Is Patrick Being Abused

"Oh no, Ma'am is the future queen. I can never consider her my sister. I'm not a high status mermaid or of any rank. You said to call you by your name, I'm taking that as an order, but not in a friendly way. Please if the king found out, I'd be dead."

Taking a sigh Fallon says, "Aren't you taking this listen to the king thing a bit too far. Especially when he's going to be your father-in-law."

"OH! Wow, you're marrying the mermaid princess, just like in the Disney series." smiles Sandra

"Disney? What?" says Patrick

"Sandra, he's a mermaid who lives in the ocean. There are no TVs or cable networks down there, so keep the human fantasy world out of your conversation." says Luke

"Back to the point. Patrick, you should stand up. Back then also the way the king spoke to you, is totally wrong." says Fallon

"It's something I can't explain but now that you're home safely, I'll take leave. Hope to see you soon." says Patrick and leaves.

Ellis tells Sam to follow.

As Patrick reaches the rocks the king comes out. As Patrick goes forward the king slaps him and says, "Why are you so late. You know you're to protect the princess. That's the reason I'm getting you married to my daughter. Or else a no-one like you and my daughter. You're the best warrior and the only one who fought the slytherin and won. If the slytherin wasn't after my daughter I would never have chosen you. Now go and look after her." saying so the king pushes Patrick into the water and after a while jumps in as well.

"I have to go and tell Ellis asap." Sam says to himself.

After a while Sam reaches home. Seeing him Ellis says, "Hey, everything OK?"

"No, Joel, boys, Leonardo, boys. Has Fallon left?" says Sam

Ellis replies saying, "Yes, but why?"

"I'll tell him and Luke once I reach home but Ellis, boys listen up. When Patrick reached the rocks the king no the mermaid popped up and slapped Patrick for being late and told he's to protect the princess. And the only reason no-one like him is getting married to his daughter is cause he's the strongest warrior and beat the slytherin who's after his daughter. And actually pushed him into the water saying go and protect my daughter."

"If this is so, that king is messing with the wrong mermaid. Before whatever happened I don't care, but now he's our friend and no one messes with my friends." says Ellis "And, guys we need to find out why this slytherin is behind the princess. Leonardo you and the boys have dealt with the slytherin a lot of times, what do you think?"

Looking at Leonardo Gaby replies saying "The slytherins love powerful things. The cosmic castle has the gate to the gods, that's why they keep attacking and if I'm not wrong the ocean depths have a large natural water reservoir that belongs to the mermaids and that's where they live. Slytherins love natural water. They must want to take over that place."

"Oh, but how can we help Patrick?" asks Joel

"First we need to get Patrick's confidence and understand rulers are rulers but have no right in bullying or forcing someone." says Ellis "Oh, and another thing, we have to keep an eye on him. I'm certain it's more than a slap he's bearing."

"Don't worry Ellis." says Denver "One of us will always keep an eye on him. Oh and tomorrow going to college is important. So, after college we'll begin operation Patrick."

The next day Ellis, the boys, and Jane go to college. Lilian made a few passes at Ellis, but nothing out of the way. For some odd reason Ellis felt something was wrong but everyone he knew was fine. He even sent Orlando to check on Osmond, his uncle and aunts. They were fine then who or what?

As the boys come near the car, they see Patricia coming over. Ellis comes forward and says, "Patricia, what are you doing here? Should you come this far away from the water?"

Smiling Patricia says, "I can stay out of water for 45 hours. It's just been 3 hours. Don't worry about me. I actually came to invite you and the boys to our kingdom. And the future queen also. I hope she agrees to meet me. ('Why wouldn't she want to meet you? Asks Ellis) Well, she's a human so, meeting a mermaid."

"Human, how do you know she's a human? We never told…" says Denver

"Sorry I don't know you, but Patrick sensed when he shook hands." says Patricia

Stepping forward Ellis takes Jane in his arm and says, "Patricia, she is Jane, my life."

