CHAPTER 3: Static Symbiosis

"There's never a shortage of laptops here. I'm so blessed", he grins devilishly, the walked up to a guy and casually morphs his hand scaring the shit out of the guy... the guy scrambled out of the place as fast as he could.

He looked around, nobody seemed to have noticed the little stunt he just pulled here.

He picked up the laptop, the guy left behind and left the cafe as fast as he entered it. He climed up the rooftop of a building not too far away from the nearest bank before he powered on the laptop.

"I hope this works"

He opened the panel of the PC and "injected" his tendrils into the laptop, connecting directly to the database through the motherboard.

"AWESOME!! It worked!"

"New power? Static Symbiosis? That must have something to do with gaining control over electical and electronics"

"Well...let's put this new power to the test"

He used his staic symbiosis to power up the laptop and gain access to all files on the surface. It felt quite similar to a web of intrigue. He accessed the database of the system and created a false account at the Stallion Bank.

He hacked the bank's accounts and transferred 100million USD to the account. He used a fake ID to register the account and cleaned all traces of his work, registering himself as a legal owner.

"Hahaha... As from now on, I AM THE INTERNET", he laughed as he disposed off the laptop. He left the building and went towards the safe house.

**SAFE HOUSE**

Dana was busy arranging the apartment when Alex suddenly popped up behind her.

*DONG* She hit a mallet on his head in fright.

"Oww!", he said grabbing his head.

"Next time you pop up like that, you might lose your head, psycho!!", she huffed at him in anger.

"C'mon, shouldn't you be happy to see me? Yeah, I bought a little apartment for us at the outskirts."

"Really, you didn't actually rob a bank, did you?", she asked staring at him, hands akimbo.

"Nope. I just collected some money they owed me in my previous life. We don't actually have live here. Let's move"

"How're we gonna move? Walk all the way there? We can't be exposed to the outside yet ya know."

"Follow me", he said leading her outside.

When they got outside, she opened her mouth in surprise.

"A Ferrari Italia? Man I've only seen those in my dreams", she said fawning over the car. Then she looked at him with a questioning gaze.

"You drive", he smiled as he threw the key to her.

**10minutes later

They arrived at the gate of the house. It was a one storey condo, with a swimming pool and a basemen. Quite a nice place to live.

"I have to go, for now", Alex said, seeing that she liked it, he was satisfied.

"Okay. Go do what you gotta do. Just... be safe."

"I will", he said.

"Be cautious, if there's any sign of trouble run, there is a basement, you can hide there. I'll be back soon", he said and jumped out of the house

Dashing and gliding from building, it didn't take too long before he found the nearest hive.

"Okay! Let's go hunting!"
