They were a team for some things then. 'Presumably you'd bring them over for the same reason you're bringing the Constantine's? Shock value. Is that enough? It's not as though they're crucial witnesses.'

Elisabeth wanted no arguments. 'When all's said and done Russell's only a kid. They're invaluable from his point of view. It's probably driving him to despair that there's no-one here for him.'

'But,' Robert pointed out, 'If he's telling the truth, he wouldn't know them if he fell over them.'

Elisabeth let her feelings show. 'Do males take silly pills as they get older, so they forget what a bit of unconditional incoming love feels like?' Robert wasn't sure how to react and lost his chance. By way of dismissal Elisabeth said, 'I'd like to talk to Dr Walker about Russell and then I want to go out to the crime scene and have a chat with Eleni and Christopher Stavros.'