Patricia comes forward and bows saying, "Greetings my lady."

Jane says, "Please get up. You (Ellis presses Jane's hand so Jane changes her line as she was going to say she can call her by her name) you can get up please. And, it's my pleasure to meet you."

"Patricia, I can't guarantee cause your kingdom is under water. If it's possible, I'll definitely come."

"Oh! Great, then please, I'll take leave now." says Patricia and leaves.

"Ellis, something wrong." asks Jane

"There's a weird vibe around her today. Let's keep her at a formal distance from you. Boys, that was Patricia, the princess mermaid. Never let her alone near Jane."

"She's a mermaid, wow! And till now the only mermaid I knew was in the Disney series." says Joel

Denver asks "Ellis, is she good or bad?"

Replying, Ellis says, "Till yesterday, she was fine but today I'm not sure but something was wrong. Better safe than sorry. Boys, you also take care with her."

All get into the car and Joel drives off. On the way Denver says, "Hey guys let's go to the cafe. (looking at his phone and seeing it's Fallon) Maybe not (the boys and Jane look confused at him and Ellis asks 'What happened?") It's Fallon (he puts the phone on speaker). Hey Fallon, what's up. ('Guys I went to keep an eye on Patrick. The whole morning I didn't see anybody. Then maybe 3-4 hours back Patricia and Patrick both came out. Patrick insisted she should not go to meet Jane on her own but she slapped him and said to mind his own business. She left, I was going to call and tell, but she found me and got her goons to attack me. Patrick came to save me, the goons were no match for Patrick. After defeating them he threw each one in the ocean and made me to run. I ran and planned to run off but then she began yelling at Patrick so I stopped and what I saw shocked me. She was actually besting him with a cane or stick. He's really strong, no wonder he beat a slytherin by himself but why's he so miserable in her hands. We have to save him. He might be dead before he marries her. Ellis replies 'Fallon, it's me Ellis. Keep watching. If you think things are going out to hand, rescue him and bring him over to my house. I'll deal with them. But please be careful.' Fallon replies saying 'OK, I'll let you guys know if anything happens'.) [keeping his phone back in his pocket] OK, what was that.?"

Ellis replies saying, "According to what Patrick told and what I saw with Fallon and Leonardo that day, Patrick is chosen by the king to marry his daughter. But not as a husband but a bodyguard. He's the strongest warrior in them and has battled a slytherin alone saving Patricia. But, both king and Patricia don't consider him more than a servant. And that I'm going to change. I told Patrick he's my friend and I ain't letting anything happen to him. I have to go there."

Joel asks, "Ah, Ellis, he lives underwater. Can you go underwater without oxygen?"

"That's what I don't know. Have to go home and ask Edward about it." says Ellis

"Then why are we wasting time here, let's go home. The sooner Patrick gets saved the better." says Jane

Agreeing, Joel turns the car around and drives home.

As they enter Ellis runs quickly to Edwards room and knocks on the door and goes in.

Seeing Ellis, Edward says, "Ellis, a vampire, be him a cosmic vampire, is no different than a human in terms of water. You can swim, dive but stay underwater without oxygen. Sorry, that's not possible. Still, I've told Orlando to go home and find out if Lucifer or someone knows anything about this. But, is it important. You can say a blank no."

"I know, but for Patrick's safety, it's a must." says Ellis

"Ellis, you're the ruler." says Edward "There's nothing you have to do for others. You have a question, you're suspicious about something. You can ask for answer or clarification. If you don't get it, do what's right. With Patrick, it's better to get him away from there soon. We have a swimming pool. I'll arrange for fresh water to be filled so he can stay here safely."

Smiling Ellis says thanks and goes down.

"Why are you all standing? Says Ellis ('we're standing cause we're tense' says Clive) Edward says he's send Orlando to find out if there's a way for me to go underwater cause just like humans vampires need oxygen under water. He also said he'll arrange for fresh water in the swimming pool and we should bring him over soon."
