Chapter 8

Vega, a planet like Earth, is overtaken by monsters called Graves. Ranging in many different shapes and sizes, they terrorized and drove humankind into domes scattered across the world. After living with their fears of the unknown monsters for hundreds of years in the domes, mankind finally devised a way fight back, possibly destroying the Graves. They named it the Reaper's Initiative. This gave compatible people the strength, speed, and endurance to rival the Graves' unnatural strength and speed. And, for some, it gave them supernatural powers, unique to the person. Together, these special people made the organization, Reapers. Mankind's first and last hope.

Halloween Eve, A girl named Rana Dracu arrived at the Reapers' Academy, as a part of the 50th class. Here, she and her classmates will be taught, trained, and deployed to fight against the Graves. Upon their arrival, each student receives a weapon based on their abilities and compatibility rates with their powers. Unfortunately, Rana was abnormal. She was given a miniscule weapon, making her the laughingstock of the academy.

That night, hordes of Graves made its way inside the dome, resulting every Reapers, new and old, were deployed in four-man squads throughout the dome to handle the situation.

"So, how are going to handle this?" One of the reapers, running with Rana, asked.

"No idea. We're going up against something that induces fear into you just by looking. Plus, we, four, are a make-shift team composed of low compatibility rates Reapers. This is basically a suicide mission." The only male reaper in the group said, bluntly.

"Wow, you have an excellent motivation skill… Uh

"Ren, Ren Tomogiri, but you can call me Ren."

"Ren, huh. I'm Katie… Katie Vanders. Call me Kate."

"Introductions while running to our deaths, huh," Rana thought to herself.

"Apparently," A voice said inside Rana's head.

"What?!" Rana yelled as she and others stopped.

"So, sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I'm can't really control my telepathy powers. I'm Judy Mayvers." Another girl with glasses said.

"Oh, it's okay, I'm Rana Dracu."

"What? Dracu? As in the legendary family who created in the Reaper program. "

"The same Dracu family that has high compatibility rates Reapers."

"Yeah, I'm a part of the that family. And before you say it, the rumors you heard are true. I'm the laughingstock of the academy."

"Laughingstock? Right, the abnormal with the minuscule weapon," Katie said.

"Yep, go ahead. Laugh your lungs out. Everyone else does it, why wouldn't you three?" Rana said as she snapped at them.

"Why would we laugh at you for being different?" Judy asked.

"Yeah, the Reaper program made all of its recipients different in their own unique way." Ren said.

Everybody looked at Ren with shocked expressions.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing we just didn't expect you to say something so accurate and sensible."

"Yeah. All you were missing was something about friendship and it would've been the perfect death flag you see in those stories." Katie said. Everybody laughed.

"Stop goofing around and report to your stations, Theta squad! Double time!" Their commander yelled into their communicators.

"Sir!" They all yelled as they ran toward the battlefield, out of fear for their commander.

As they arrived, thousands of Graves were feasting on the bodies of the citizens they'd killed, in which creating more of them. Scared for their lives, Rana and the others stood completely still, trying to avoid being seen. Suddenly, A voice echoed in Rana's head.

"What are you doing, fool? Don't cower to such mindless beast. Fight!"

Blindly following the advice in her head, Rana charged into the horde, knowing she couldn't with her minuscule weapon. Inspired by her stupidity, Katie and others charged after her to help. Luckily, they were able to work well together despite the difference they had. Katie wielding a giant scythe, which is common among the Reapers. The user of this weapon usually takes the Vanguard position, meaning they're responsible for destroying as many Graves as possible while their team supports them from behind. Ren and Judy, both, has alternating-type weapons. This means that their weapons can alter its size and shape based on its wielder's compatibility rates and will. The higher they are, the more forms and abilities their weapons possess. Using this to their advantage, the users of these weapons fight the Graves the Vanguards might've missed. However, Ren and Judy have low compatibility rates, so the most their weapons can transform into are snake blades (swords that have extremely flexible and growing blades) and small dual guns, limiting the amount they can do.

After three hours, almost all the Graves were destroyed. However, that changed when they felt it. A cold pressure that froze the ground underneath them. They looked at the very back of the hordes and saw it. A large, rotten body with blood and guts spilling from its mouths. This is called a Grave General, a stronger version of Graves. These usually stay hidden amongst the graves feeding, but this one was different.

"Uh… does anybody have a plan for this situation?" Ren asked as fear began taking over him. However, no one else answered out of fear of getting spotted by the grave general.

"How many times do I have to say it? Stop cowering in front of the weak, mindless beast." The voice echoed in Rana's head, releasing her from the pressure of the Grave general. Confused, Rana looked for the owner of the voice. However, everyone was too afraid to stand, let alone talk. "Stop looking around. If you don't act now, you'll die before you'll know it."

"Now, I must be going crazy. This piece of junk in my hand.

"Junk! We're not junk."

"Yeah, We're the most powerful weapon in the omniverse. We're the original Reaper's weapon." It yelled inside Rana's head.

"Oh, okay," Rana said condescendingly.

Irritated, the weapon liquidized and crawled up Rana's body, causing her to scream. Unfortunately, Rana's screaming and squirming got the attention of the Grave general, causing it to pounce on her as the liquid entered her mouth. Infusing with her DNA, Rana felt a surge of energy flowing into her body.

"Woah, this is amazing. Everything is moving so slowly." Rana said as she held the Grave general by it bloody mouth.

"Of course. You're no longer bounded by those pathetic limits humans put on themselves. You're a part of a long line of Reapers. A being that transcends life and death."

Rana, then, lifted the General grave off the ground a little and threw it up into the air. Summoning a long, flaming chain to her hand, Rana's appearance changed. She had black flaming hair that matched the flaming aura surrounding her body. Her eyes changed from light brown to crimson red. She, then, twirled one end of the chain rapidly before throwing it towards the Grave, and wrapped it.

"Back to where you belong!" Rana said, subconsciously, swinging the grave around in circles before pulling the chain down, destroying the Grave general. Dissipating the flaming chain from her hand, Rana looked at her hand with shock. "I can't believe I just did that. Is this the full extent of your power?"

"Of course not. You only scratched the surface of your powers." The voice said.

"So, am I going to be hearing voices for the rest of my life?" Rana asked.

