Why Is Lilian Eager To Make Ellis Her Mate

"Mate sense, now what's that?" asks Joel, looking at the werewolf boys. Fallon nods and says, "Don't ask us. We just know you sense your mate and pursue her. But as in werewolf for a werewolf and vampire for a vampire, but werewolves sensing vampires or vice versa as mate, that don't even know is possible."

"Guys mate sense is what Fallon said. And, if she's what I think she is, she's gonna be one big problem to deal with and that's what's bugging me. And, the reason I kept telling Jane is my fiance, not cause Jane or I doubt each other, but to make it clear to her. But, she seems to be neglecting my words. Lycan or what I think she is, Jane is one and the only for me, I have no place for any other. And, if she dare think of harming Jane, she'll soon find out who she's dealing with. Now, we need to find out if she's alone or there are more of her types in her ace student group."

Suddenly Jane's phone rings, seeing it's an unknown number Jane says, "What, only our principal, mom, Ellis, his parents and you boys have my number. Who's calling?"

"Jane put it on speaker, let's see who's calling." says Joel

Putting on speaker Jane says, "Hello."

A male voice on the other side says, "Mom, help I'm lost, honest I'll do as you say. Please. ('Hello, who are you? What number you dialed? Asks Jane) Holy s***. I couldn't dial my moms number. Look miss, I'm lost. My phone is broke. I can't read the numbers. I dialed my mom and OH! God please help."

"Hey, calm down." says Jane "Can you give me an idea where you are?"

"I came hiking alone over the northern cliff. Everything was fine till that thing came in my way and I fell over into this pit. I can't get out. Please help me."

Jane looks at Ellis and getting an OK nod says, "Hey calm down. We'll come by soon. Just hang on."

Luke says, "He's on the northern side mountains, it's close by to our home. Let's go, it's not a good place to be at night."

Within an hour they arrive at the base of the mountains. They decide to spread out and search. Soon Sam and Denver find the boy in the pit and send message to the rest to come over.

As they look into the pit, the boy looks up and says, "Wow! You came. Thanks man."

Seeing the boy Luke says, "On behalf of everyone, it's OK. Just doing our good deeds. Now, let's see what we can do."

After some thinking they decide to send Nathan down so he can tie the boy up so the others can pull him up. Nathan does accordingly but isn't able to push him from the back so Fallon also jumps in and both finally manage to push him while the others begin to pull him up.

Finally he's out and seeing Jane is the only girl among the boys he says, "You must be the missus on the phone. Thanks for bringing an army to get me out. Oh! I'm Sylvester, you can call me Sly."

Smiling Jane says, "Hi, I'm Jane, this is Ellis, my fiance and (gesturing to each one) this is Luke, Joel, Denver, Sam, Nathan, Clive, and Fallon, my friends. They were with me when I got your call and this part of the mountains isn't safe at night so… "

"Oh! You're telling me. Honestly if I told you why I fell there you'd not believe me. (Nathan says 'try us') {With wide eyes} OH! OK it was a dog-wolf-human thing. ('What?' says Clive) Told you wouldn't believe me. ('I meant give a clear explanation of what you saw' says Clive). Oh, OK, it had a dog face, wolf teeth and breath, standing tall like a human, really tall like 6.5-7 feet tall."

Suddenly Ellis says, "A vamp-wolf"

Everyone looks at him confused and Denver asks 'A what?'

Replying Ellis says, "A hybrid of vampire and werewolf."

Looking stunned Sylvester says, "Hey, those things are in the movies. Come on vampires and werewolves don't exist. They are a myth. (Ellis, Luke, Sam, Nathan, and Fallon look at each other while the others smile at the fact they are standing next to not just werewolves and a vampire but the ruler of all beings) On top a hybrid of them. Man, it's probably a lunatic in costume but, have to say, it looked so real."

"Let's get you out of here, wouldn't want that lunatic coming back." says Nathan

As they come out of the mountains and reach the road, Jane asks, "Now go home safely."

