19. The Problem Is Finished

Eveline blinked in disbelief when she met Doni's only daughter, the one who became her enemy. Actually, Eveline had long since forgetting the things related to fierce battles because she had already gotten a decent job at Ri Salon and was able to become a part of Black Angel.

Eveline returned Natalie's hand. They shook hands peacefully without any hint of hostility. "I'm Eveline, nice to meet you."

Eveline smiled politely, her head turned towards Zelin. "Then, she's Zelin, my daughter."

Natalie nodded her head in understanding. So, it's clear that Zelin doesn't have any relationship with Dave. Natalie pulled her hand, making their hands unlink. "Nice to meet you, too."

Eveline couldn't help but stare at Dave, who was hugging her daughter. Eveline couldn't help but recognize Dave's face. In one glance, Eveline could tell Dave's identity. "Dave Johnson. Long time no see."

Eveline smirked. Seeing Dave's paralyzed condition and could only sit in a wheelchair, Eveline was concerned. Actually, she doesn't have any grudge against Dave because she's only after Doni. After all, Dave was an obedient child at that time, so Eveline felt that Dave could be likened to an obedient dog.

Dave, who was busy, watching Zelin who hugged him tightly, turned to look at Eveline who was talking to him. Dave snorted coldly. "Eveline, you've already achieved what you wanted. At least it'll keep you from having to create chaos all over the place."

Eveline shrugged nonchalantly. Recalling old memories made Eveline feel a little embarrassed by her too rash act. "That's the past that I really want to forget. Huh, what a shame to act so thoughtlessly."

Dave chuckled. "Well, you were very reckless in the past. But, it seems… it's all over without any problems."

Eveline snapped her fingers with a big smile. "Exactly! I've solved all the problems in the past. Well, one has to step forward if one wants to escape the shadows of the past. That's what I'm trying to do."

Dave lowered his head to look at Zelin who was staring at him as well. "Why? Are you surprised that I know your mother."

Dave spoke to Zelin who looked sullen. It turned out that this person knew her mother, and he certainly wouldn't be able to work together to upset her mother.

Zelin let go of her hand that wrapped around Dave's neck. The beautiful toddler looks angry. "Zelin is annoyed! Why do you know, Mom?! In fact, Zelin wants to make you a Dad, so Mom gets angry and takes me to Dad!"

Eveline squeaked seeing Zelin who was smacking in people's laps. Zelin's cunning and tactical nature is very similar to Eveline's. However, Eveline did not expect that Zelin would become a brat like this who hugs other people's legs at random and calls him Dad just to annoy Eveline.

"Zelin! Mom already told you can't play with Dad because Dad is sick! You're still a kid, so don't get too close to sick people because you can get sick too later!" Eveline has explained many times in a good way and controlled her anger. But, Zelin still didn't listen to Eveline's every word, making the mother of one child annoyed.

Leo is sick because he's been putting in too much effort for a salon that's been busy lately. Not to mention having to look after Zelin and play with their daughter. Eveline, who is always assigned outside, certainly can't play much of a role in taking care of Zelin except on holidays or when Richard doesn't give orders.

The little time she spends with her daughter, Zelin always triggers an argument with her mother because she feels that Eveline doesn't really care about her.

"You always get into trouble when you carelessly hug someone else's leg. Aren't you afraid the person you're hugging turns out to be a criminal?" Eveline lifted Zelin's body and carried her in front.

Zelin blinked innocently. Basically, she was still a child, so she still didn't understand which people were dangerous to her or not. "Zelin's wrong, Mom."

Seeing the regretful look on Zelin's face, Eveline heaved a sigh of relief. Her hand stroked Zelin's head gently. "Zelin, honey. Mom knows you're a smart kid. So, Mom hope you don't do things like this to strangers in the future.

"Okay, Mom."

After settling matters with her daughter, Eveline turned her attention to Natalie. "So… why are you here?"

Natalie smiled shyly, her hands holding her shoulder-length straight hair which she thought looked boring. "I wanted to make my hair look different."

Eveline nodded her head then said goodbye because she still had to take care of Leo who was sick and lying in the room. After her departure, Natalie was finally able to realize her intention to come to Ri Salon.

"Come on, change this boring hair! I want to look different the next time we meet."

***

Unlike Natalie who spends time satisfying her desires, Dimas can't do it. He was silent like a statue after the sexy woman clung tightly to his side.

It didn't stop there, Dimas couldn't even ask for help from Dedrick, who was busy with customers ordering drinks.

"Brother, … help me…"

Dimas feels like running away from Vivi's Club immediately. Not finished getting rid of one woman, in fact, another woman approached Dimas. Dimas' handsome face stands out among the people who come to the club'.

