Ellis Befriends A Mermaid Boy

Leonardo was tired from the fighting so falls asleep instantly but Fallon takes time before he also sleeps. As the boys are sleeping the mermaid comes out of the water and rests on a rock.

As she looks at the sleeping boys she starts speaking to herself "God, if you were mermaids. I would have been the happiest mermaid in the waters. Though you three are no less, your precious boy is very unique. I can still feel his touch. It's so pure, like nature. Nature never harms you unless provoked by something."

Just then a male mermaid comes swimming and says, "Patricia, what are you doing here? (seeing the boys) And, when did you start capturing human boys?"

"They look human, but are not. They look soft and cute, but are strong warriors. Anyways, why did you come?"

"Your father is looking for you. He's told the guards to find and bring you home."

"Home, a place where you're safe, a place where your family lives, Home I do not have. (Taking a deep breath) I promised these boys I'd look out while they rest. Take care of them for me. If the water god's allow it, we'll meet again."

Patricia swims off into the waters and the boy sits on the rock to keep guard over the boys. Suddenly a vamp-wolf comes and growls really loudly. The boys wake up and see a big vamp-wolf standing on the high rocks and instead of the girl mermaid a boy mermaid.

Fallon gets up and says "What's going on?"

Seeing the vamp-wolf the boys leaps in and out of the water. On coming out of the water he's transformed into a boy. He rushes towards the boys and says "Stay back. Patricia left you in my care. I won't let this beast get you."

As the vamp-wolf jumps to attack the boy gets hold of its fists and says, "Damn, you're a female. You know it's against my ethics to fight a female but I can't let Patricia down so sorry but you're gonna have to go." And he gives the vamp-wolf a strong push against the rocks. As it jumps back, he jumps onto a high rock. The vamp-wolf also follows. "OK, now it's over. (and the boys leapt into the water. Just when the boys thought he had fled, he came out standing on the water. He raises his hands and a big tide rises behind him and he rides on top of it and raises his right hand and a sword appears in his hand. He jumps from the tide and lands on the rock with his sword placed on her neck). So gonna Scram or you want your neck taken off. Oh, by the way, the blade is made of silver."

The vamp-wolf backs off and runs into the high rocks. Seeing it's gone the boy raises his hand and as he lowers it slowly the tide also lowers down till it's back to normal.

Going over to the boys, "Are you all OK? By the way, I'm Patrick."

Fallon replies saying "Yes, and wow you were amazing. And, you have legs and you're a male."

Smiling Patrick says "Yes, if needed we can transform into humans. As for male, there wouldn't be more of us if both didn't co-exist. And, you guys are, not humans for sure, so?"

Ellis was about to answer but Fallon stops and says "I'm a werewolf, he's a vampire and he's a celestial being. ('Celestial being, what's that? Asks Patrick) ``He's from the heavens."

Just then Patricia appears. As she leaps out, she also transforms into a girl. Behind her a mermaid appears and leaps out transforming into a strong built man. Seeing him Patrick instantly goes forward and bows down on one knee. The man comes forward and says "Patrick, you can get up. I sense fear here."

"Yes, a vamp-wolf tried to attack and …"

"You took care of it I presume. Good. And Patricia, who is the soul you talked about? (pointing towards Ellis Patricia says 'it's him father's) So, you are the boy. (Patricia's father greets Ellis so Ellis also shakes hands. As Ellis's hand touches the mermaids, his royal symbol shines on his hand. Seeing the royal cosmic symbol the mermaid bows down. Seeing him both Patricia and Patrick also bow down.) I never thought I would get to see the cosmic ruler in front of me."

Looking at them Ellis says "Please get up. You're the mermaid king. You shouldn't bow down. ('I'm only the king of the mermaids but you are the ruler of the three dimensions. It's an honor to meet you. [bringing his daughter in front] This is my only child Patricia and Patrick is her chosen husband. {the boys get confused on hearing he is her chosen husband} Their wedding is arranged for the next weekend. It would be an honor if you and your friends would grace the occasion and give your blessings.') Ah, if it's possible we'll be there. (Ellis introduces his friends) Please meet Fallon, he's a werewolf from the northeast clan and he is Leonardo, leader of my bodyguard force. (both boys bow in respect)."