"Yeah. We're a part of you like your powers. But don't worry we won't be too annoying."

"Great," Rana said, sarcastically.

Meanwhile, back on earth in Avery's dimension, everything was chaotic. Many people, who was still suffering from the Demon/Angel War, became major criminals. Some gained abilities and used them to become the world-renowned crime bosses. While the others became small-time workers for these crime bosses, who treats them like fodder. Sadly, the superhero organization, Central, was too spread thin, due to the restoration of the other countries and the constant lives being lost. They couldn't spare any manpower unless it was an important event. However, there was somebody who was fighting these criminals.

"Ms. Lucrada, are you with us? Or, are you going to sleep all my class?" A man said as he tapped on a girl's desk. Immediately, the girl jumped up, scaredy. "Glad you can join us in the world of the living. Especially since the next question is for you. What world-changing event created the first superhero?"

"Uh, World War 1. It created the first superhero was Sentry." The girl said.

"Good guess. Now start paying attention or I'm calling your mother."

"Yes sir," the girl said before the bell rang. Immediately, everybody got their notes together and walk out the class.

"Remember to read page 193 to 219 tonight. There will be a quiz tomorrow." He shouted.

"Great," The girl sighed as she gotten up to leave out the door.

"Alex, wait up!" the boy yelled following her out the door.

"Sup, Alex. Where you're going?" A big girl said, blocking their path.

"What do you want, Joan?" Alex sighed.

"Aw, don't be like that? I came by to collect the money I told you about yesterday."

"Oh, you mean the leave me alone fee. Yeah, I didn't see it fit to bring with me. Instead, I'm going to give you the opportunity to change your ways and stop being the bully. Or, you'll going regret it."

Joan laughed almost instantly. Annoyed, Alex punched Joan down the hall.

"See, I tried to give you the opportunity to stop being the arrogant bully and be a nice girl. But you chose to aggravate me."

"Alexia Exis Lucrada! That enough!" Sydney yelled.

"Great, you've been saved." Alex said as calmed down.

"Come here," Sydney said. Walking slowly to Sydney, Alex predicted the thousands of things Sydney was going to say. "Have you lost your mind, young lady? You can't use your powers against a regular person. You can seriously hurt someone or worst."

"I wasn't going to kill her. I held back a lot."

"That's not the point, little girl. Do you have any idea on how destructive your powers can be?"

"Something tells me that you had this conversation with Mom when she was my age. No wonder she left earth."

Sydney slapped Alex. "You don't have the right to say that. Your mother left earth because she was afraid of her powers, She didn't want to hurt anyone."

"Really, you're going to lie to me. You know I have an ability similar to BSD. Lying to me is like lying to the world most powerful lie detector." Alex said with smug look.

"That's not the po-

Suddenly, every phone sounds with a notification. "Looks like you should be lecturing the heroes of Central, not me. Or should I call them Social Justice. "

Sydney immediately grabbed her phone and called Valkyrie. "Valkyrie! What the hell is going?" She yelled as she Valkyrie.

"Syd, I know you're mad, but can we talk later? I'm with a client." Valkyrie said.

"No, we're talking about this now. Alex and I are on the… *sigh* that little girl is too much like her mother." Sydney said after realizing Alex disappeared. "I'll get back to you in a minute. I gotta find Alex." Sydney said on the phone before hanging it up.

"Now, where did my granddaughter go? God, I'm a grandmother. Why'd she do this to me?" She thought to herself as activated an app on her phone.

Flying over the city, Alex looks at her phone. "*sigh* Man, I can't believe mom left me here while she's probably having fun in another dimension. Okay, maybe not. She's probably in some big trouble dealing with some big world-ending villain. Meanwhile, I'm here bored out of my mind in a school meant for idiotic, hormone-crazed teenage bullies." She thought to herself.

"Mayday! Mayday! Space Shuttle 9789 is entering the atmosphere too hot! We can't slow down! We need assistance!" Alex heard.

Immediately, Alex rushed to the space shuttle. As she was about to intercept the space shuttle, she seen two people, a man and woman wearing armored suits, failing to stop the shuttle. Alex activated her ring , spreading a red and black cloth-like metal across her body. Her hair transformed from black to red and white. Flying to the space shuttle, she took a deep breath and blew out the flames coming from the shuttle's engines. Then, she got under the shuttle and leveled it off with ease. Confused, the woman floated below the shuttle to see who caught it.

"Who are you?" The woman asked.

"Uhm, I'm…

"Xanis… aka Avery Satin. Public enemy number one."

"What! Why would my…

"Freeze, Avery Satin, you're under arrest." the first one said.

"Really? Can you at least wait until we get this on the ground? Or do you want to carry this two-thousand-ton space shuttle while I fly away." Alex said, sarcastically.

"Alright, but don't try anything funny." The man said.

"Alright," Alex said as she dropped out of the sky. As she arrived at the ground, outside of the city, Alex used her telekinesis to slowly lower the shuttle. Then, she landed in front of the door and ripped it off, releasing the crew. "Is everyone alright?"

"Yes, we're all alive thanks to you, Avery." one of the crew members said.

"Oh no, I'm not who you think I am. I'm Alexia Lucrada, her daughter." Alex explained, shocking everyone.

"Oh, did anyone tell you look exactly like her." Another member of the crew said.

"No, that's the first time I heard someone say that." Alex answered.

"Enough! Alexia Lucrada, you're under arrest for violating the superhero registration act. Now come with us quietly." the man said as he extended his arm.

Alexia laughed and said "I'm sorry, but I'm not going with you." She, then, took off into the sky.

"Come back here!" He yelled as he went after her.

"Uh, good day citizens." The woman said before taking off after those two.

Flying passed social justice new headquarters, Alex flew down towards the ground and quickly flew inches above the ground, hoping they would crash. However, instead of crashing into the ground, the man drilled into the ground and followed Alex, creating making a small tunnel. Thinking she lost them, Alex stopped and looked behind her. After seeing nobody for a couple miles, Alex, then, landed and sat down. However, she didn't notice a small needle under her hand.

"Ow! Crap, that hu… Alexia suddenly falls unconscious.

Then, the man, who was still underground, rose out the ground. "Priority Target number 2 has just been captured. Headed back to for processing." He said into his earpiece.

