Chapter 19 Finish him!
While the Fire Lion was still on it`s back Yukikaze saw a chance to attack the vulnerable stomach of the Fire Lion. She quickly ran up to it and jumped.
She quickly used (Bite Lv.4) and (Claw Lv.5) to cause as much damage as she could to the vulnerable stomach.

She only managed to hit two times with her claws and bite it one time causing the HP of the Fire Lion to go dangerously low.

` Just 3000 HP more. I seem to make per attack run around 1500 HP Damage. So two attack runs and I`m done. `
Yukikaze quickly used (Jump Lv.3) to get on a tree. Yukikaze had to quickly jump from one tree to another to dodge the Fire Lions Fireballs. A couple trees started burning. After a minute of dodging a large fire was devouring more and more of the fire. Yukikaze knew she has to end it quickly or the entire forest would burn to the ground which could get the attention of something stronger than her.
` That`s enough you over sized kitten ` thought while changing her direction towards the Fire Lion before jumping towards it over a fire ball. But before Yukikaze could land a hit the Fire Lion already swung it`s Claws towards her forcing Yukikaze to abandon her attack and try to dodge.
Yukikaze dodged out of the way in time but still felt pain and a lot of heat coming from a burning bush. She graced it and part of her fur catches fire.

` So much pain. I need to put it out quick. `
Yukikaze had to continuously dodge the attacks of the Fire Lion while thinking of a way to put the flames out.
` The river is to far away. The only way to put it out is by reducing the heat or taking away it`s supply of oxygen. I have to roll on the ground that should put it out. ` thought Yukikaze while dodging another fire ball.
When the next fire ball flew towards her she didn`t dodge like usual by jumping to the side but instead rolled under it causing the flames on her fur to extinguish themselves.
Yukikaze used the momentum of her roll to move towards the fire lion faster and scratching it right in it`s left eye.

The Fire Lion roared in pain at tried to bite her. Yukikaze dodged to the left and let her claws run over it`s flank.

Yukikaze then jumped under it`s stomach and scratched it open.

What she did not expected was a bunch of organs and blood falling on her face. She ran to the from the Fire Lion to get some distance and turned around expecting another Fire ball flying towards her but instead she only saw it lying on the ground not moving one bit.
` Is it dead? Did I win? `
Yukikazes question was answered when multiple screens pop up.

After the level up messages a bunch of Skill level up messages followed.
Yukikaze thought about looking at her stats but decided to do that later and get the beast core of the Fire Lion first.
Yukikaze had to do a little bit of digging inside the corpse to find the beast core. The beast core was much heavier and it`s light was brighter than any of the previous four.
` It`s so much heavier. Is it simply determined by the race or by something else. Well it was stronger than the others maybe it was nearing it`s evolution?
Yukikaze put the Beast core into her system inventory which caused another message to appear.
` Am I done can I evolve now? ` Yukikaze asked herself and looked at her evolution system.

` F@ck I forgot about the Intelligence requirement. Even with my 15 Statpoints I can only reach 135. I have to level up at least twice to get 150 Intelligence. ` Yukikaze sighed in frustration.
` I will deal with it tomorrow. I have to get all of this blood and these small pieces of organs out of my fur before it drys. I also need something to eat. `
Yukikaze put the body of the Fire Lion into her system inventory and started moving towards the river to clean herself. As soon as she reached the small river she jumped into it to get the blood and small organ parts out of her fur.
After a bit of cleaning she sat herself next to the river to let the sun dry her now wet fur. She used this time to get the dead deer body out of her to eat from it. After she was done she put the remaining meat of the body back into her system inventory and took a lock at her stats.

` All of my Stats are now over 50 and Perception is almost over the 100 mark. And I have 1300 Knowledge coins of the 3000 that I need to get that Ancient Technic. But to evolve I have to level up at least two more times. I wonder how much stronger I will become when I evolve. After Yukikaze dried her fur she went to her small sleeping spot in the hollow tree to sleep since the sun was already setting.
As soon as she was on her somewhat comfortable leave nest she fell into a deep sleep full of dreams without annoying requirements to evolve.
