We wanted a teacher to recommend so I asked many others and all rejected. At last I got the new physics sir on board. I was so grateful that he agreed to talk with the principal. To be honest he is the best male teacher that I ever met. He went and had a chat with the principal despite being a new teacher who came to school just two months ago. And to the surprise Principal Madam said okay and granted permission to keep the science day. "I talked with Principal Madam and she was almost okay. I think you better to a small proposal and take it to the Principal. I think she will say okay." I was over the moon. He came as a savior in a deserted island.

I took an apple green A4 paper for the cover because it is the color that I chose for it and filed the rest with white A4 papers. I wrote the budget, proposal names of the committee and events we are going to have on the day and competitions that will be held. I, Zarina and Sally went to the principal office after the school was over. We even had second thoughts. Sally said "We will give it a shot. If it did not work, it is okay and if we are going to hear some, we will listen to them together. We should not regret that we did not do." We gulped our fear and excused Principal Madam and went on to the office room. "Good Afternoon madam." She nodded in return, placed her both hands on the desk looking at us and wait till we explain why we have come to meet her. "Madam, it is about having a science day. We made a small proposal, you can check it and if you like our concept and ideas then please sign at the back of the page." She just went through and did not even bother to look at it thoroughly. She signed off after checking with the budget. Before handing over the proposal she asked "Why is the Sectional head signature not there?" I came replied "It is because sir said that he will only sign after you sign." She nodded and said okay and gave the proposal. We were shocked that it went so smooth. She seems like to be in good mood. We came out of the principal office and looked at each other's faces and laughed.

We took the proposal and went to our Sectional head who is our physics sir and gave the proposal and told him to sign. He was shocked that we got the permission. He thought it will never happen. He signed and asked how. We told him that the other physics sir helped us. Now he told us to get an In-charge teacher. We nodded but he stopped us. "How did you all appoint the positions?" "It is our wish and also we are the ones who went and asked Principal Madam." He smiled and said "You do not want Jessica and their team to come?" I replied honestly and I have told him already, "I do not want them to be in this day. We want to do. We want to show that we can do it also." We had already told him in the first place when we pleaded for him to get to ask from the principal to do the science day.

First is that I asked from the new physics sir who helped us out. Strangely he rejected. His eyes spoke something. And also he constantly left the conversation when we mentioned the science day. There was definitely something going on. Afterwards I went to the old teachers. And all of them said no. Then we came to our most trusted teacher Mrs. Beth and she also rejected. Lastly we landed with our chemistry teacher and it is physics sir who told to ask her. I did not know that I was about to regret.

I came home happy and told my mother about it. And she said that she will help with everything. And I think you are wondering why I am still hanging around Zarina. I forgave her from my heart not because I knew she lied that the manager said it but because I believed in her. I let go of it. May be I should have it was my mother. I just was too blind to see that she was lying over the limit.

Today the Jessica's team did not come and I planned that we should keep the meeting and form the committee as in our bucket list. Physics sir, Mr. J. J. Fortune was highly against it. Seemed like he and another plan. According to our physics sir the other streams (Commerce and Arts) teachers were so furious that the Principal Madam let us only do the day. It was fair because we did not do for almost three to four years. And they did every year except for this year. I compelled sir and he said no. "Then sir if they did not come tomorrow also then you have to keep it sir." he nodded. I thought that they will come tomorrow because they usually come on Fridays and Mondays.

They did not come today but the other nerds came and I was nervous. I remaindered sir and he at last kept the meeting to appoint the committee. I was watching him and he was pretending to be too responsible and also he acted as if he got the permission. I let it go. The new physics sir was running away from the meeting. I really wanted him to be in the team and he also wanted to be but the situation had switched.

The meeting started. I got the president as we wished. And slowly we appointed all. I was shouted at also for proposing names after being appointed as the president because one of the ordinary level science sir told that ones who are appointed to a position cannot propose others names. He was rude like really. I know that I had fault but he was really rude and he was like really against me. I could smell hatred from him for no reason.

We were so happy with the results. It came as we wished and I was taken aback by the calmness of our classmates. I could tell that Mr. J. J. Fortune was not that happy. But when the meeting was dismissed, he smiled and said that you are happy that it went your way. Now thinking back he meant in a sarcastic way.

After the meeting was over. I went over to the new physics sir and spoke to him. He was terrified and he was watching over the window to see if Mr. J. J. Fortune was coming or not. "What is wrong sir? Why are you scared and why did you not speak in the meeting. And also you were sitting at the back." He hung his neck and said, "No dear I am new and I think it would not be so good to take a position as soon as I had come in. There are seniors here even though I am the eldest." I nodded and he wished me luck and I left. Something was definitely fishy. I went over to the other science class where he teaches and asked them did they knew something. And they knew what had happened. Sir has told them about it. It turns out that Mr. J. J. Fortune has scolded him for poking his nose in the science day and talking down on him. He is now running away from Mr. J. J. Fortune.

I did not take this as a red flag rather I took it as a no flag.
