Chaoter Eleven: officially our Luna

BLOOD MOON PACK

"Cynthia? Where are you?" Conrad called up the stairs.

"Up here!" Cynthia called out.

"I want you meet a few people."

'Okay." She shyly walked downstairs and saw her mate with 4 women.

"Hi,Luna." a cheery woman with fiery red hair about 20 said, smiling. "I am Cherry. I am Timothy's mate."

"Hi, Luna. I am Jasmin and I am Steve's mate," said a quiet woman with black shoulder length hair about 25 years old.

"Hi,Luna. I am Chastity and I am Simon's mate." a dark skinned, green eyes beauty about Cynthia's age spoke.

"Hi" Cynthia said and smiled shyly.

Chastity grabbed Cynthia's hand and guided her out the door of the pack house towards a car. Blake waved goodbye. Cynthia turned to Chastity and asked, "Where are we going?" "Shopping!" all 3 girls responded at the same time. Cynthia dug in her feet and stopped. She had not gone shopping since she was a toddler with her mother. She had no real memory of that. "Why?" she asked. "A dress for your Luna ceremony tonigh!"

"Oh."

The car was started. Cherry was driving. Cynthia was pushed into the back with Chastity. and Off the four ladies went towards the city 45 minutes away.

Cynthia was anxious. 45 minutes later a huge building was in front of her. Cherry said it was a mall and had many clothing stores to choose from. They all piled out and walked into the mall.Cynthia was wide eyed and gulped. This was just too much! Chastity dragged her to a store and began to pull dresses for Cynthia to try on. Cynthia mindlinked Conrad, "Good heavens! What have you gotten me into. This is too much!" Conrad replied, "I am sorry, my love. They waited until they could not wait any longer to take you out." He closed his link to her so not to feel too guilty. He didn't warn her. He was concerned she would talk him out of it and she needed to bond with these women. They were all his friends mates.

Three hours later, Cynthia dragged in with 5 bags of clothes and sore feet. Conrad bashfully approached her and swept her off her feet. He carried her bridal style to their bathroom, drew her a bath and kissed her cheek. Cynthia sighed. It was so difficult to remain upset at him. She undressed and he lifted her into the bath. Ahhh. It felt so wonderful. Conrad washed her hair and body and rubbed her feet while she soaked.

"Forgive me yet?"

"Yes...this feels wonderful."

"Well, my love, it is 2 hours before the ceremony. I need to leave to finish a few things and the girls are to be here soon to help you dress." Conrad threw her a towel; she wrapped herself up in ut and he carried her out to the bed. He laid her down gently, kissed her forehead, walked to the wardrobe, grabbed his clothes and turned to leave. Before his hand reached the doorknob, in walked Chastity, Cherry and Jasmin with make up, hot curlers, straighteners and their own dresses. They addressed Conrad with a bow and walked further into the room. Cynthia blinked and started to say something before being cut off by Cherry, "Ready or not here we are!" All.3 girls laughed.

Cynthia sank into the bed and sighed.

One hour and 45 min later, all 4.women were dressed, hair and makeup done and ready to leave for the ceremony. Cynthia had insisted no heavy makeup so they just used blush and mascara. She did look beautiful. She didn't need makeup. Her dress was silver with sapphire gems around the neckline. it was form fitting and hugged her in all the right places. It flowed down to the ground and she wore 3 inch sapphire blue heels. It was conservative in that it did not plunge low in the front but was backless. Her hair was in a half up do and the rest of it cascaded down her back. She was stunning.

The ladies walked towards the outdoor ceremony ring. There was a stage in the front. The place was lit with string white lights and candles and of course the full moon. Cynthia was nervous. There were so many there! Hundreds maybe a thousand people present.

The other ladies dropped her at the back of the stage and said they had to go sit with their mates now. She just had to listen for the former Alpha Tom to call her up. Alpha Conrad would be waiting for her. Cynthia was so nervous she thought she might be sick.

A loud bell was rung and she heard former Alpha Tom's voice loudly call everyone's attention. He announced why all were there, to accept Alpha Conrad's mate as a member of the pack and a the Luna ceremony. He asked for Cynthia to come up. Cynthia took a step forward...then two..then three and felt faint. Just before she thought she would pass out she felt sparkles on her forearm and heard Conrad's voice, "It's ok. I am here." She looked up at his smiling face and felt better immediately.

"You look so handsome!" Cynthia blushed as Conrad really did look handsome in his black tuxedo with sapphire blue comberbun. Conrad said, "You look radiant."

He walked with her the rest of the way forward to his father. There Conrad said, "Do you,Cynthia pledge your loyalty and life to the Blood Moon Pack, renounce any and all other pack memberships?"

"I do."

"I, Alpha Conrad De Los Thomas accept you, Cynthia Marie Gravely as a member of the Blood Moon Pack. she was accepted into the Blood moon Pack." His Father handed him a silver knife and he cut the palm of his hand. Blood dropped into a chalice below while he handed Cynthia the same knife.She also cut her palm and blood dropped into the same chalice as Conrad's. They clasped bleeding hands. The wind blew and strength flowed through all.the members of the Blood Moon Pack. Everyone gasped as usually strength flows the other way to the new member from the pack. An instant mind link was made and all welcomed Cynthia as a member. Former Alpha Tom again got everyone's attention. Handed Alpha Conrad something. Cynthia didn't see what it was. Then a spotlight was on Conrad and Cynthia and soft music began. Cynthia was perplexed. She had only seen one Luna ceremony before from a distance at the Silver Moon pack. There was no spotlight or music there. As Cynthia looked around confused, Conrad dropped to one knee and grabbed her left hand. He cleared his voice, "Cynthia I have waited a very long time for you." Everyone chuckled. "Ummm...well, I have. And I am glad I did. You are amazing. You are compassionate, gentle, intelligent, strong and I love you. Will you be my mate, my wife and my, our Luna?" Cynthia was crying. "Yes...oh yes!" Conrad pulled out a ring box,opened it, took out a beautiful diamond ring with sapphires around it.He stood, placed the ring on Cynthiaxs finger and kissed her. Just then Tim stepped up. This just turned into a combination Wedding/Luna ceremony.

Tom precided over the wedding and then after the kiss Conrad initiated Cynthia into her new.role as Luna. As soon as she said, "I, Cynthia Marie Gravely...no,Thomas (blushing and sming), promise to care for all members of the Blood Moon Pack equally and will protect the pack with my life." The moon seemed to glory brighter, the wind blew.gently and the entire pack felt another increase of power a.d strength. Then the most bizarre thing happened. Everyone heard it. A voice. a female voice spoke, "My beloved children, I am pleased." Cynthia and Conrad began to glow. Their pendants began to.glow and all dropped to one knee,including Tom, and bowed.

There was silence and then howls.from all the pack members. Conrad turned to Cynthia, hand in hand and said, "Behold your pack, my love."

He then turned to the pack, "Behold your Luna!" More howls. "It is time for our run!" All began to shift into their wolves, including Cynthia and Conrad. On the stage now were two large black wolves and one large white wolf. The pack was startled. Many gasped. Then all howled. Conrad and Cynthia led the pack on the run followed behind them was Tom and Simon and behind them Timothy and Steve and their mates. The pack ran the perimeter of the territory in joy under the moonlight.

By the time they returned to the pack house they were spent physically. Cynthia took Conrad's hand and pued him to the stairs. Tom bid them goodnight and went to his temporary room down the hall. Simon and Chastity also went to their room. As the bedroom door closed, Conrad took Cynthia in his arms and kissed her gently.
