30. Save Your Words

"Someone? Is he special for you?" Rey smiled. He followed Aruna in leading the talk. Rey was pretty good looking man, honestly. His soft hair would always fell down to his forehead whenever he bent his head down. It was perfected with his slanted eyes and a typical smile from his semi-oriental face.

"My husband. He likes simply tiffin" Aruna watched his expression when she stressed the word 'my husband'. But Rey's face well composed.

"You often cook simply tiffin for him?" Rey managed his voice to sound normal and relaxed even though another man was mentioned in their conversation. Generally men disliked to have another man was being narrated in a talk with a woman.

"No, I don't. He does it for me" Again, Aruna gave another blow to him.

"It seems he treats you very well" Rey's reply was certainly able to make Aruna mute. 'treating you very well' was certainly not typical from Hendra. The successor of Wenceslas was not an ordinary man. He was very angry, he could do things no one could imagine.

Hendra hardly did physical abuse, such as slapping, punching, etc. But on a certain point where he did not feel comfortable, he could be very intimidating. And Aruna had ever been the target.

"Sometimes" That was the only word she could find. Then silence struck both of them.

"Forgive me. To tell the truth I am not very comfortable with our situation right now." She could not hold it much longer how disappointed she was knowing Anantha's effort to arrange that meeting.

But before Rey replied to her complaint, a waitress came with a tray of their orders.

He helped the waitress to clear some space on the table for the waitress to lay the plates on the table. He pushed some food in front of Aruna. " No one feels comfortable with new things, new status, doesn't he?"

"I'm not sure.." Aruna snapped it fast.

"After this, can I ask you to go shopping or watch movie?" Rey offered some options. He believed the more they got together, the easier they would get over the awkwardness between them.

_No one feels comfortable with new things_ her mind was overwhelmed with the precise expression Rey just said. She brought up an idea to get rid of that difficult situation.

When she was faced with a sudden marriage between her and that blue eyed man, she was totally uninterested. She felt very uncomfortable as well. As time went by, the man who she even had not dared to dream about was able to make her heart melted. He made her give in her strong defensive behaviors over him. And the worst he was able to change her old feeling with her best friend.

And now she was trapped in such overwhelming emotions with the showering love from Hendra. Then, that love was able to distract everything, including her will to prevent her marriage from the threat of separation.A marriage she had felt as a shackle around her wrists which made her want to run as far as she could.

That words reminded her of a man she could rely on the most, a man who would never let her down, offer her the comfortable feeling, instead. Rey might not like him because Aruna turned out to have another man other than her husband, Damar. It was good to call him around, to save her from the crazy situation her brother had created.

"How about watching film? But I choose the film we are watching. And one more request, I have had an appointment with my best friend. Can he come around and watch with us?" Aruna ate up all her food on the plate quickly.

"Yes, he can"

As soon as Rey approved it, she took her phone and asked Damar to pick her up before watching the film.

"Such a great idea" it sounded a great plan for Aruna since she hardly made plans.

A waitress came to their table, Aruna passed the card her husband inserted in her purse yesterday quickly. Her behavior could have annoyed the man in front of her. She smiled to herself proudly.

.

"Hi, Damar"

"Hi..." Damar frowned to see a man was following her when they were standing in the window ticket.

"No need to order tickets. I did it online".

"O.. Okay. What are we watching?"

"Something we both like!"

"Wow cool!!? Sit beside me though, so when you got scared you know where to hide" Damar grinned. He knew well how to scare anyone around him. This time she liked the jokes her best friend made.

Not long after that Rey showed up three boxes of popcorn and drinks for three of them. He smiled and gestured to Aruna to introduce him to Damar.

"Damar, this is Rey, my brother's friend" Damar glanced at her. He gave her unhappy look. Aruna responded in way as if she said ' I was set and I need your help'.

"Rey, this is Damar, my best friend" Aruna indicated her hand to Rey.

"Huh! I am more than simply a best friend. I am the seal of your heart" Damar threw ambiguous response. Aruna smiled widely. Her teeth flashed removing the stress she had previously. Damar knew how to break the ice. That was his expertise.

She pushed her hand in his arm and Damar pulled that girl to go into the cinema. They walked on the red carpet and went to their seats. She was sitting between two gentlemen but she could not stop thinking about another one far from her.

She smiled remembering that a person was so scared that caused him nausea and vomiting when watching a horror film that time. He was so contrast with the two men sitting on her right and her left side.

_I wonder what Hendra is doing right now? He has not called me yet_

"Whusshh??" Aruna was shocked to see there was scene not appropriate for immature viewers.

"Damar, close your eyes. You are not supposed to watch this" Aruna threw her left arn to reach his face and covered his eyes with her palm, the jokes they used to do when they were teasing to each other.

"You got to be kidding! It is you that is still innocent. You aren't allowed to watch this film." Damar teased her back.

"No way.. I am a married woman. I am not that innocent" Aruna tried tomfree her hand from Damar's lock.

"But you are not yet touched. That means you are holy"

"Give me a break.. let me go please.." Aruna tried to free her hand from that guy's hands. She pushed him as strong as she could.

"Hey… let go off my hand.. enough please" she started feeling uncomfortable.

"I can predict that you are still holy. Do you want me to prove that?" Damar still had his hand covered her eyes. He got braver to go far with by days although she limited the contact.

Damar landed a flash kiss on her cheek. She was jolted with shock. Before she could control herself, someone from another side pushed Damar hard that the sound how the bodies collided was unavoidable. And that certainly disturbed other movie goers around them.

"Hey! Don't fight here!" a man sitting behind them warned them. Spontaneously Aruna walked down along that dark corridor and disappeared from that red carpet room. She left the two men without any words.

Damar was about to run after her but a strong hand gripped him hold him seated back before he could stand. "I don't know who you are but I think you are too much. Never leave your sense when you fall in love"

"And who the hell are you? Don't you know if she is a wife of a man? You are pretty brave as a stranger!" Both men criticized to each other.

"Well..we both know that she will have a divorce soon. Let's compete in an elegant way " Rey stood up.

"Save those words for yourself" Damar stood up as well. That tall man walked faster out the cinema to find Aruna.

.

"Sir" an assistant pointed to a phone that was ringing.

A man called Sir was talking to his colleagues. He cocked his head to the side to check his mobile phone in his assistant hand. he docked his head to whisper at him : "Tell her, I'll call her back"

"Of course, Sir" he stepped backward and picked up the call. It was from Aruna.

"Hello Miss, I'm sorry, Mr. Hendra could not pick up your call at the moment. He will call you back soon"

"Err.. okay.."

"Wait! Is there anything wrong? I'm sorry for asking but your voice sounds weird"

"No, nothing is wrong.." Aruna voice was not convincing enough. The assistant grew more suspicious.

"Please wait a moment, I will tell to Mr. Hendra. Don't hung up" He walked and penetrate into the exclusive room where Hendra was having dinner with his colleagues.

"Sir, it seems your wife is crying" he whispered to him.