"Home, yes home." says Sylvester

Seeing everyone have a questioning look Sylvester says, "I'm from out of town. I got enrolled in The New Science and Biology University. First year. Wanted to go hiking before joining but that thing ruined it."

Taking a sigh, Luke says, "That's our university. I'm third year, Sam, Nathan and Fallon are second year."

"Oh, that's great. I have friends before joining." says Sylvester happily

Smiling Luke says, "Yes, it's getting late. Let's go back before the warden closes the doors. Ellis, you Jane and the boys can go by yourself or.. "

Replying, Ellis says, "Need to ask, (fact that he's the ruler). Go on, you guys have Sylvester to take back safely. I'll drop the boys and Jane off. See you guys tomorrow. And remember we need to find out about them."

Smiling all take leave and reach their places.

As Ellis enters his home, Edward and Dorothy are waiting for him and Dorothy gets up and says, "Ellis, have time to eat with us, you've been busy lately."

Seeing Dorothy and Edward Ellis goes over and says, "Of course, any time."

"So, what have you been up too lately. No problems, right," says Edward

"Nothing I can't handle," says Ellis

"Ellis, you know I can read you no matter how much you try to hide, what's the matter son?" asks Dorothy

"Can I out-beat a vamp-wolf?" asks Ellis

Stunned Edward asks, "Encountered one?"

Ellis says, "Yes, so."

"Well, vamp-wolves are way stronger, faster, agile and highly intelligent than vampires and werewolves. For a vampire or a werewolf, I'd say no, but you. (Taking a deep breath) You are a cosmic vampire and have ruler blood. Your powers excel all beings, heaven-earth-underworld. But, as I said, they are highly intelligent, so you can't outwit them easily, that I know you deal with easily. But, when did you see one?"

"I haven't seen one in form but I have met a vamp-wolf girl. She's the transfer student at the college and she knows I'm a vampire, cosmic and ruler, I don't know, but vampire yes and she's giving the mate sense."

"Ellis, be careful. Vamp-wolves are cunning. They have the ability to read minds and telepathy too, be highly cautious." says Dorothy

"I will and you guys are here to catch me if I fall." says Ellis

"Ellis, you're the ruler. Rulers never fall. Keep your mind clear. There are some things that should never be done. For people we are myths, but we exist. But vamp-wolves are human made chaos, that we and werewolves had to accept as part of us. In reality, they hate both of us and want us abolished. This girl, coming for you, doesn't look good." says Edward

"Don't worry guys," says Ellis ``I no its no joke, but I'll never fall. More than my parents pride, I value your pride cause you raised me, I'll never let anyone or anything point fingers at you guys. As for this girl, it's time to put her at bay."

As the day rises, Ellis gets ready to go to college. As he comes outside he sees Sam is there. Seeing Sam, Ellis says, "Sam, what's up?"

A little tense Sam says, "There have been sightings of that thing you said at numerous places at same time, so it's more than one. Luke said to stay with you guys for safety."

"Your college?" asks Ellis

"I've taken a week's leave so no problem" says Sam

"OK let's go. My parents are already worried with one vamp-wolf, more will freak them out." says Ellis and gets into the car with Sam

On the way Ellis asks, "Sam, your university is for wolves, then that boy?"

Replying, Sam says, "Yes, the university is made for only wolves and to research on how to overcome silver attacks. But we are in the human world, so we have to enroll them."

"Don't they know then." asks Ellis

Smiling Sam says, "Yes, at times they do see. Thank god we have the ability to wipe fragments of memories so, that's what we do if anyone sees us. Ah, Ellis, you said vamp-wolf yesterday, what's that?"

"It's a hybrid of a vampire and werewolf. Back in the 100th century a crack human scientist combined a vampire and werewolf and made a vamp-wolf. From then on some started mating just for no reason and some became serious couples. Their offspring were vamp-wolves. Though neither side accepted them so they made their own world, and don't come in the way, till Lilian. That girl, Lilian, is a vamp-wolf, that's why she's after me. But does she know I'm cosmic, I don't know. But you guys have to be careful around them, they are highly powerful and you might not survive alone." says Ellis