"Rodger that, Technix. Report back to HQ as soon as possible with PT2. We can use her as bait."

"Rodger, on my way." Technix said as he shot a light beam at Alex, encasing her in a light barrier.

"Excuse me, Human. I was following the power signature of a suitable mate for me, which led me to this little girl. I was hoping you could let her go without any trouble." A man wearing a gray skin-tight jumpsuit with a skirt.

"No! I'm taking her back to SJ's Headqua… The man punched Tech-nix into the ground.

"I told you without any trouble." He said as he grabbed Alex. "She's only a child. Well, Beggars can't be choosers." He said before taking off into the sky.

Meanwhile, Valkyrie and Sydney are sitting in her office.

"So, how you've been? You know since your last session." Valkyrie said.

"Well, where should I start? The me getting a granddaughter who acts just like her mother or my best friend not telling me she and the other superheroes are revealing to the world their secret identities. Not to mention, the information that DERAD worked so hard to keep from prying eyes. Or maybe I'm still worried about my husband who still on earth somewhere preparing for a massive invasion he's a part of. In which, we have no way of protecting ourselves from since the demons and angels invaded. And our only hope against them is somewhere only gods knows, fighting there because she doesn't want to be around me."

"So, horribly. Well, in my defense I was out of the loop in the revealing top-secret information too. That was something that Ron and John agreed to without my say. And, you know that… Wait, did you say granddaughter? Praise the god's counsel! Syd, how is having a granddaughter a bad thing?"

"It's a problem when you have no idea on how she became to be. Avery does have a girlfriend, but last time I checked two women can't have a child together."

"Well, there's a lot we don't know about Avery and her physiology, let alone her alien girlfriend's." Valkyrie said.

"That's the problem. She's my daughter and I don't know a single thing about her."

"Well, isn't that your fa… I mean you neglected he… How about you try an exercise I learned centuries ago?"

"No! I came here to talk about you and Social Justice. First, Social Justice? Really?"

"Like I said, I wasn't there when they decided to change the name from Central to Social Justice. I would've suggested something way better. Secondly, you're evading the important conversation that you need to have or else your relationship won't recover." Valkyrie said concernedly.

Sydney sighed. "Alright, what's the exercise?"

"All I want you to do is close your eyes and calm yourself. I'll do the rest." Valkyrie said as she summoned small flames around her and Sydney.

"God, I hate magic." Sydney thought as she followed Valkyrie's instructions.

"Erahs yht dinm, yendys (Share thy mind, Sydney)" Valkyrie said as her eyes glowed. Suddenly, an alarm sounds, and a screen appears in front of her.

"What's wrong." Sydney asked, worriedly.

"Feral is breaking into a bank in Baton Rouge, LA." Valkyrie replied.

"Why are you getting crime alerts from Alpha Woman and her sidekick's territory." Sydney said.

"Well, the meeting did more than just change the name of the superhero community. Many of us didn't agree to the idea of revealing their secret identities to the entire world. Many of us quit including myself."

"What! Why?"

"Well, I couldn't agree to their tactics any longer. They've made your daughter public enemy number one. Made it seem like she's the reason for the apocalyptic events that happened. They even had the gall to get the science and mystics departments of Central to find a contingency against her."

"What! What do you mean "Contingency?"

"I don't know. They didn't feel the need to tell me since they had their doubts in me."

Sydney looked at Valkyrie with a confused expression. "They had their doubts about you. 'The Maiden of Honor and Truth.' The literal 'Goddess of Justice.' You? Your fellow superheroes, who you fought beside for many years, think you can't be trusted?"

"Well, ever since the Kaiju invasion, I questioned their methods of handling huge crisis events. And I guess I made myself a pariah among them."

"Hmph, I'm surprised. I thought everybody in Central was like a family that trust one another."

"No, that was DERAD's old slogan."

They both laughed.

"So, what do we do now?"

"What do you mean?" Valkyrie asked, confused.

"Feral? No one can handle Feral besides you and Alpha. You must help." Sydney said.

"You know Avery right. You are annoying when you ask for something impossible. Odin help your granddaughter." Valkyrie said as she pushes a button on the holographic, which opened wall that hid her spare costume.

"Right, I forgot she took off before I came here. I need to track her. Can I track her using you system?"

"Sure, let me know if you need help." Valkyrie said as she got undress.

"Thanks," Sydney said as she walked over to a computer. She, then, plugged her phone into Valkyrie's computer and logged in to her system. Activating her tracking system, Sydney looked for traces of Avery's power signature. Fortunately, it was able to find traces of Avery, and she knew it was Alex. However, it readings were coming from the upper atmosphere and leaving Earth. "Valkyrie, I going to need your help."

Meanwhile back in the other dimension, Rana and the others were confronted by her older half-sister and her team, which was named Sigma. They're called that because they were the elites of the Reapers. Unfortunately, they didn't act like it. They were arrogant, obnoxious jerks who abused their power and status.

"Hey, boss, I think your sister and her friends needs to learn a lesson to respect their superiors." A boy, named Virgil Adams, said.

"What are you talking about? I have no sister. She's the daughter of some whore my father slept with. In my eyes, she nothing but a weakling." Maria Dracul, Rana's older half-sister, said.

"Wow, Mari. You're so cold. At least acknowledge her," A girl, named Amy Freeze, said.

"You don't know anything, Amy. That's girl's mother seduced my father and convinced him to abandon my mother on the streets!" Maria yelled. Virgil and Amy went silent. "Exactly. Now you know why I loathe her and her mother. But I am glad that you survived the Graves' attack. Now I can destroy your slut-blood, personally."

Suddenly, Rana attacked Maria, but Maria blocked the attack, causing a large shockwave that knocked back everyone except Rana and Maria.

"As expected of the Dracul bloodline. Even a bastard like you can produce this kind of power. Too bad you won't be able to use that power for the greater good." Maria said as she released her Reaper's aura.

A reaper's aura is a tool that reapers use for both intimidation and combat scenarios. And, like Reapers' weapons varies, so does their auras. Sadly, Rana's reaper aura was registered as the weakest in the academy. However, thanks to Rana's recent change, she wasn't affected like the others.

"Huh, you've surprised me. No one has ever survived this long against my aura."

