Chapter 20 Time to Evolve
After Yukikaze was awoken up by the first shimmers of sun light she stood out of her small sleeping spot and stretched her stiff muscles. Yukikaze yawned and then looked at her quest menu.

Yukikaze looked at the Quest and had only one thought on her mind.
` How the F@ck did they mine over a tone in a single day. Even though there are 10 miner only 7 are actually getting the ore since the other 3 have to drive the three carriages. `
Yukikaze opened the (Troops and Land management system) or ( TLM ) for short and looked at her resources.
It was saying right there that she had 1,344 Tons of Iron ore. She looked at the troops window and looked at the info of the carriages.

` And I thought this would take months. Well let`s see what rewards we have gained thanks to our hard working skeleton miner. ` Yukikaze claimed the reward of (Excavation II) and a screen showed what she had gained.

` Another step towards evolution. Only one more level up. It already has been a while since I leveled up by natural means so I should be close to a level up that didn`t came with a quest. I just have to kill a few more beasts and I should be able to evolve. `

` This one is going to be harder. I have to set up a blacksmith to smelt the Iron ore into clean Iron. I will also need a lot more Iron since most of the Iron ore is just worthless slag and only a small part of the Iron ore is actually usable Iron. `
` I will push this quest to the back of my head and first try and evolve. After that I can deal with that quest. First I am going hunting to level up. Then will evolve. And after i have evolved I will think about what to do next. `
Yukikaze went to the river and drank a bit to get herself a bit of strength. She also forgot to eat so she took out that deer corpse that is only half of what it was before and ate a bit more of it before putting it back into her system inventory.
Yukikaze went into the deep part of the forest to maybe find one or two more of those deer. They were somewhat easy to fight but gave huge amounts of food a beast core and of course caused her to level up faster.
It took her about an hour before she was able to find two brown deer. Yukikaze was easily capable of fighting against one but with her giant boost in stats she believed that she won`t have any problem to kill one and than track the other one down.
Yukikaze activated her (Invisibility Lv.2) and started moving towards one of them. She decided a quick attack would leave the second deer with less time to run away.
The deer she targeted noticed her sooner than if she had moved slower but Yukikaze was still fast enough to give the first deer no time to react biting at it`s throat the second she got in range.

` So much damage it tripled. Well then it should be even easier to kill that last one. `

Yukikaze could have stopped there but she wanted to kill just one more. Does she do it to prove her strength? Or does she do it because killing is fun? We may never now.
Yukikaze was able to reach the second deer within seconds and used (Bite Lv.5) on it`s neck killing it again with just on hit.
` That is so satisfying. Well those are two more Beast cores as well as 6 more days worth in food. I won`t need to hunt for at least 2 weeks.` Yukikaze thought.
After she had collected both boys and beast cores and put them in her system inventory she spend all her stat points into Intelligence raising it from 120 to 150.
` Finally I can evolve. `

` My castle would be a save place to evolve but why could I evolve. I thought I can only evolve at full moon. `
Yukikaze looked at the blue sky and was able to see that it would get dark soon.
` That would mean that we have to day a full moon and I will have to hurry If I don`t want to wait for another month. ` Yukikaze thought while running with (Dash Lv.4) activated towards the cave entrance.
She sprinted the whole way using almost all of her stamina until she arrived at the castle. It took her around an hour for the entire journey.
As soon as she arrived in the throne room and headed towards her bedroom she meet Albert.
" Good day little fox what can I do for you? "
Since Yukikaze still had no way of talking she just took out the 5 beast cores and the pointed to herself.
" You are going to evolve? I will warn you it can be painful. It`s best if you go in your bedroom. "
` Well yeah that was my entire plan I`m not stupid. I wonder how much my stats will increase. ` Yukikaze thought while entering her bedroom.
She jumped on her bed and pulled 5 beast cores out of her system inventory. She put them in front of her carefully and then opened her (Evolution system)
