Part four - Straw Hat Pirates? 8/8

- Luffy-aniki, we have done everything, - a few minutes later, Johnny reported appearing on the deck. - We have collected all the most valuable, and all the food, - he added, dropping two large bags on the floor.

- There's a lot of food, but not much valuables, - added Yosaku, dropping two more bags on the floor.

- It would have been strange if you have found much valuables- Luffy chuckled. - Nami has all the valuables.

- Will not give it back! - the girl immediately reacted. - All is mine!

- Yes, no one argues, - the guy carelessly dismissed her. - In any case we will also sell the ship.

- By the way, how do you share the booty? - asked the girl.

- Seventy percent to me, and ten percent to everyone else. Considering that from today you will also be on our team, now I will receive only sixty percent from all the booty.

- Sixty percent ?! - Nami already suffocated from indignation. But just a second later, her indignation was replaced by shock when she realized one important fact: - And you agree with that ?! - She stared at Zoro, Johnny and Yosaku, who were sitting next to them.

- He's the captain, - the swordsman shrugged indifferently.

- Luffy-aniki's money is Luffy-aniki's money, - Yosaku nodded.

- Besides, we usually don't know what to do even with ten percent, so I don't see any problems, - Johnny shared his thoughts.

In fact, the truth was much more complicated, and all these percentages, for the big picture, were nothing more than phony - they are one family, what else is the distribution of the booty?! - but Nami had to find out all this herself, in the future. But now, such answers from the guys clearly did not suit her. Moreover, she looked as if she did not know what to grab onto: her heart - it would burst, it would burst now! - or a head - does it really happen ?! The voiced answers went against literally all the principles by which the girl lived over the past eight years.

- How much ... how much do you usually earn? - She asked in such a voice, as if she was about to collapse into a swoon ... and she looked the same.

- Differently, - Luffy replied nonchalantly.

- The last team was handed over for a paltry ten million, and the last one for almost fifty - Johnny explained.

- Fifty-fifty mi-million ... fifty million ... hehe ... fifty million ... hehe ...

Luffy shook his head. - Money is a sore subject for her.

- Stop, stop, stop! - Sharply shaking her head, Nami threw up her hand, as if she was really trying to stop someone. - How is fifty million? No pirate in East Blue is worth that much money!

- We're not just talking about the award now, - Yosaku explained, sipping his cigar. - We're talking about the total. - He lightly patted one of the large bags next to him. - About all the valuable things on the ship, the crew's money, the bounty for the captain's head and the price for the ship itself.

- Think about how much a ship like this would cost if you sell it,- he gestured around Johnny.

- Well, at least now we don't need to clean up the corpses and wipe off the blood ourselves, - Yosaku sighed with relief.

- Thank the old captain and his sailors, - Zoro chuckled. - If he hadn't decided to take care of the peace of mind of women, then again we would have had to clean everything ourselves.

- Did it ever occur to you that you can simply not kill pirates on a ship in such quantities? - covered her eyes with the palm of Nami.

- Do you want us to take them out of the ship and cut them on land ?! - Luffy made a surprised face. - Wouldn't it be too cruel?

He was undoubtedly mocking.

- No, I'm talking about just not killing pirates, - the girl was not led to provocation. - Take them prisoner and then hand them over to the marines.

- We, we talked about this quite recently.

- I mean, if you don't want to clean up after yourself, why not just ... litter?

- Firstly, living pirates almost always mean problems, as well as unnecessary fuss. Secondly, a dead pirate is already guaranteed to never be able to take revenge on us. Third, Zoro is pathologically incapable of not killing anyone.

- Hey! - the swordsman was indignant again.

- Fourthly, reputation, Nami, reputation. You saw for yourself what the confident Marine lieutenant has become when I mentioned Zoro's name. And he's a marine. Do you have any idea how the pirates react to him?

Johnny and Yosaku gave off a friendly, cheerful snort, and a slightly creepy smile spread on the swordsman's face. Rather, "a little creepy" she could only seem to people who knew him well; for everyone else, the smile looked "unreal, outrageously creepy." Zoro generally had such a physiognomy. It was definitely impossible to let him near small children: he could well provide them with psychological trauma for the rest of their lives, just by his attempt to smile amiably.

- Last week there was the fifteenth pirate who collapsed into a swoon, as soon as they realized who they need to fight against, - Johnny willingly shared his memories.