"I guess that mean your just getting weaker. You are getting up there in age." Rana said.

"You bitch!" Maria yelled as she summoned her weapon, a giant scythe, and channeled her reaper's aura into it. She, then, slashed at Rana, but jumped back. "What was that? Did I feel a relapse of death?" Maria thought to herself.

"What's wrong, Sis? Scared?" Rana said as she radiated a deadly aura. She, then, summoned a long, skinny sword. "I been wanting to do for a long time." Rana said as her eyes glowed red.

"Enough, Rana. Stop!" Ren said as he and the others tried to stop her. Sadly, they struggled to hold her back as she slowly walked to Maria.

"What are you?"

"I'm the Reaper." Rana said with a distorted voice while raising her sword.

"ENOUGH CADETS! Commander Dracul on scene!" A man yelled.

A man walks into the room with an aura radiating an overwhelming pressure. This man is the sixth head of the Dracul family, Maria's and Rana's father, Addius Dracul. He is one of the strongest reapers in world, who loves what he does for the Reapers organization.

"Is this how my daughters are supposed to act? I expected better from the heiresses of my bloodline." He said.

"Father," Rana and Maria said as Rana's sword disappeared.

"Rana, my office. NOW!" He said.

She sighed and walked off, annoyed.

"Now, Marie, care to explain."

"I don't know, father. I was just trying to be friendly to my sister and she attacked me." She said, innocently.

"That's bu-

"Don't! Whatever you do, don't get into a conversation that involving two Dracul. Let's just go. I'm sure Rana needs us." Katie said interrupting Judy. Taking her advice, Judy sighed and walked away.

Meanwhile, far from the domes, a portal opens right above the ground, and Avery and a woman lands underneath it.

"We've arrived." Avery said.

"Good, now I can finally punch something." The woman said as she stretched.

"We're not doing any unnecessary f_

"Kidding. I know we're here for important reasons. How are you Reo's daughter? You have no sense of humor." The woman said interrupted.

"Hey! I have a sense of humor. It just not the same kind of humor. I'm more into dark jokes."

"Oh, me too. Do you have any in mind?" She said.

"I don't think now is the time for jokes. We need to find a place to set up base while we're here in the dimension." Avery said.

"Wow, you're so serious. Kinda reminds of Anko. So, strong, serious, demanding." The woman said as if she was in a lustful trance.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"Yeah, just missing my dear Reo and Anko." She said.

"Speaking of which, they never introduced you. What's your relationship to them?"

"Oh, right. We were going to do that before you were placed in inside that training box. Anyway, I'm Zara Lucrada, ninth queen of the Jan-gu."

"So, you're my… wait ninth? You mean to tell me Reo has nine wives! And you all okay with that."

"Well, of course. We all love each other the same and that will never change. Plus, Reo is … never mind I don't think I should share that specific detail. Especially, to our daughter who hasn't even broken her thirty thousand years mark."

"Thank you for that. So, you're my ninth mother. Glad to meet you." Avery said as scanned the area using her spectrum vision.

"Like wise. I hope we can get along. I haven't had the best of luck with the other kids."

"Huh, why?"

"I don't want to talk about it. How's the search going?" Zara said.

"Ooookay" Avery thought to herself. "Not good. I was looking for any sign of life nearby, but there isn't any for miles. Just a bunch of undead creatures."

"Well, if the Reaper is going to be born here, they'll need a way to practice and hone their powers, like you needed to. Not to mention, themselves. The universes have ways of making things work out like they do."

"You sound like you had some experience in that field."

"Yeah, but that's another story for another time."

Suddenly, Avery and Zara felt a large deadly pressure rushing at them. Not wanting to draw attention, they both ran away quickly.

"At least you're not too reckless. Reo and Anko probably would've stayed to fight that thing." Zara said.

"Well, I probably would've if I didn't want to attract any unnecessary attention."

"How are you three related?" Zara thought to herself as they continue to run.

Meanwhile, on a spaceship, Alexia wakes up in an open cell with a sleeping teenage girl dressed in black skintight suit. Dazed, she tried to walk out the cell, but there was an electrified invisible barrier keeping them in, which was powerful enough to electrocute anyone with the slightest touch. Luckily, Alexia wasn't like everyone else.

"Oh, you're awake. And here I thought you were going to be like the others and stay asleep until we've arrived. I'm glad I made the right decision for my mate. Your powers will be a great addition to my race." The man, who kidnapped her, said.

"What do you want me and these othe… wait, did you say mate?"

The man nodded.

"Oh no. I'm not going to be your mate. I would rate die." She said as she punched the barrier with all her strength. However, the barrier was able to absorb and strengthen itself.

"You might as well give up. Our technology is more advanced and stronger than any of your planet's technology. Try all you want, but that barrier won't break no matter what." He said as he walked away.

Not stopping, Alexia continued to punch to the barrier, causing the teenage girl to wake up.

"Ugh, what happened? I feel like I got hit with a truck." She said. However, Alexia wasn't paying attention and continued to strike the barrier as hard as she could.

"Ahhhh," Alexia yelled out.

"Hey, calm down. You won't be able to break that with just brute force." The girl said. Knowing she was right, Alexia stopped and calmed herself down.

"You're right. I'm sorry. I'm not usually the brutish type." Alexia said.

"It's alright. We all know that the all-powerful Avery Satin will get us out of here." The girl said.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not my mother. And she's currently not in this dimension to help us. We're on our own." Alexia said.

"She was kidnapped by an alien, and you didn't think you should have contacted me. What kind of sorry excuse is that?" Sydney yelled at Neuron, Atomic Master, and Tech-nix.

"Now, Sydney. I know you're upset but you need to

"Upset? UPSET! You think I'm UPSET! I'm way passed upset. I'm FURIOUS! First, you release highly confidential secrets of DERAD to the public years after the demon's invasion, causing the collapse of the world's governments. In which, some are still trying to recover."

"In our defense, w-

"Then, you made my daughter, who saved humanity and the planet more times than you ever have, into public enemy number one. Making sure she can never come back to Earth without being targeted. I mean seriously. Blaming her for everything that happened since she came out as a hero back when the Kaiju invaded."

"Yes, she was a-

"So, help me, Neuron, if you interrupt me one more time… no being on this earth will be able to protect you from me." Sydney said, angrier than she already is.

