you be my acquaintance?".

The women blushes and smiles, "Something that will make you pleased".

Taeyi peeks at Hua lin again who was watching them from afar.

Lin tries to distract herself and moves towards the bar with Wen.

" What will you have little lin?".Wen looks at her.

"Soft drink!".

She peeks at Taeyi and the women again and she gapes.

She watches as Taeyi pulls the woman closer by her chin. She clenches her first, *What a flirt! He does not leave other women too!*.

Taeyi looks at her and their eyes meet. His eyes were on her as though he was waiting for her to respond. She panics for a moment.

*Calm down lin, It's nothing! What's wrong with me today!Woah!*.

She smiles at him and turns away.

Taeyi lowers his head and laughs silently as Lin turns away towards the bar.*What was I expecting? She doesn't care anyway!*.

He releases the women face from his hand," Go away!".He says with a harsh deep voice.

"Boss yi, did I make a mistake? I am ready to give you anything you want!". The petite woman looks at Taeyi with an apologizing look.

" Go to your partner and where you belong! A woman who is ready to leave her partner for someone else is not worthy of this seat!".He eyes at the arm of the chair where she sat.

She stands up, "Not worthy? Then what about your acquaintance who is fooling around with other men when her Boss is right here?".She smirks and leaves the place.

Taeyi stands up from his chair and moves towards the Bar.

"Five minutes are over. I will take my lady back!".

He pulls Hua lin from the chair and holds her by her hip.

Wen laughs slightly," Okay Boss, I cannot take your women after all. Though I wish I could".He smirks and winks at Hua lin.

Hua lin places her drink at the table and moves slightly away from Taeyi's grip.

"Well...little lin! Hope we meet again!". He forwards his hand to caress her head but gets blocked right away by Taeyi. He raises his eyebrows and raises both his hands to depict defeat.

Hua Lin smiles at Wen," Yes!".

Taeyi holds her hand and takes her away from the Bar and away from the lounge.

They reach the corridor of the hotel.

"Why have you brought me here? The gathering has not finished yet!".Hua lin looks at him.

" I thought you would be bored out there!".

"I was! But I thought you were quite enjoying with the women out there!". She looks at Taeyi frowning. Taeyi looks at her amazed*Is she angry?*. He smiles and caresses her head.

He holds her hand," Let's go! I will take you somewhere else!". He pulls her along and makes his way outside the hotel.

"Where?...". She gets dragged along.

They reach the entrance of the hotel. Taeyi glances at her and opens the gate.

His luxurious jet black car stood outside the gate.

As they step outside the hotel, Swish!!

A chilly blow of wind hit their face.

Hau lin holds herself and wraps her arms around herself" Ah..cold!".

Taeyi pulls her hurriedly and places her inside the car.

He moves towards the driver seat and turns the AC On. Warm air starts to gush out of the Ac.

Hua lin feels at ease and relaxes.

"Where are we going?", Hua lin looks at his face in the puzzle.

He smirks, "Just sit there".

Taeyi turns on the engine and speeds up the car.

Both sit silently inside the car, only the sound of soft music could be heard.

Hua lin glances at Taeyi in the dark. She could see his figure which would be visible as lights of the passing car and houses and lamp streets would fall at it. His amber eyes were all keen at the road, his expression was calmer. His jawline flawlessly suited to his face. His silver hair flowed over his face as the soft wind blew at it. Even in the dark, he looked handsome.

Taeyi feels Hua Lin's eyes on him, "We are almost there just keep up for some minutes".

A long huge bridge stood in front of them, the car pulled over as they reached the centre of the bridge.

The bridge was filled with bright lights, it looked lively and romantic.

Taeyi gets out of the car and moves to the other side. He opens the car door and Hua lin slides out. He shuts the door.

" Come over!".He gestures Hua lin and moves towards the rails.

Hua Lin follows him. She reaches the rails and holds them. she gapes in awe as she watches down the bridge.

A huge ice rink stood beside the flow of the river with many people inside. A colourful tiny Ferris wheel stood beside the rink. The place was colourful and lively. One could only see happy faces among the crowd.

"How beautiful". She smiles widely.

" It's called the Harbour park!".

"Oh!". She shivers as the cold wind rushes over.

Taeyi glances at her and removes his jacket.

He places it over Hua Lin's shoulder." Here! Don't catch a cold."

"mm..okay! But what about you?". She tugs the jacket closer to herself.* It's warm*.

" I am fine!".

She turns towards the front.*The jacket has his smell, Somehow it feels nice*

"Do you come here often? How do you know of this place?". She looks up at Taeyi with exciting eyes.

" I used to come here often with my mother when I was still young".His face darkens and he looks down at the park.

She just nods her head and keeps quiet.*His mother? I have never heard of her!*.

Taeyi notices her silence and glances at her.

"five years ago!.." Taeyi stops for a moment.

"Huh?". Hua lin looks at him.

" It was five years ago I last visited this place with my mother! Then.. she got into an accident.". He leaves out a heavy sigh.

Hua lin looks at him with dear eyes.

She nods slightly.

They fall silent for a moment, both engrossed in their beautiful thoughts.

Hua lin glances at Taeyi. He had his eyes closed and he looked calm.

She smiles in the dark.

Deep inside her heart, she knew that somehow the person who stood beside her today had touched the corner of her heart.

They had become one step closer than they were.

"It's getting colder! Let's go or else you will catch a cold.". Taeyi looks at the girl beside her.

" Okay!".She nods her head.

They reach the hotel in silence.

"I think the gathering isn't over yet! Don't they mind your absence?". Hua lin looks around the hotel. Only a few waiters and attendants were to be seen.

"It's already over I hope! They won't mind! You need to rest and go to bed soon after the tiring event." He glances at her.

"Oh!".

They make their way towards Hua lin's room.

" Go inside and sleep! ".Taeyi stands at the doorway and lets Hua lin Inside.

She stops by the doorway and looks at Taeyi," You too have a nice sleep! Good night!".She smiles.

Taeyi nods at her.
