Sobbing softly, barely thinking with horror, Koby, twitching with all his might on the rope, plentifully urinated into his pants. Cutting off a few hairs from his head, another dagger whistled past the boy's temple, piercing a wooden shield nailed right behind him. This was probably the thirtieth dagger in a row, which is why the shield began to resemble a needle cushion.
Everything in this life is become known by comparison.
Even this morning, Koby, to the point of trembling in his knees, was afraid of Alvida "Iron Mace", for whose head they gave as many as five (!) Million bellies. He could not even imagine that there was someone stronger or more terrible than her in the world. Up to this day. Now he didn't need to imagine anything. He just met people who were FIVE HUNDRED MILLION TIMES worse than Alvida. Now, after meeting with them, he could not even understand what had frightened him so much in Alvid before? Extraordinarily fat, - practically more wide than tall, - pimply, all in freckles, clumsy, and even trying her best to believe in her own lie that she is "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World". Koby somehow unexpectedly realized that it was necessary not to be afraid of her, but to feel sorry for her. Especially now that she's dead. And even if the boy did not see the body itself, he did not doubt the fate of the woman. This is only in children's fairy tales, people who meet bloodthirsty monsters leave from them alive, but in reality no one survives.
It all happened in one moment. You can even use a common pattern and say, "Nothing foreshadowed trouble." The most common day on a small island that Alvida and her team used as their base. Nothing suspicious, everything is as always. A day similar to hundreds of other days, but it was just like that until the moment when on the horizon appeared ... appeared a "THING". Neither Koby himself nor the pirates around him had ever seen a stranger ship in their life ... if it deserved to be called a ship at all. Although "THING" had sails, yes. But, as with everything else, the sails had their own flavor. Instead of a pirate flag, the Marines' emblem, or the insignia of a civilian company, various creatures were depicted on the sails. On the first sail, an unknown artist painted a caricatured creature vaguely human-like, but with wings on its back and octopus tentacles instead of a chin. The multicolored inscriptions on the sail - made as if they were made by small children - read that: "Cthulhu fhtagn! - Truly fkhtagn! "," Cthulhu swaxxow evribodi! " and "Cthulhu is awake!" The painting on the second sail depicted something amorphous at all, but, again, with many octopus tentacles, as well as arms, legs and eyes. "Nyarlathotep has the best and most delicious cookies in the world!" - can be read the inscription under the image.
By the time "Thing" swam up to a distance of hundreds of meters - or did it drift? Despite the lack of sails, Koby strongly doubted that something like this could swim on its own - the whole team of Alvida, including her, gathered on the shore. By this time, the people had long managed to make out through telescopes and binoculars what was on board - however, "Thing" did not have boards in principle - there were five people. Perhaps someone else was hiding in two buildings-boxes, one iron, the other wooden, but on the deck - however, again, the deck as such, on "Thing" also did not exist - five people could be seen. Three grown men, one guy and a girl. Moreover, the girl, even from such a distance, looked absolutely breathtakingly stunning beauty, with long hair of the color of a mature tangerine and such body shapes for which it was not at all a sin to kill someone. In general, no one on the shore was surprised when Alvida, barely noticing the beauty, instantly became enraged. The pirate herself could not even dream of such an appearance.
When "Thing" came even closer to the shore, to the surprise of everyone, Rabast, one of the best people of Alvida, who joined her team about six months ago, turned sharply and ran along the shore with such speed, as if all the demons of Hell were chasing him at once. Some shouted after him, trying to find out what came over the usually always collected and restrained man, but he, it seemed, from their screams, only ran even faster. However, at that moment, a small boat separated from "Thing", into which all five people climbed, and headed for the shore, so they temporarily forgot about Rabast.
Then, thinking about this moment, Koby could say for sure that if the previously noticed girl had not sat on the bow of the boat, it is quite possible that someone would have managed to avoid the horror that they all had to endure. I mean, anyone else besides Rabast. The blue-haired man, with some paranoid persistence shaving his head almost every morning, once again proved that he had a working brain. But not destiny. The beauty sitting on the bow of the boat instantly attracted the glances of everybody present on the shore, easily and simply forcing them to forget about everything else. Even Alvida's literally burning gaze turned out to be directed at the girl. That is why the people paid attention to her accompanying people only when they all came out of the water to the shore, after her. It should be noted that they turned it very reluctantly.
The stunning beauty, up close, turned out to be even more stunning and mind-blowing than she looked from afar. And, most importantly, she had even more prominent forms than it seemed to the pirates at first. And the bright bikini she was wearing only exacerbated the situation. A very strong impression was created that literally one or two more sighs and the fabric, already stretched to the limit on the chest, simply could not stand it and would reveal to the world the treasure hiding under it. It is not surprising that when one of the guys accompanying the beauty clapped his hands loudly and greeted the pirates gathered on the shore, then, except for Alvida, everyone present felt strong irritation. There is such a view, and some idiot distracts them! In general, as already mentioned, the pirates paid attention to the people accompanying the girl with great reluctance and even more annoyance. Koby, admittedly, too. What about? He was about to turn thirteen, and he is still a guy!
- Oh, mommy! - breathed out a swiftly whitened Svei, who was the very first to figure out who exactly honored them with his presence, along with the beauty in a bikini.
Soon everyone else turned pale, including Alvida herself. And Koby could understand them well. Even he, being, in fact, a prisoner at a pirate base, have heard about a completely abnormal, incredibly brutal and absolutely ruthless group of bounty hunters. According to rumors, they had killed several times more pirates than all of the Marines in East Blue combined. And it was enough to look at their team to immediately understand who is who.