Neuron sat there in silence.

"Good, now, back to the matter at hand. You tried to arrest my granddaughter and failed because some powerful alien who threw you into the ground."

Tech-nix nodded.

"And you did this after she rescued a spaceship from crashing, which could've killed thousands including the crew."

Tech-nix nodded again, but this time he felt a little more guilt.

"Glad to see your definition of threat." Sydney making a snide remark.

"Okay, enough. Your daughter is the world's most dangerous threat. We have no way of determining her limits and her weakness. Which only puts us at a disadvantage when she turns on us. And you know this." Atomic Master said.

"You sure you're not using this as an excuse to get back at my father who stole Valkyrie's heart from you."

"Syd! Why?!" Valkyrie said as she tried to keep hidden.

"Val, we know you're there. Come out." Atomic master said.

Walking in front of the camera, Valkyrie looks at the three of them with worry. "Ron, John, how you been?"

"It's only been a few hours since you resigned from the team. Nothing big change since then." Atomic Master answered.

"So, you're saying a missing teenager is not a big problem. Man, your views of justice have changed. Disappointing."

"Y-

"Lyra! Enough with your childish taunts. We've been busy handling crimes and problems around the world. And, with us being so short handed, we're even struggling to solve them here since so many of heroes quit and went to work for themselves. We don't have time to deal with your temper tantrum or your missing granddaughter. Have a nice day." Neuron said as he ended the video call.

"You bastard!" Sydney said as she grabbed her phone and activated an app, which was connected to EMPs scattered across the country.

"Sydney, no you can't. We won't be able to go save Alex if you activate the EMPs. So, please calm down." Valkyrie said as she tried to stop her from pushing the start button. Sydney calmed down and thought to herself "Crap, she's right. The engines in all the rocket ships we ha… "Argh, none of the ships on this planet can reach that deep into space." Sydney screamed out.

"Huh, you're right. I don't even think the spaceship from Savari can travel that deep into space. Hell, I don't even know of any spaceships that can travel that deep."

Sydney sighed and said "I know someone, but I don't think they'll help."

"If you're talking about Avery, I'm sure she'll help to save her daughter."

"I wasn't talking about her." She said as she dialed another number. "Hey, we need to talk." She said.

Meanwhile, deep underground inside a cave like structure, the heroes named Knight and Psyche are standing in front of a grave.

"Do you want to say some words?" Psyche said.

"You ask this every time we come his grave. I have nothing to say about the man who abandoned me and my mother for money and women."

"Talia, I told you…

"He loved my mother very much. There's no way he would've just left without an explanation." Talia said as she walked away.

Psyche sighs. "Please don't be like that when you become that age." She says to her baby boy.

"Raising Sentry Jet," a computerized voice said.

"Talia, where are you going?" Psyche asked over her earpiece.

"Out for some air." Talia replied as she jumped onto the jet's bay door. The cockpit opened and she got into the front seat. She, then, started the jet's engines. After a few seconds, the jet began to hover over the platform. "Computer, open the hangar doors." Talia said. A tunnel opened in the side of the cave. Instantly, the jet took off into the tunnel at Mach two.

"Teenagers. Don't she realize that I read her mind?" Psyche said as she walked to an elevator.

Meanwhile at Valkyrie's office, Val and Sydney are sitting quietly while waiting for Sydney's mysterious guest.

"Syd, who are we wai…

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.

"Come in," Sydney said. The door opens and Dynamite walks into the room. However, he looked completely different. He had a unshaven and drunken look while wearing his super suit.

"What do you want woman?" He said.

"Okay, first, that was rude. Second, I need your help to save our granddaughter."

"Granddaughter?" he said confused.

"Yep, Avery didn't explain how she did it, but she alone gave us a granddaughter."

"Why haven't you asked for her help?"

"Because your daughter doesn't answer my call. I swear she takes after you so much.. Anyway, do you still have the ship you came all those years back?"

"Yes, but I'm going to need something of you."

"What is it?" Sydney asked cautiously.

"I want to come back home and be there for you and our kids." He said, shocking both Sydney and Valkyrie.

"WHAT!" They both yelled.

Thirty minutes later, Sydney, Valkyrie, Dynamite, and Knight are zooming pass Jupiter's moons.

"Everyone be prepared. I'm activating the LWD(Light Warp Drive). You might feel a little queasy." He said. Everyone, immediately, rushed to their seats and strapped in.

"On a scale 1-10, how bad is queasy?" Valkyrie asked.

"You don't want to know." Dynamite replied as he pressed a flashing purple button, causing the ship radiate a bright light. Then, in a instant, the ship disappeared and reappeared in front a red planet similar to Mars. "Welcome to Farnus, the planet of savages."

"What? We're alre… Valkyrie vomits.

"Huh, I'm surprised. I thought the kid was was going to blow chunks first. Not the powerful goddess." Dynamite said.

"Shut up, this is my first time." Valkyrie struggled to say.

"That doesn't mean anything. The kid over there hasn't blown any…

Talia vomits interrupting him.

"Never mind. Anyway, we need a plan if we're going on that planet."

"What are we expecting down there?" Sydney asked.

"Compared to Erius Dark and those demons, this will be a cake walk. But, only if you all listen to exactly what I say."

"Alright," they said.

"Good, here's the plan."

Meanwhile, Rana is waiting in her father's office for him. Bored, she sits down in a chair and closes her eyes. Suddenly, she was transported to a white space that went on forever.

"Where am I?" She thought to herself.

"This is your mind. Talk about being empty minded." An image of herself said, appearing in front of her. However, this one looked completely different from her. She wore an all black, leather outfit like a biker. She had burning black and blue hair, and red piercing eyes.

"Who are you?"

"She's the dark side of your reaper powers. While I'm the light side of your reaper powers. And this is the Reaper Zone. A place where you can come to practice your powers. Not to mention, relax from your problems." Another image of her said, appearing behind her. This one looked completely opposite from the first image of Rana. She wore a white leather outfit. She had white flaming hair and white piercing eyes.

"Light side? Dark side? I never heard of anybody in the Reaper Program having powers like that."

"That's because your powers are genuine, not like those pathetic copies."

"Copies?"

