Bachelorette

Alex's POV

"I don't need to leave... I can stay here. I'll help you". I told Piper, while she's busy preparing the house for her bachelorette party.

Her whole family arrived yesterday and they are staying at Nicky's apartment. Nicky, was so generous enough to welcome them in her home. She has a nice place and if it was me, I'd rather stay there as well than stay in a hotel.

Me and Nicky are going somewhere else tonight for my bachelorette party and I have no idea where she's taking me.

"No, no, it's your bachelorette party too so you have to go. Besides I already have help here".

It's true, Neri is here, her mom, Callie, Lexie and Amelia.

Nicky and Amelia are finally dating, which I'm really happy for them. Amelia, turns out to be really sweet and caring towards Nicky.

"Bachelorette parties are created for those who are sad to see the passing of their single days. I am not even sad so there's no point in going". I whined.

"Absolutely true". She agreed.

"So am I allowed to stay then?". I said hopeful.

"No! You still have to go. We already planned this, Al". Piper turned around to face me and place her hands on my chest.

"Listen, I want you to have fun tonight". She whispered. "After tomorrow we're officially Married and you're stuck with me forever". She lean forward and kiss the tip of my nose.

"So? That doesn't sound bad". I replied.

"I know but you still have to go. Don't disappoint, Nicky, she was looking forward to this". And by that she got me. Nicky, wouldn't shut up about this for days now.

I give up and packed my things. The wedding is tomorrow and I won't be sleeping here tonight, because according to the tradition that my wife found over the internet you are not supposed to see the bride before the wedding. Which is very tricky considering there are two brides. So me and Nicky will be staying at their penthouse.

At 7 pm I was packed and ready to leave.

I got out of our bedroom and I can immediately hear the ladies laughing. I walk to the living room and the whole place is decorated with pink balloons and there's a table at the center with different kinds of desserts.

What caught my attention is the bright pink cake in the middle with a cake topper that says "same vagina forever". I also noticed some cupcakes that made to look like breasts and there's even cookies shaped as vaginas. There's also a banner with words like "Two brides are better than one".

I laugh and shake my head. This what makes Piper so excited about?. Now I'm secretly glad that I'm not staying, this is too feminine for my taste. I search for my wife and I saw her sitting in the corner wearing a veil and posing for pictures.

I can't help and smile at her. She's clearly enjoying this party which makes me happy for her. Lexie and Callie are taking her pictures while Nicky and Amelia are sitting on the sofa talking to each other.

Piper's mom is standing beside the dessert table looking at the food. She probably doesn't like what she's seeing there which I find very amusing.

Someone tapped my shoulder and I spin around to see that it was Neri. Oh Jesus!

She's definitely the most least people I want to have a conversation with. I don't hate her in general but there's something about her that bugs me. I don't like her attitude towards, Piper and my wife can't see that but I'm good at reading people.

"Ready to leave?". She asked.

"Yeah, I'm just going to say goodbye to Piper".

"You know what I think?". She said while holding a glass of wine.

Honestly, I don't really care what she's thinking about, but I don't want to be an ass, nevertheless I pretended to be interested.

"About what?". I reluctantly turn my body towards her.

"I think, they should need to add a bit more decorations... And these are all Piper's friends?".

This is precisely the sort of behavior that made me dislike Neri. She is so shallow. She's overly concerned with other people's lives and not in a very healthy way. I always think that she's very insecure and I hate how she treated Piper in the past.

I was trying my best not to roll my eyes at her.

"Yeah, This is everyone. They're really good friends and they mean so much to, Piper". I said a little bit defensive. I like everyone here, except her.

"Where are you going tonight?". She inquire but I felt intrusive by her question.

"Ummm... I really have no idea". I said politely.

"Who's coming with- ?". She started to ask but was cut off by Piper.

"Oh Alex! come here!". Piper, called when she spotted me and motion for me to come.

"I'm sorry, will you excuse me?". I said to Neri though I'm not really sorry. I was thankful that Piper, saved me. I don't really like talking to her.

I rush beside Piper, before Neri can ask more questions.

"Are you leaving now?" Piper asked.

"Yes, I'm just waiting for Nicky".

"Let's take a picture first". She said excitedly.

They took so much photos of the two of us that by the time we are finished my face is hurting from smiling too much.

"Okay babe, we really need to go". I insisted.

I walk over to Nicky and tap her shoulder and whispered in her ear.

"We really have to leave before they let me wear that stupid veil and make me hold that vagina cookie and pose for more photos".

She chuckled and said her goodbye to her girlfriend.

I grab my bag and head out the door. Piper following behind me.

I turn around and face her.

"How are you feeling? No second thoughts?". I asked her.

"Are you trying to ditch me, Alex Vause?" Piper said while wrapping her arms around my waist.

I laughed. "Just making sure. I don't want you to do anything you're not sure about".

"I am already sure about you". She murmured.

"So I'll see you tomorrow then?". I asked.

"Yeah, I'll be the one in a wedding dress". She replied.

"Got it!". I said and lean down to kiss her.

"Alright ladies, I'm ready. Let's go, Alex". Nicky interrupted us.

I clutch Piper closer to me a little bit more and kissed her deeply.

"Okay, that's enough! Let's go!".

Nicky, said impatiently.

"You'd better not make her late". Piper, warned.

"Don't worry Piper, I'll bring her here tomorrow in plenty of time".

"You're not taking her to a strip club, are you?". Piper, fold her arms infront of her.

"Better than strip clubs actually". Nicky shot back and winked at her.

"What? Where?". She asked curiously that her eyebrows scrunching together.

"I'm not telling you". Nicky teased her even more.

"Alex!". She faced me and a worried look is evident on here face. She look so cute angry and wearing that veil.

"Don't worry babe, we're not going to a strip club. Stop taunting her!". I playfully punch Nicky on the arm.

I kissed Piper, one more time and we left.

"Where are we going?". I asked Nicky in the car.

"We're going to a lesbian bar". She said excitedly.

I've never been to a lesbian bar before so this should be exciting.

I was expecting it to be a regular bar just off the side of the street with a bouncer standing outside the door and you can hear loud music with crazy different lights. I was confused when Nicky, parked her car in a ground floor of a hotel.

"Umm... I thought we are going to a bar?". I ask confused.

"Yes, we are. Trust me Vause, you'll like it there".

We took the elevator and she punched in some number combinations instead of just the floor number.

"This is a private place and very fancy. Not everyone can afford to come here".

"You have to pay to come here?". I asked surprised. She said not everyone can afford it.

"So how much do you pay to come here?". I tried to asked casually.

"Trust me Alex, you don't want me to tell you, it might give you a heart attack". Nicky knows me too well that I don't like spending money on nonsense things.

We reach the floor and the elevator open to a wide space area covering the top floors of the hotel. All covered in glass and a breathtaking 360-view of the city below. There is also an observation deck outside.

On the far left is an array of extensive list of classic cocktails and over a hundred curated wines you can choose from.

There's probably over 50 people here. The place is really nice and modern. There are big purple lounges surrounding the glass walls. This is really fancy and unexpectedly very relaxing place.

Me and Nicky walk over to the bar area and ordered some drinks. I don't plan on getting drunk given that I still have a wedding to attend tomorrow.

Nicky excused herself to go to the toilet so I decided to go outside and see the view out there.

Wow! This view is amazingly breath taking. I wish Piper, was here with me. The air here is nice and a little bit chilly.

"Pretty". Said the woman beside me. I gaze at her and she's staring back at me smiling.