"Oh, please don't. Ellis considers you as his friends so please it's a privilege to meet you." says the mermaid king "For now please I must take my leave as I have some duties to attend. Patricia you must go to your uncle's and Patrick, ensure Ellis and his friends reach home safely. If anything happens to them you know the consequences. (looking at the boys) OK I must leave."

He and Patricia bow down and the king leaps into the water. Before jumping into the water Patricia says, "Ellis, it's really an honor to meet you and Patrick take care, I don't want father getting angry. Bye bye."

Patricia also disappears into the water.

"OK, now that was weird," says Fallon

"Weird, are you his son-in-law or what?" asks Ellis while Leonardo just looks on.

Seeing Leonardo Ellis says "Don't mind him. He's a celestial being and has only lived fighting to protect. His lessons are going on. Today he's learned to not see me as a kid. I can fight alongside. ('Ellis, protecting you is my duty and priority. It's the reason I've been created for.' says Leonardo) Yes and now you do as I say. We are friends and friends stay together. (seeing them Patrick smiles) OH, so you can smile, do it often it suits you."

Then Fallon says, "Ah, I think we all want to know what the king meant by chosen to be husband and what consequences he is talking about. You're his son-in-law, is that how you talk to him?"

Replying Patrick says, "Chosen as in our marriage is not decided by both parents or that we love each other. But the king has chosen me to be his daughters husband or rather personal bodyguard because she's always under attack for being the crown princess and I'm the best warrior so that's it. And, as for consequences, well he's the king who gave an order and Ellis is the ruler of the three dimensions so obviously if I screw protecting Ellis, I'll be punished."

Leonardo says, "Patrick, I'm a fighter and that's all I know. Family, friends, emotions, I don't know about this stuff but I care about the boy's I lead in the force. How can you be so calm when telling that stuff?"

Smiling Patrick says, "When your destiny isn't in your hands, it's better to accept it."

Hearing Patrick, Ellis says "No one has has rights to rule someone else's destiny. Patrick, the king doesn't own you. You're a strong warrior, he should be proud for choosing you."

"No offence, but facts don't change overnight. Anyways I should take you guys home or else I'll be in trouble. So, please lead on. I'm right behind to see you reach home safely."

Seeing it's a dead end in talking Ellis decides to go home. Fallon and Leonardo follow with Patrick behind. After a while they finally reach Ellis's home. Seeing they have arrived Patrick says, "Please, Ellis, you and your friends go inside and I'll be off."

"Without coming in, is that possible?" says Ellis

"My duty was to make sure you reach home and…" Patrick stops all of a sudden

"Brother, you're back and god you look worse than Devon. (smiling) No problem, I'll take care of you. (looking at Patrick) Oh, hi (taking his hand). Oh, your cold too, Vampire, no problem I'll take care of you also. Let's go inside."

"And, you are?" asks Patrick

Ellis puts his arm around her and says, "Sandra is the northeastern pack alpha Luke's younger sister. And, mine as well. Are you going to not listen to the rulers and alphas sister?"

Remembering what the king will do he says yes to go inside.

As they enter, Ellis introduces Patrick to everyone saying "Patrick, my parents (points towards Edward and Dorothy), my brothers Clive, Joel, and Denver. They're humans. Luke, the alpha, my buddy. Sam and Fallon, my friends. Sandra, you've already met. Leonardo, the leader, Gaby, Joshua, Chris, Devon, and Jewel, part of my so-called bodyguard force, my friends whom I have to teach how to express, and everyone, my new friend Patrick. He's a mermaid. ('What' says Jane coming down the stairs.) Hey, where were you? Patrick she's my life and Jane, Patrick…"

Replying, Jane says, "Our friend. It's a pleasure to meet you (Jane offers a handshake)."

Confused Patrick asks, "Your life as in… ('As in future wife's says Joel smiling) [bowing down] Oh, it's my pleasure to meet you ma'am."

"Ma'am" says Ellis amazed "Great, got another friend to teach. God (looking at the celestial boys) there's so much to teach you guys. Patrick, you're my friend and she's my future wife so, she's your sister-in-law not ma'am, OK."
