Ellis Takes Over As The New Ruler

Seeing all the others Raymond comes forward and holds his sword in front of his heart and says, "To the new ruler of the vampire world. We pledge our lives to the power and integrity of our leader Ellis Cosmos."

All together say, 'Hail! Our leader Ellis Cosmos'

Edward steps forward and asks Raymond what changed him to which Raymond says, "Firstly, Sire, I'm sorry for having them attack you. Even though you are your parents' son, I still wanted confirmation, you deserve to be the ruler. And, your wit has overpowering strength that no one can stand. No one is more capable of ruling us than you.

Unfortunately some of our brothers have waived off the wrong path and are going against the treaty set by the Cosmos ruler millennia ago. And, (a little hesitantly) Sire, Her Lady Sophia is one of them."

Giving a hand for everyone to get up, Ellis says, "I thank you all for following the treaty set by my ancestors and still being loyal to me as the ruler even though I didn't take over after my father like I should have. Everyone who is here, I want you to spread this information as any misunderstanding can be fatal for us. Sophia betrayed me to kill my father. A traitor is by no means a lady and has no concern with me. If she's captured, she'll be treated as a traitor.

(everyone begins to whisper. Then one vampire steps up and asks "Sire, then who'll be our queen?")

Don't worry your queen has already been chosen. When the right time comes, I will introduce her to the entire world. For now everyone takes care no one breaches the treaty. Anyone who does will not be spared. Jared is one of them and he's also Sophia's mate so, both are wanted."

And so all the vampires leave. Ellis and everyone come back inside.

As they come in, Edward says he's going up to tell Dorothy and Mathilda the outcome. I'll send Clive and Denver down.

But before Edward can go upstairs Jane comes running down and stops Clive and Denver behind. Seeing Jane, Edward says to Ellis, "I think we should leave you both. Come on boys, let's go up. Joel and I have a lot to tell." All go up leaving Jane and Ellis alone.

"Wow," says Ellis, "the way you were coming down I thought you'd run over to hug me, but you stopped."

Looking a bit tense Jane says, "My heart wanted to but, my mind stopped me as now you're the ruler and in search of a wife, I don't have any rights on you."

Ellis says, "I think that's for me to decide. (Going over to Jane) Jane, I agree when I confessed, I was just Ellis, a vampire who had a royal bloodline, but now I'm Ellis Cosmos, the vampire ruler, but that doesn't change my heart, it's still yours. I know it's going to be hard for us, but if we truly love each other, we'll overcome all the barriers."

The moment Ellis says this Jane runs towards Ellis and hugs him tightly. Ellis also hugs her back. As they loosen the grip, Jane's scarf gets caught in Ellis's shirt's button. As she frees her scarf she ends up opening Ellis's shirt's top button and sees he's wearing a locket.

On seeing Jane has seen the locket Ellis takes it in his hand and says, "It's my moms, for her daughter-in-law. It's to be given on the wedding day. We vampires don't exchange rings. We have lockets with the family emblem which our women wear as a symbol of being the wife. The emblem on the locket is to proclaim the wearer is the wife of the king. She was to wear it till I took over from father and she would put it on the neck of her son's bride. But, she had to remove it and gave it to Dorothy before dying. Since then it's been with me waiting for its rightful owner."

As Ellis reaches to close his buttons Jane catches his hand and sees it's the same as the scar on her neck she thought she got from Jared. Seeing Jane stop him, Ellis asks, "Jane got any plans for tonight."

Seeing she's stopping Ellis from closing his buttons, she instantly pulls her hand away and shyly says, "No, no. It's just the emblem, it's the same as this (Jane removes her scarf showing the sign to Ellis), that's why I wanted to see."

"That's why you're wearing a scarf." asks Ellis

"Yes," says Jane, "I got it on the day we met Jared and Sophia. I thought I got it from his attack."

Laughing, Ellis says, "Oh, Jane. If you love me, you need to confide in me, be able to ask or tell anything."

Crying Jane says, "No, Ellis, don't get me wrong. I love and trust you more than anyone. I.I.I was afraid Jared gave it and you'd be angry."

"Jane, I love you. Do you know it's been a thousand years since I left Sophia. From that day till I heard you for the first time, my heart didn't skip a beat for any female. It was your voice that stole my heart. I just couldn't leave and the moment I saw you, your image is embedded in my heart. I was hesitant cause you're a human, but now it's the celestial wish for us to be together. And, as for this sign, it's my imprint on you as my chosen wife. Anyone who sees it, will know you're mine, the wife of the ruler, my queen."

"Ellis, you need a vampire wife…

Stopping Jane, Ellis says, "Jane, I need a girl whom I love and want to marry and that is you. No one can and will change that."

As Ellis embraces Jane, Jane also embraces Ellis happily and worried as now she has to prove to the vampire world she's worthy to be Ellis's wife.

As Ellis and Jane are talking, the boys come over and Joel asks, "So, Ellis, is Jane your girlfriend?"

Smiling Ellis says, "Not girlfriend (the boy's smile fades away), but wife, well, almost."

"Wife!" yells Joel "Almost? What does that mean? Is she or not? Asks Clive. Denver sees the sign on Jane's neck as she's not wearing the scarf now and says, "Jane, were you covering that and what is it, how and when?"

"Wow, calm down guys," says Ellis, "Joel, yes wife. Clive, she's almost my wife. Denver, the sign on her neck, that she was covering cause she got it when Jared attacked her and this stupid girl (hitting her head with her finger to which Jane gives an 'ouch' sound) thought she got cause if that. Whereas, it's my imprint on the girl I've chosen to be my bride. Chosen, not married yet so, almost."

The boys cheer all together and congratulate both. Then Joel asks, "Ellis, your parents and Jane's mom?"

Jane speaks up replying, "My mom has given her blessings in the morning. She knows I love Ellis, and she's accepted him as her son. (looking at Ellis) Your parents…

Just then Dorothy comes and says, "Jane I already saw the sign and understood Ellis has chosen you. As for Edward, he also knows, that's why he rejected the plea for asking Ellis to find a vampire soon. Edward told them Ellis has found his justifying wife and when the time comes, you'll know.

And, so the day goes by. In the night Ellis comes on the terrace and sees Edward and Dorothy are sitting having a talk. Coming closer he says, "Without me Huh."

Seeing Ellis, Edward says, "Ellis, never. We thought you might like to sleep early. Today was hectic."

Sitting in between them Ellis puts an arm on both of them and says, "No sleep is important and no hectic level can stop me from coming to my parents."

Both together say, "Ellis"

"Guys, nothing can stop me from coming to you guys. You're my parents. I'm not leaving you both."

Both Edward and Dorothy also hug Ellis. Dorothy emotionally says, "Ellis, though you're not my born, I love you no less." Edward also says, "Yes, Ellis, I've always taken care of you as my son. And, today I'm the proudest father ever."

Getting on a serious note Ellis asks, "Guys, you know about Jane, so?"

Looking at Ellis, Edward says, "Ellis, I'm with you. Until now I only had a son, today I have a daughter also." Smiling Dorothy says, "Yes, our daughter. We'll always be with you both. But, what's your plan, how will you tell?"

Replying, Ellis says, "I know it won't be easy, but I hope soon. But, first Jared and Sophia need to be stopped. Sophia has other plans, she still thinks she has a chance with me and can harm Jane."

"Don't worry, Ellis," says Edward, "From now on we're on every move Jane makes. We won't let her get in danger."
