Chapter 3. The System

[Beep... beep.... system responding to the host....]

This time when Zhao Long heard this voice he was not shocked or confused because he had been hearing this voice for quite some time. "System what are you and how am I your host? Why did I get reborn in this body? 🧐"He asked with a curious look.

[Answering the hosts question.... The system is the Host's guide in this world and is programmed to Help the host to become the strongest in the world so that he can live the life he wants to live.... as for why the Host has been Chosen as The Host due to the regrets you had carried in your past life...]

"So it's because of that!"Zhao Long frowned.He went into a deep thought."So how will you help me become the strongest in the world?"

[Answering to the Host's question.....]. Suddenly a projection which looked like a computet scene appeared in front of him.[The System is programmed to help the host so he can use the special features of the system to fulfill his desire..]

[Would the Host like to learn about how the system works...]. As the System said two buttons appeared infront of him. The first said Yes while the Second said No. Zhao Long pressed the first button.

[The System will provide the host with points which the Host can use to buy items from the Shop. Points can be earned by completing Tasks assigned by the System. The Host will also receive points when he masters a skill and when he breakthrough a realm. 10 Points will also be given to the Host on a daily basis]

"Is that all?So how many points do i currently have?"

As He asked a different screen appeared infront of him.

Condition:Sick, extremely weak

"So I currently have 300 points. System what can I currently buy with these points?"He asked.

[beep..]! A screen which showed different items appeared infront of him. On the top of the screen there was written Shop. There were various weapons, Pills, Martial Skills and other Cultivation resources in the Shop.

As Zhao Long was seeing what items were in the Shop his eyes came across a certain item. It was a Golden pill with 150 points written as it's price . It was the Yuan Dispersal Pill a Soul grade high rank pill and in the dircription it showed that it could cure any disease and could restore one's vitality.

Zhao Long had been ill from the moment of his birth because of which he had to stay in his room all these years.Zhao Long thought that in order to become Strong first he must be healthy and has to train so he clicked the buy button.

[The host has purchased the Yuan Dispersal Pill...this pill can only be purchased twice...and a person can only use it once in his entire life..... ]

As the System informed him about this a Golden light appeared in his hand and after the light disappeared he was holding a jade bottle. He opened the jade bottle and saw the Yuan Dispersal Pill.

He took the pill outside of the bottle and stuffed it inside his mouth and he sat down on the floor crosslegged and started to refine the pill. As he started to refine the pill his body started to get warm. He felt really comfortable the once pale and skinny body was now full of vitality. He pale face started to brighten up.

Two days passed, he had finally finished refining the pill. Now he was full of energy. He did not feel tired at all. He was really satisfied with the results of the pill.

As he was admiring the results of the pill.His body started to radiate a Golden light. His body was continuously absorbing Qi from the surrounding. His body was continuously being filled with vitality. He thought that his body was about to explode because of the Qi which was being absorbed by his body.

He finally understood what was going on. He Was about to breakthrough! He quickly sat cross legged and focused on stabilizing the qi inside his body. It was extremely difficult, the qi was too much for his body to store.

He felt his muscles stretching and his bones cracking. He felt extreme pain but he continued to stabalize his condition.

As Zhao Long was stabalizing his condition. Outside the imperial palace dark clouds started to appear on top of the palace.After Seeing the Clouds everyone knew that someone from the Royal Family was breakingthrough!

Whenever a person breaksthrough the person has to go through a thunder tribution. The higher the realm the more tribution he/she has to go through.

As everyone was looking at the imperial palace the first thunder tribution struck the palace!Inside the palace Zhao Long was going through the first tribution.The thunder was so strong that he thought that his body was going to be burned to ashes.His whole body was struck by the thunder.As the first tribution ended Zhao Long could finally rest for some time as the second tribution started the second tribution was much stronger than the first!Zhao Long had to experience the pain again!After that the third tribution started and then the fourth.Zhao Long's whole body was about to collapse but he still had do endure the pain or his very soul would be extinguished by the thunder!

The fifth and final tribution started.As Zhao Long was going through the final tribution his body could no longer endure the pain his muscles started to tear and his bones started to crack.He was going through an unimaginable pain even his soul was starting to be damaged.

"I can't die here!How can I let myself be killed just after being reborn!I haven't even gone outside this room and explored the world yet.How can a mere thunder tribution take my life,I won't die even if the Heavens want me to!!"

Zhao Long roared!!as he bought a pill that restores vitality and stuffed it inside his mouth.

After half an hour the tribution ended and the black clouds surrounding the palace disappeared.There was an uproar in and outside the palace.The people were curious about the result of the tribution.Had the person succeeded or not?Such thoughts were in everyone's minds.
