17. Absurdity

"can I call you, honey?

And the last message was finally answered by Lesmana's daughter with simply one word 'Okay'

Hendra rang her right away.

Hendra: Honey, what are you doing? You made me unable to breathe, you know that?"

Aruna: Hehehe… I'm sorry..."

Hendra: I missed you so much. I don't know how to deal with this feeling. I must meet you tonight"

Aruna: I'm sorry, you can't Hen. I wasn't brave enough to reply your messages today. My sister, Ananta were here with her family"

Hendra: Why didn't you ask permission to at least reply my chats?"

Aruna: the problem was we were having dinner and were chatting with the whole family. It's impolite to pick up the call. And what would I say if they asked who called me? I can't lie you know."

Hendra: Leave it…no problems at all. What matters I can hear your voice again."

Aruna: thanks Hen…"

Hendra: call me darling instead".

Aruna: uffff… I'm ashamed"

Hendra: "Please….to boost my mood."

Aruna: "Darling…"

Someone was turning red and covered his face at the far end.

Hendra: "I must meet you tonight. I can't take it anymore."

Aruna: "How? I can't go out of the house. My sister Alana isn't around. She is good in helping me make excuses."

Hendra: "Don't close the room window."

Aruna: "But why?"

Hendra: "You'll see later"

Aruna: "Hey, you're not doing something silly, aren't you?"

Hendra: "You'll see later. Just don't close the room window."

Aruna: "I don't get it."

Hendra: "Just do what I said. If you don't, you'll be sorry."

.

"Hery, we are leaving now!" Hery was surprised when Hendra walked fast and told him crazy ideas.

He took a pick-up car as ordered and a ladder at the back of the car. Hery couldn't understand how Hendra could come up with such crazy ideas. This was another shocking side of him.

He always looked perfectionist, cool, and dynamic in everything he did. But not at his night. The night when he climbed up the ladder he lay against the wall of the neighbor's house. And the reason ws unique. He was afraid to be caught if he went to the girl's room through the right way. He did it secretly to meet the girl he disturb every day with his repeated calls.

_Is it because I am still single?_i really don't understand. Or is he the one who is acting too much? My young master is really absurd_

_Why is he doing something like this to meet his own wife? He was afraid to meet her today. But now? Look at him! He is really crazily in love with her_ Hery could not stop wondering about Hendra's childish attitude while he was holding the ladder.

"Hery, don't move! Concentrate please. If I fall down, the stocks of Wenceslasare at stake."

"I do, Sir. Relaxed ."

"Sssstttt… don't be noisy. Someone might think I am a thief!"

"I'm just replying you, though." Hery started grumbling. All of sudden, his mind travelled and he remembered Surya. He might have faced similar situation and done something silly like this.

.

"Ughhh… why is the roof so fragile?"

"creekk…creak" Hendra was trying to keep himself balanced. He walked slowly on the square tiles lined up made a roof that looked so breakable. Finally he took off his shoes. He did not want risk to break the roof tile of Aruna's neighbor because of his absurd attitude. It was not funny at all if he would be accused a thief.

Half crawling carefully, Hendra finally reached his wife's roof house.

Luckily the roof of his wife's family house was new and strong. Mahendra walked a bit fast and bent down to reach the right balcony of Aruna's room.

The house was not big enough but it had two floors. Aruna's room was on the second floor. Hendra had done such investigations about the house for days and made the precise prediction to be able to sneak into the girl's room, the girl who had occupied his heart and shadowed his mind all the time.

He held the roof holder tightly. He swayed his tall body and jumped into the balcony. The good thing, the window of a standard balcony remained opened as he instructed.

He smiled knowing his wife was quite obedient even though he did not really know the reason why she did so.

He sneaked into the room hurriedly.

"Ouch…the window is too small!" he tried some ways and from every side to push his body in. he did all the predictions and calculation precisely, unless his tall and athletic body. He forgot to calculate it.

"who cares!" he pulled the window holders. Two wooden holder s framed angle of 3O degrees were pulled off. As the window gave him more space until 9O degrees, he could go in easily.

Unfortunately, his one foot was stuck in the window's frame. "Ugh craps!"

He stumbled and his foot was wedged by the window.

_Oh my goodness! For the sake of hugging my wife I have to go through this stupid thing_ he knew well that what did was really silly. But he took all the chances to have his wife in his arms. He did not know what else to do to compensate all the unbearable feelings in his heart for Aruna.

And all his craziness in that night was paid off perfectly.

Hendra walked slowly and found his wife was curling in her blanket. She hugged her bolster peacefully.

"Uffffffff…." He sighed in relief.

He took off his shocks and carefully sneaked into the blanket that covered his wife slim body. Before he joined in the dreams that Aruna might have, he looked at that face closely, picked up strays of smooth hairs covering her face, and inhaled the good odor of her body.

_It feels so long ago I did not stay by your side_ that blue eyed man kissed lightly on Aruna's temple. He ran his hand on her stomach and rested there. Hendra was drowned in his sleep too. His face was hald covered by his wife's hair. The hair of logic destroyer. He felt so much contented there. Once in a while he inhaled the aroma deeply filling up his lungs.

"I wish this night will be a long night" that was in his prayers.

"Smack! Smack!" the guard was busily clasping his hands to smack the mosquitoes biting him.

"Oh goshhhh! So many mosquitoes here! How long do I have to wait?" Hery did not really know he had to sleep in the pick-up car in hunger. He did not expect it at all. He made no preparation.

He considered about going somewhere to buy some food and mosquito repellent lotion.

But he remembered well the words his boss sent him. It was like a real threat:"Don't leave your place! If something unexpected happened to me, I will go here. It will be a disaster if I can't find you!"

"Remember, the stocks of Wenceslas Group were just to crawl up! If something happens to me, it will bring it down without any doubts. And employee elimination can't be avoided. This means what you do right now has huge risks if you fail to carry it on." This nonsense threats had been addressed to Surya. Later it went to Hery.