"Yes, Copies. Your ancestors found the remains of a previous Reaper who killed himself. They studied and used his DNA in order to create the weak supernatural beings you call reapers."

"Huh, that is completely different from what father told us." Rana thought to herself.

"Well, that's because your father was taught that since birth. So, of course, that's what `he going to teach you."

"How?" Rana asked.

"Already told you, we apart of you. Anything you think, we think too. We are a part of you."

"Anyway, you need to get acquainted with your powers more. With you still as weak as you are, you're unable to handle you true duties as the Reaper."

"True duties?" Rana said.

"The duties of a Reaper. To secure the most dangerous things of this universe and to help the guardian of the universe while transport the souls of the dead to their rightful place."

"Woah, that's a bit much for a teenager. Not to mention, Guardian? Who's that?" Rana asked.

"Well, we don't know her for sure. But we'll know when we see her."

"RANA! RANA!" Voices echoes.

"What's that?" Rana said.

"I guess someone's trying to wake you. We'll talk more later."

"Now, get back. And make sure you don't let anyone know about what we just told you. We don't what might happen if they learn the truth."

"Right," Rana said as she woke up.

"What happened, Rana? Why were you asleep?" Kate asked.

"Well, I… uhh,

"CADETS! I could've sworn I only ask my daughter to appear in my office. Care to explain why you're all here." Addius said.

"We thought we could have a conversation with our friend while she waits for you to show. We wanted to make sure she's okay." Judy said.

"Is this true?" Addius asked everyone.

"Yes sir," Kate and Ren answered.

"Good, you excused."

"Sir!" Kate, Ren, Judy said before they walked out of his office.

Sitting at his desk, Addius looked at his daughter and wondered what happened to his daughter. He noticed that she was radiating a strange power different from his and everyone's Reaper's power.

"Why am I here, Father?" Rana asked to break his silence.

"I know what you did."

"What! I don't know what you're talking about. What did I do?" Rana said nervously. Addius pressed a button on his desk, activating a holographic screen. On it showed Rana fighting the Grave general.

"Now, do you want to explain what happened to you or shall we run test on you like some science experiment? Your choice." He said.

Rana stared at the screen nervously.

"Well, experimentation it is." Addius said as he pressed another button. Immediately, Reapers rushed into his office and surrounded Rana.

"Cadet Rana Dracul, come quietly. I'm sure you don't want any trouble." A woman said as she held up her sword.

"Father, is this necessary? There's nothing special about me."

"You destroyed a Grave general single-handedly. No reaper in history was able to do that. Not even the originals Reapers could do that, and they were more powerful than me. I need to know what exactly made you like this." Addius said as he looked at the reapers got closer to Rana. Suddenly, a fire engulfed Rana and dissipated, along with Rana. "What! What happened? Quickly find her. Or better yet find her squad members and bring them to me." Addius ordered.

"Sir!" the reapers said as they left out the office.

Appearing in a dark alley, Rana wondered to herself what she was going to do now. Her family and the entire dome was going to hunt her like like an animal and do experiments on her. Suddenly, she thought about Kate and the others. They were also in danger.

"Okay, I need a way back into the academy. I have to save the ot…

Suddenly, something pulls Rana into the wall without effort.

"What's going on?" She yelled.

"Calm down, I brought you to a temporary safe place in the shadows, but I'm going to need you get to this location. I'll explain there." Avery said as she appeared in front of Rana.

"Wait! Who are you?" Rana asked.

"I'm a guardian of this universe, but I'll explain that we you get here." Avery said.

"That's outside the dome. How I'm going to get there?" Rana thought to herself. Suddenly, Avery disappeared, leaving Rana in the shadows. "Really, you're just going to leave me in here." Rana yelled.

"Don't worry, master. You can get yourself out of here. Just use my hellfire to burn a hole from the shadow realm to your realm."

"What? I can do that!"

"Do you want me to show you?"

"Yes, but you also have to help me and the others get out of the dome. "

"I know. Same mind, remember. We share our thoughts and desires. I'll save your friends."

"Okay, so how does this work?" Rana asked herself.

"Simple, try to think about what you want to do. You should be able to access our powers through thought, but you have to very specific on which side you want to access. My powers feeds on the raw emotion of dominance, fiery rage and vengeance. I judge people based on their true dark character. While Ms Goody here, focuses on the good a person done. A true crime fighter of justice." Rana, understanding what she could from that explanation, closes her eyes and focuses on use her hellfire powers. "Good, now when you're ready, summon the hellfire." Rana took a deep breath and held out her hand.

"Burn," Rana says under voice. Immediately, flames engulfed her body

"Not bad for your first try, but your power output could've been a lot more if you would just stop holding back. At least you were able to materialize my suit."

"I feel so powerful."

"That's because you are powerful. You're a ancestral cosmic being known throughout the Omniverse."

"Omniverse? Never mind, let's get going." Rana said as she summoned a fire to her hand.

"Good, now form a chain or whip and spin in it around. And, make sure the fire burns hot enough to burn through the barrier."

"O…kay," Rana said as she concentrated on manipulating the fire. Then, she made a fist and swung back like a whip, creating a fire whip. Following those instructions, Rana spun around the whip in front of her, making a full circle. Slowly, a hole formed showing an empty room. Stepping into the hole, Rana was instantly transported into the room.

"Congratulations, you have opened a portal on your own, and on your first try. Better than your predecessors. They struggled to use my powers because they thought it was purely evil. Hell, the last one went as far to having me exorcised from their body, destroying their reaper's abilities and their body."

"What? Destroying their body?"

Rana opened the door and peeked out the door. Seeing no one was around, Rana walked out slowly and snuck to the dorm. However, once she arrived at the dorm, there were guards stationed around the building. Rana sighed and thought "Now what? They have hundreds of Reapers standing guards."

"You know what we have to do."

Rana sighed. "Yeah, you're right. Can't get out of this without a fight. But no killing anyone."

"We don't kill those who don't deserve it."

Rana, then, summoned flaming chains and wrapped them around her arms. "Odd, doesn't burn at all." Rana thought.

"Of course, your body has been enhanced to withstand seventy suns exploding in you face. Hell, nukes and bombs are like plucks to the skull now."

