Third person's
Upon informing Harrison about Khalil's request, he immediately refused considering he has a lot to work on.
Khalil on the other hand waited for him patiently regardless of his refusal, she believes what she saw in his eyes was genuine way back in the black market.
An hour had passed yet no Harrison arrived, no knocked on the door nor footsteps heard. She grows impatient and worried considering she cannot guarantee the kid's safety, she cannot withstand the words 'they're safe' not knowing where they are.
She needs to know, how's Danny doing, she remembered Danny passed out, she needs to know they are all alright.
Not wasting any second she gets up on her bed barely moving her other arm as it gets shot at the incident. She managed to step out of the room taking her dextrose with her and anxiously stared down the long stairs.
"Jesus" she uttered as she began trembling on her way down clasping tightly on the wooden rail.
She finally reached the flat floor and headed straight to where she first met Harrison. Unfortunately, no one is guarding the gate.
"Where the hell are they?!" She hissed as she paused for a second and observed the place.
She resumed searching the place until she noticed an illuminated smoke coming out from a figure who was leaning on a car in the garage.
She hurriedly walked near that figure as fast as she could but unfortunately tripped over the lower portion of the cemented ground that she didn't notice. She crushed on the ground painfully yet she prevented her screaming creating a low high pitched yelp.
Her dextrose flew away and it pulled out the back of her hand and her injuries were badly affected.
"Stupid" she heard a voice so she instantly glance up and saw Harrison looking down at her annoyed and holding a cigar in between his lips.
"It hurts!" She whimpered
"What the fuck are you even doing here?" He gritted as he crouched down and helped her lay properly.
"I was looking for you, I want to know where exactly the kids are," she replied, breathing heavily.
"They are fine" Harrison shortly replied
"That's exactly what Jarred had told, I'm asking where the fuck did you take them?!" Khalil hissed.
Harrison didn't reply and dialed her phone.
"Hurry, I need help" he uttered before hanging up
"Don't move too much" he coldly stated making Khalil's blood boil over the fact that they don't want her to know where the kids are and it makes her more anxious.
"Harrison, please I need to know" she begged as she felt strings of tears roll down her cheeks.
Harrison didn't meet her gaze and clenched his jaw, he hated this kind of situation. It makes him feel uneasy and doesn't know what to do.
"Harrison, I'm begging you please tell me" she sobbed as she reached for his jacket and pulled it towards her to meet her gaze.
"In my warehouse, if you're that desperate, go and check for yourself when you're fine, don't burden us further with your carelessness" Jarred spoke and Khalil just realized she messed up and nodded slowly.
Melissa, on the other hand, felt sorry for Khalil yet she remained silent and assisted her to get up and told Harrison how she will carry her properly.
"Your wounds are slightly opening up a little bit with the impact, that's why it caused bleeding, but don't worry it's nothing serious, let's just get some rest and a new dextrose" Melissa lightly informed as they finally reached back to the room.
Khalil just nodded as a reply ashamed that she's causing them more trouble.
"I didn't really mean to push you earlier, I'm really sorry" she lowered her head and glanced up briefly towards the Doctor.
"I know, please don't be. It's all alright, just take the med and rest" the Doctor advised and Khalil just lay on her bed ignoring the medicine on the table.
"Uh, Ms. Khalil the med- you need to take t-"
"I hate the taste of it, please take It away fro-"
"Take the fucking medicine, or I'll shove it to your throat" a furious and threatening voice erupted towards Jarred as he grows impatient towards Khalil's attitude.
Khalil turned towards the Doctor and took the medicine, tossing it in her mouth and drinking the water before laying back.
"Alright, if anything hurts just press 1 on the telephone and I'll be here, alright?" Melissa informed and Khalil nodded, holding the Medicine at the back of her throat. it's been her little trick to fake her taking a med.
"Alright, I'll go ahead, good night people" Melissa bid and walked out the room followed by Harrison without saying any word.
Khalil waited for Jarred to exit the room yet he just walked near her and watched her. Khalil glanced at him with a frown on her face as she got more uneasy about the med that stuck on her throat.
"Swallow it" Jarred ordered sternly yet quietly.
Khalil just stared at him, annoyed that he just has to be a good observant.
"Don't waste my precious time sweetie, I had unfinished business with the Doctor and you just have to interrupt us on perfect timing" Jarred started with a low voice
Khalil spits the medicine out of her mouth when she cannot hold it in any longer.
"Stopped reminding me that I called for help, nor wanting your precious time, cause you knew I never wished any of your attention" Khalil stated before turning her back on him and reaching for the water and taking an amount of it.
"Unless I'm very much mistaken, it's you who's always been needing me" Khalil murmured before laying and closing her eyes.
"You're right, you're very much mistaken, it's not that I need you, but you're quite useful for me, and if you didn't get any better, well it's quite alright since you've been a pain in the ass" Jarred replied but Khalil just listened and not responding.
"Now if you insist that kind of attitude, It must have been quite easy to throw you away together with those whiny brats and let you get hunted and chased by the black market minions, is that what you were telling me, Khalil?"
Khalil visibly froze with the threat that underlies Jarred's statement. She knew it was not impossible, knowing full well how many of them she took lives.
"I'll just throw it up, it's no use" Khalil sighed frustrated
"No you're not, now take another" Jarred ordered
Khalil took another packet of medicine and this time she swallowed it together with the water.
She immediately felt the uneasiness on her stomach and immediately placed her hand on her mouth preventing vomiting.
Jarred suddenly took Khalil's hand that covers her mouth and clasp their lips together. The sudden action startled Khalil that she couldn't even move in her place and just stared at Jarred with wide eyes.
Jarred didn't mind Khalil's reaction and kept on kissing her slowly and held her throat to apply light massage on it.
Khalil felt relaxed and she was surprised with the effectiveness he did towards her. She felt the urge to respond but Jarred had already decided to pull away from her with a lingering taste of him.
He quietly stared at her for a while but Khalil was gone awkward so she just looked away from him and laid carefully on her bed turning back on him.
"You're very much welcome" Jarred sarcastically muttered before stepping out of the room.
Khalil on the other hand can't catch up with her breath with her heart pounding wildly on her chest and beads of sweat slowly forming on her forehead.
"Fucker"