The first memory was followed by the rest. Mostly Johnny and Yosaku spoke, but Luffy and Zoro also occasionally inserted their own lines. Nami herself did not notice how carried away by the stories of the guys. Most of their stories were full of black humor, and almost all of their stories were about Zoro or Luffy's various eccentricities.

For the stories, time flew by completely unnoticed.

Almost five hours flew by like an instant, but during this time the girl managed to get to know her new team much better, which the guys themselves persistently continued to call family. At the same time, she finally recognized her name: The Straw Hat Pirates. Despite the almost harmless name - especially against the background of most other pirates - Nami thought that a name like that would fit the team led by Luffy. Such a name was as misleading as the completely harmless appearance of her new captain.

Moored already in the dark. In addition, there was another embarrassment with the sailors. Either no one considered it necessary, or everyone forgot, or no one just thought to warn the local marines garrison that the ship of "Mad" Willie now does not belong to him at all, and Willie himself has long been cold. In short, when the soldiers, in the dim light of the lanterns, rushed at Zoro, only Johnny's hasty intervention saved them from immediate death. Literally a moment before the swordsman pulled out his katana from its scabbard, the guy jumped out right in front of him, and, using one of the bags in his hands, with one stroke, carried most of the marines into the water. Then Luffy intervened, after which the misunderstanding was quickly resolved without unnecessary blood, but the local lieutenant, probably, if anyone gives him a choice in the future, would prefer death by Zoro's sword than repeated communication with the "harmless" lad in a straw hat. Cthulhu Nyarlathotep Shashpanchikisky took an encore.

Then Nami got another shock.

- This ... this ... what is this? - She asked in a weak voice, pointing with a trembling finger at… at… but what the hell is this ?!

- Our current home, - Luffy replied with a confused expression. - Is there something you don't like?

Nami honestly tried to understand what she now sees in front of her. A ship - can it be called a ship at all? !! - the famous East Blue pirate hunters turned out to be ... damn it, what the hell is this ?! Three small boats, over which beams were thrown, stuck in the mast and secured a large steering wheel. Behind the first three, at a short distance, there were three more small boats, also covered with beams and with a stuck mast. Large hammocks were stretched between the masts, in which, apparently, all members of the team slept.

However, this was only the beginning: the complete construction of this "THING" was like a cross. And if you look from above, the right branch - all the same boats covered with beams, only their size was much larger - apparently served both as a kitchen and a dining room. The roof of the kitchen looked like a large mushroom with a straw hat, sprouting right through the round table. In turn, the left branch was a large wooden box with a door and a pair of windows, on the roof of which two multi-colored beach umbrellas were sticking out and four beach loungers were visible. The last part of the structure of this "THING" was the Iron Box, six meters long and four meters wide. The Iron Box, again, was installed on boats covered with beams, and was located at the opposite end from the steering wheel, thereby finally making the structure of "THING" like a large cross. On the door leading to the Iron Box, there was a large wooden sign with a sloppy inscription made in multicolored paint: "Entrance to the su-u-uper secret storage of treasures and other money." The door, in turn, as Nami found out the next morning, was closed with a small iron hook.

Naturally, she wondered what was behind the door with a similar inscription. And, probably, after all that she had already witnessed, she should not have been surprised, but when she saw the contents of the Iron Box, her fallen jaw almost pierced the bars under her feet. As it turned out, behind the door with the inscription, which reported on the super secret vault of money and gold, there was ... a vault of money and gold. Storage more than half full. And all this goodness was closed on one single little hook. However, then, when the girl realized that, last day, while the whole team was looking for her and dismantling Willie, all these treasures lay here completely defenseless, she almost lost her mind. The Iron Box, even by the most modest estimates, hid four hundred million. Nami honestly wanted to cry. She wanted to cry even more when, right in front of her, Luffy, having sold a pirate ship for almost thirty million and received money for Willie's head in the bank, brought all this money for "THING", and, opening the door to the Iron Box, simply threw the cases with the money inside ... All thirty-five-odd million. And then he closed the door again. On a hook.

At that very moment, the girl's mind still could not stand it, and she crashed into a swoon, saving herself.

Okay, because I have exam at Friday, so there won't be a challenge for tomorrow. But it doesn't mean that you can't give power stones to story. Also challenge for Friday will be, lets say, 30 power stones. So start accumulating from tomorrow.

Have a nice day