"Huh, convenient," Rana said as she got up and walked towards the front door. Immediately, the guard summoned their weapons and fortified their positions.

"Rana Dracu, drop your weapons and come quietly!" one of the guards said as another one requested for backup.

Rana raised her hands high, as if she was surrendering. But she extended her right arm forward and the chains flew towards one of the guards, restraining him. Then, she tossed him far away, scaring the others guards into attacking her. One by one, they fell to Rana. Finishing the last of the guards, Rana ran to the door, but she was electrocuted in the back.

"Ow!"

"How is that possible? That's enough jolts to stun a Grave General. Let alone kill a human being." A Reaper said as he held onto an electrolyzed cord.

"Maybe you're not as strong as you think you are, Rick." Another boy said rushing Rana, striking her with his gauntlets. Breaking through a wall, Rana laid unconscious. "Huh, maybe she's not as strong as they think she is, Intra." A girl, named Nat, said as she appeared out of nowhere.

These three reapers were known as the Executioners. They were the ones Addius called on whenever a Reaper goes rogue. And to do this, they were given specific powers and abilities by the scientists of the Reaper association. Rick was given the ability to generate electricity. Intra was given strength that surpasses the Reapers innate strength, while Nat was given speed.

"So, what do we do with her? Do we kill her like normal?" Rick asked.

"No, we have to cuff her and take her back to the labs." Nat said as she pulled a pair of cuffs from her back pocket. Moving in closer to Rana, Nat picked up one of Rana's arms and placed a cuff on it. As she grabbed the other one, Avery shoots her with heat vision. "Who are you?" Nat said.

"None of your concern. I'm here to get her." Avery said floating above them. Suddenly, Avery appeared beside Rana and lifted her.

"Drop her!" Rick yelled.

"Really, you have no idea what I'm capable of. Yet, you think you can stop me." Avery said abnormally arrogantly.

Intra, aggravated, charged at her and punched her. However, it had the reverse effect. Intra shattered his arm, destroying every bone in his arm. Rick, then, threw an electrolyzed cord at Avery, but it had no affect on her. Avery took a deep breath and blew him out the hole. Avery, then, ran out the hole leave a black blur. Nat, then, sped after Avery. Almost catching up to her, Nat had a strange feeling. She was getting faster as she followed behind Avery. Her body was absorbing the latent energy Avery was radiating as she ran. Suddenly, a portal opened and they both ran inside. Shocked by the what she was seeing, Nat began to slow down. Soon Nat was flung out of the portal in the middle of a empty desert.

"What was that?" Nat thought to herself.

"Agent Nat, respond. Are you okay?" A man said over her communicator.

"Yea… I mean yes sir. I'm fine. However, I don't know my location."

"Well , according to your communicator, you're located right outside the dome. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yes sir, I'm fine. I was just chasing Rana Dracu and her accomplice. Unfortunately, they got away, sir." Nat answered.

"That's fine. Head on to medics and get checked up. Then, come by General Dracu's office for your debriefing." He ordered.

"Sir," Nat said before running back.

Meanwhile, Sydney and Dynamite walks into a city filled with tall buildings and men flying around those buildings at high speeds. Suddenly, A man crashed in front of them.

"Quickly, detain the new women. Kill them if you must." He said before he took off into sky.

"Something tells me that Alexia." Sydney said.

"We should hurry." Dynamite said as he picked up Sydney in his arms. "Hang on." Dynamite, then, sped over to where the man flew. Arriving at a hangar, surrounded by large skyscrapers, Sydney and Dynamite saw Alex fighting dozens of Farnusian men. "Oh, so another one who took after your father." He said.

"Of course, She is Avery's child. She never once shown any signs of inheriting any of your powers." Sydney said as she grabbed her guns from her sides. "Now, are we going to help our granddaughter or are you going to sit there upset like a child."

Dynamite sighed and ran towards the fight. However, as he reached the fight, he had to dodge an energy beam. "Woah, that was close. A second later and my brain could've melted." He thought to himself.

"Alexia!" Sydney yelled.

Alexia looked towards Sydney and saw a man rushing at her from behind.

"Grandma!" Alexia screamed. She flew at the man at high speed and knocked him back into a building.

Looking at Alexia, Dynamite was reminded of his daughter when he saw her flying above the city when she was fixing the damage from the flood.

"Grandma, are you okay? What are you doing here on this planet?" Alexia asked worriedly.

"Alexia, are you okay? You sound worried about me."

"This is no time for jokes. This planet is the home of the counterparts of Yolunda. And, they have all of her powers. They're extremely dangerous…

Suddenly, a metallic cord wrapped around Alexia and pulled back hard, flinging her into the a large building. Then, another metallic cord wrapped around Dynamite and Sydney.

"Well, well, look at what we caught. An Omegian and an Earthling woman. What a great catch?" A man said walking up to them.

"Let us go!" Sydney yelled.

The man slapped Sydney. "Shut up your mouth! You have no say on this planet. You should do you homework Intergalactic Law before you come to another planet. I'm surprised the Omegian didn't tell you." He said. Suddenly, Valkyrie struck the man as hard and fast as she could, knocking him into a nearby skyscraper.

"F**K! THAT HURTS!"She screamed out. "It was like hitting a reinforced titanium wall." Valkyrie thought to herself as held her arm.

"I told you not to be so reckless. How are you going to be of any help?" Dynamite said.

"Shut up! You two need my help so me and Talia rushed over to help you.

"Talia?" Sydney asked.

"Yep," Knight said as she landed beside Sydney. She, then, took out small button and pressed it, transforming it into a small laser. Then, she tried to cut the cord, but the cord didn't cut at all. "Well, that's unexpected. It was like the cord absorbed the energy from the laser." Talia said.

"Of course, this cord was made from Alibanium. A substance that has a constant change in every aspects of physics there is. That's why I haven't tried to vibrate through it yet."

"Then, how are we supposed to get out of this?!" Sydney yelled.

"Unless you have the strength to crush ten planets, we're stuck like this forever." Dynamite explained.

Sydney, then, remembered something Mai taught her while Avery was in the afterlife looking for Yolunda. Mai showed her Avery's power output and biometrics.

"So, Let's say there was a person or people was capable of crushing universes with ease." Sydney said, nervously.