"Hey! I've been looking everywhere, and it turns out that you're the same here… oh, hi, handsome! You'd better spend time with me than with her…" The words of the woman, who had just come over, apparently knew the woman who was attached to Dimas. She intended to reprimand the clinging woman, but after seeing Dimas' handsome face, she instead fought with the first woman.

Dimas is getting more and more goosebumps because if he doesn't solve this problem soon, there might be more women attached to him. Thinking this terrible thing made Dimas shudder in horror.

"Get off me! You guys are shameless! I already said I preferred not to have fun with you guys!" Dimas subconsciously raised his voice. However, his voice was muffled by the noise of the music echoing in Vivi's Club'.

The two women gasped at the loud voice of Dimas. "Tch, why maintain my shame in a free place like this?! You're just too weird from anywhere."

The woman who had just arrived agreed to the words of the first woman, who had now let go of Dimas's hand. She had lost interest in Dimas, so she stood up and walked away with one woman.

Dimas leaned against the back of the chair. "It's tiring to have two women fight."

Fortunately, Dimas has managed to escape from the two people. Dimas immediately stood up and walked towards the center of the bar table to get closer to Dedrick. If Dimas was still within Dedrick's reach, it was certain that things like before would not happen a second time.

"Dimas, what's wrong with you? Why is your face so pale?" Dedrick, who finished serving all the visitors, was immediately surprised to see Dimas who was pale.

Dimas swallowed hard, he wanted to avoid being trapped again between him and the women and them fighting over him. "Brother, when are we going home? I prefer not to linger in this place anymore."

Dimas' voice sounded a little scared, which made Dedrick hold his breath for a moment. It seems that Dimas got into trouble before, but Dedrick is busy with his customers.

Dedrick finally decided to go home early today. Seeing Dimas uncomfortable and always restless, Dedrick couldn't force himself to keep Dimas at Vivi's Club for long. He couldn't ignore Dimas's depressed state. It doesn't seem like the right decision to bring Dimas to the club'. Thinking of that, Dedrick couldn't help but sigh heavily.

"My work is done, and we are going home." Dedrick came out from the inside, where there were various kinds of drinks arranged neatly.

Dimas's eyes immediately lit up hearing this. He followed Dedrick back to the changing room to wait for Dedrick to change clothes. After they finished, they walked out of Vivi's Club'.

Dimas breathed a sigh of relief after getting out of a place that he thought was scary. "Hah, I can finally get out."

Dedrick chuckled. "That's how you want to leave the club'?"

Dimas looked at Dedrick flatly because he was still annoyed at being taken to a place he preferred not to be. "Yes! Since the first time I arrived, I also wanted to go straight home. However, Brother Rick was the one who insisted, so I couldn't help but enter the club."

Dedrick nodded in understanding, then put his arm around Dimas's shoulder to go to his parked car. While in the car, suddenly, Dimas' mind was filled with the figure of Natalie. Speaking of Natalie because it was a holiday, Dimas couldn't see the woman's face. Honestly, maybe Dimas misses Natalie.

But, he could not do anything to reduce the feeling of longing in him. "I want to meet her."

"Who with?"

Dimas jumped in the car seat, he apparently unconsciously voiced his heart and made Dedrick hear his words. Dimas grimaced, there was no way he could tell Dedrick the truth.

"N-nothing! I-I was just talking!" Dimas panicked so that his voice stuttered when he gave an explanation that was not as usual.

Dedrick glanced briefly at Dimas then returned his focus to looking straight ahead. "Okay, if you don't tell me. But, Dimas… I suggest anyone, if you are sure you have feelings for her, at least make her happy and feel like the happiest person. Then, take her out to spend time with her."

Dimas blinked, not expecting Dedrick to give advice about a relationship. "After that, ... what should I do?"

Dedrick snorted in amusement, he felt like just a love advisor. It's ridiculous. "Tell her how you feel and invite her to be a couple with you. You know, Dimas. At least you have to express your feelings even though you end up being rejected. That's because you will feel a little relieved."

He looked down at the phone in his hand. "But… I still have doubts about my feelings."

"So, make sure of your feelings. Meet her and look into her eyes for a long time. Then, feel what has changed in you after seeing her for a long time? If you flutter and blush when you see her, then you like her."

Dimas frowned and turned to the side. "Just… like? Why not call it love?"

Dedrick shook his head in disbelief. Even though Dimas is a genius, it turns out that he doesn't quite understand the love system. "Dimas, love is not easily confirmed by just a heartbeat and blush. It's a deep feeling. Even I can't say it accurately."

Dimas pondered after hearing Dedrick's long words. It turned out that his brother was trying to help Dimas even though Dimas didn't ask for it. "Brother, thank you for helping me. You gave me an idea of what steps I will take in the future."

Dedrick smiled lopsidedly with pride. "Isn't that what brother is for?"

Dimas chuckled. "I think so."
