Liam was quick to analyse the situation. He had already lost a limb and it could only be used as a static structure with no energy flow from it. that is the only way it would be of any benefit to him. The enemy was proficient in close combat and his experience was way more than his. he had to come up with a quick and efficient way to deliver a series of serious blows and end the fight early or this would be his loss for sure.

The general idea dictated that since one of the limbs was out of the older, the opponent would be targeting another one of the main limbs or core areas where damage and death would result in severe injury. At the same time, the side on the injured limb would be the one most susceptible to attacks and hence the attack would come from that direction.