"Like who? Avery? No, wait, your father. Yeah right, stop joking around. No one like that exists."

"Well,"

"Syd, what aren't you telling me?"

"Avery and her mentors are capable of doing the impossible." Sydney said, nervously.

"What?! Avery is strong enough to crush an universe. How did she get such power?"

"I don't know, but we'll have to worry about that later. We need to call one of them."

"Yeah, call Avery! Quickly!" Dynamite said, excitedly and rushingly.

"Unfortunately, Avery won't answer my calls. Side effects of our bad relationship with her. But, luckily, Mai gave me a way of contacting her mentors."

"Really, how?"

"REO, ANKO LUCRADA! There's a planet people bullying Alexia! She needs your help!"

Immediately, a bolt of lightning struck the ground in front of Sydney. And, out of the lightning, Reo appeared angry.

"What's the situation?" He asked as he extended his hand. Immediately, the metallic cord disintegrated into nothing. Amazed from his ability, Sydney says there paralyzed by his aura. "Hey, you there?" Reo asked as he snapped his fingers. Snapping out of her paralysis, Sydney quickly begged Reo for help. "Huh, I see why Avery talks about you, the she do. You make things more difficult than it has to be." Reo said as he placed a hand on her face. She blushed, thinking he was going to make a move on her. However, Reo was reading her mind from the past few days. Instantly, Reo subconsciously released his power out of anger.

"Those bastards turned Avery into a pariah, again. Do they not realize that without her they wouldn't have a chance against the future threats they'll face? Not to mention, she could easily destroy the planet and we wouldn't even reprimand her." He thought to himself.

"Hey! What are you doing to my wife?" Dynamite yelled.

Reo looked at him and shined his eyes, as if he was activating his heat vision. Immediately, Dynamite went silent. Reo sighed and stood up. "Okay, I'll help Alexia, but first I need to get you four out of here. Before anyone else show up." Reo said as he snapped his fingers. Immediately, a small ship appeared above them. Then, it lowered itself down and hovered inches above the ground. Opening its bay door and revealing a woman, Reo walks onto the platform with a conflicted look.

"Why are you here, Ariana?" He asked.

"Well, mother thinks I should hang around you while I have the time off from the agency. So I found your magical power and followed it to this sad planet."

"Well, I'm glad. I don't get to spend time with my children like I want to. So I will gladly have you along with me."

"Yay, so what are we going to do?" She asked.

"Right now, we're getting these four back to home. Preferably without the Intergalactic Alliance Corps noticing."

"Intergalactic Alliance Corps? Oh, those idiots that recruited my little sister, Dani. Aren't they obsessed with your technology and powers?"

"Yeah, more reason to be discreet. Don't want them knowing I'm here?" Reo said as he levitated Talia, Sydney, and Valkyrie onto the ship.

"What about Dani?"

"Dani has every opportunity to see me if she wanted to. But I can't get onto that planet without being noticed." Reo said as he and Ariana walked towards the cockpit. "Kuro, scan the area for the Omegian's ship."

"Alright," a voice said. "Lord Reo, I found the ship on the outskirts of the country, in the middle of an ocean."

"Why? Never mind, let's go and pick up his ship. Then, let's get off this planet."

"Yes, Lord Reo," Kuro said as she transformed into a larger ship. Then, she fired her low-altitude jets, slowly raising her up over the skyscrapers surrounding the hangar. Then, she flew off towards the ship at Mach 3. Reo, then, picked up Valkyrie and carried her into the medical bay. Placing her into a pod, Reo said "Kuro, do a full check on her broken arm and try to heal it." A light shined over her arm, scanning her injury.

"Reo, she has shattered her arm into thousand of tiny fragments that lodged it into her muscle. If not taken care of properly she could lose her arm. Luckily, I can handle it easily without any problem. She should be good as new before we reached Earth."

"Good, thank you," Reo said as he left the room. Walking back into the cockpit, Reo seen Talia ogle the technology while Sydney and Dynamite was arguing. Reo sighed and flew beside Talia. "Amazing, right." He said.

"Yeah, I don't think any of my scientists can come up with something like this." Talia said.

"Someone," Reo replied.

"What?"

"This ship is a living being capable of transforming to any type of vehicle. It breaths, eats, and sleeps like any living being. She, like others like her, are the closest thing to true AIs."

"Who made her?"

"I did. Well, me and my wife made her. She's like our child in a sense." Reo answered. Talia looked at him with a confused expression. "Yeah, I get that look every time I try to explain it. Even the smartest beings in the omniverse couldn't understand until I have a tell them I can create life from nothing."

"What?" Talia yelled, causing Sydney and Dynamite to stop arguing.

"Talia, is everything alright?" Sydney asked, concerned.

"Did he say something inappropriate?" Dynamite said as he grabbed a small disc from his belt and vibrated its molecules.

"Really," Reo said.

"No, why would he say something inappropriate?" Talia asked.

"Because he looks like the type who preys on the minds of weak-minded women."

They all looked at Dynamite, shocked by his words. "Reo, we have arrived at the Omegian's ship. Should I carry it or load it in the cargo hold?"

"Carry it and get us to Earth." Reo answered. Immediately, Kuro flew and hovered over Dynamite's ship. Then, she gave off a concentrated magnetic pulse, attracting his ship onto the bottom of Kuro. Then, Kuro flew off into the sky at Mach 20, easily exiting the atmosphere. "We should get to our seats before she get to a safe place to really open up her engine." Reo said to Talia.

"Okay," Talia as she walked behind Reo.

"What!" Sydney and Dynamite said as they followed Reo too. However, they all was too late. Kuro, immediately, sped towards earth, flinging everyone toward the back. Luckily, Reo was able to catch Talia and Sydney, and was able to float in a single place while Dynamite was pinned against a wall.

"What's happening?" Sydney said.

"We're traveling at light speed to Earth so I can get back to help Alexia."

"You're really worried about her, aren't you?" Sydney said, concerned.

"Of course, like Avery, she's like a daughter to me."

"What?"

"Reo, we have a problem." Kuro said as she summoned a holographic screen in front of Reo. Looking at the screen, he and the others was shocked by the image of a burning earth.

"Did the demons come back?" Talia asked.

"No, I think it's something much worse." Sydney said with a scared, concerned expression.
