Part nine - Once, a liar, a cheater and a deciver met 24/??

- Now, come on board! - Luffy patted the railing invitingly.

- What? - Nami did not understand. - Are you going to sail to our boats? Isn't it easier to do the opposite? Where we landed rather shallow, it will be easier for us to drive boats here than to sail there.

- Just climb aboard and that's it, - Luffy sighed heavily. - It's bad for beautiful girls like you to think a lot.

With a slight snort, Nami, nevertheless, obediently moved towards the ship.

- Do you need a separate invitation? - The guy raised an eyebrow, turning to Johnny and Yosaku.

The guys immediately picked up their jaws and hurried after Nami. The habit of obeying Luffy had long been firmly ingrained in their blood, so even the state of shock was not a sufficient reason to ignore the captain's orders.

- So where are we going? - The first thing Nami asked was when she was on board the Going Merry.

- Curious to know everything, huh ?

- Look who's talking.

- First, to our boats, there we will take a couple of suitcases with money, and then we will go to the opposite side of the island.

- What for? - this time Johnny showed curiosity, having already managed to climb aboard.

- Because, if we don't do this, then for another month we will search all over East Blue for our green-headed degenerate ... and when we find it, I will not hold back and will kill him. Where can I find myself equally strong first mate later?

Can not argue with that. Even with murder. Rather, especially with murder. If even Nami, Johnny and Yosaku, sometimes wanted to strangle Zoro with their bare hands when they had to spend hours and hours searching for him, then there is nothing to say about Luffy. Constantly looking for his first mate, he got bored of that on his home island.

- And why do you need money then? - became interested Nami again. - And that much?

- Hey, maybe this boat has a soul, - Luffy lightly patted the main mast, near which he was now standing, - but something here clearly needs to be changed.

- By the way, how many cabins are there? - the girl was unexpectedly puzzled.

Surprised by the fact that Luffy once liked the ship, Nami almost forgot about the most important thing - her separate cabin and a large soft bed in it. In addition, unlike Luffy, who managed to climb the entire ship from top to bottom in the first five minutes, neither the girl nor the guys who followed her had time to inspect the ship from the inside.

- You can say two. One is mine, the captain's, and the other is yours, common.

- What?! - Nami's eyes widened. - I will not share one cabin with them! - she was genuinely indignant. - I want my cabin!

- What can you do? - Luffy shrugged nonchalantly. - You were out of luck this time. Next time, maybe, you will be more lucky. Besides, why are you so indignant? You swam with us all on "Thing" for almost a year, and we had nothing but one Wooden Box for all.

- Forget about this your "Thing"! Everything that was on the "Thing", remains there! Previously, I had no choice, but now that we finally have a normal ship, I want my own cabin!

- Why did you decide that you suddenly had a choice? - Luffy looked skeptically at the girl. - In my opinion, the dictatorship of my name in our family has not yet been canceled, or did I manage to miss something? Maybe we have a riot on a ship?

Johnny and Yosaku prudently withdrew. Taking advantage of the fact that all the attention of Luffy and Nami was focused on each other, the guys went to explore their new home.

- I'm a girl, and a girl must have her own cabin! - brought her most lethal argument Nami.

With whom other such arguments could and ride, but, unfortunately for the girl, she argued with Luffy. If a guy was interested in someone else's opinion, then, in most cases, only in order to be guaranteed to do the opposite.

- It didn't bother you before.

- Bothered! Bothered very much! But before, as I said, I had no choice!

- I also tell you again: why did you suddenly decide that you have it now?

- Because now there are two cabins, and not one common!

- No, now there is one my cabine and one for yours, common.

Grabbing Luffy's hand, the girl pressed it to her chest, after which, looking at her captain with eyes sparkling with tears, Nami said in a slightly trembling voice:

- Please Luffy, I'm a girl, I need my own cabin. - The girl's trembling voice sounded soft, almost intimate, and with a distinctly audible note of despair.

- Uh-oh, do you seriously think the same trick will work on me twice? - the guy didn't get into the game of his navigator at all. - And, even in one day? Before, you had to think before! Maybe, if you hadn't done this with me once, it might have worked now.

- You promised! - Immediately quickly changed the tactics Nami, tears, of course, disappeared as if never existed - You promised me a cabin and a large bed! Keep your word!

- I promised you a great ship, - Luffy said, - there was no question of a cabin and a large bed. You got the ship, so I kept my word.

Nami changed tactics again:

- Luffy, we can agree, can't we? - having pinned the guy with her chest to the mast, the girl began to languidly whisper in his ear, not forgetting to lightly rub against him with her whole body. - You know, I know how to be grateful when I want it.

- Actually, no, I don't know, - Luffy said again. - And take your boobs off me already, this approach won't work with me. Do you think no one has ever tried to seduce me? With my money and power? I knew one literate grandfather, an unrealistically cool shit, so he taught me various tricks, including mental marks. So such tricks don't work with me now.

- Seriously, Luffy, I want a separate cabin for myself - Realizing that all her tactics were defeated, Nami began to moan corny. - I don't want to sleep next to the guys, they all snore so that the walls are shaking, and I'm tired of it for a long time.

-Enough's enough, - taking one of the girl's hands in his, the guy patted her hand sympathetically. - You have already received the ship, and you can easily push your big soft bed into the common cabin. And someday, in the future, you will certainly have your own cabin. You just have to be patient.

Nami realized that she had lost. True, she did not understand exactly why she lost. Despite Luffy's objections, the girl was sure till the end that the guy would give her his cabin. Not to say that Luffy especially indulged her, but Nami was well aware that she got away with much more than Johnny, Yosaku or Zoro. And the girl was sure that this time everything would be exactly the same, because the cabin, as such, was not needed by Luffy. Only, she was mistaken, the guy did not give her his cabin. Why? Unclear. However, Nami learned her lesson perfectly with Usopp. If Luffy suddenly starts to act contrary to his usual logic - or whatever it was replacing it - then he is definitely up to something. Such a conclusion gave little in itself, but Nami immediately, mentally, vowed to look after her captain more closely from now on. If he really had something in mind, then, taking into account the dispute between them, it was definitely somehow connected with her.

- Hey, wannabe-zombie! - Luffy shouted as he approached the board, drawing the attention of Kaya and Merry standing on the bank, and at the same time distracting Nami from her paranoid thoughts. - Tell Usopp not to dump the island anytime soon. We will be back here in a couple of days, at most a week, and we will need to seriously talk to him. Got it?

- Okay, Luffy-san, I'll pass it on.

Kaya didn't quite understand why the entire Straw Hat family called her "Wannbe-zombie," but she wasn't going to argue. Kaya has always been a smart and quick-witted girl, so she could tell in advance that it was useless for her to try to object to her new nickname. Who in their right mind would object to the famous East Blue pirate hunters? Even if in reality they turned out to be not so terrible as they were constantly exposed in newspapers and various stories. Although, perhaps, in reality they turned out to be even stronger than in any stories told or printed about them.

- And look after our things, otherwise I am not responsible for myself! - Luffy reminded the girl.

- We will definitely take care, you can not worry! - Kaya hastened to assure him.

- See you then in a few days, - Luffy waved goodbye to her.
