Laxus pov
I'm really starting to get nervous at this point checking my watch to see if she forgot the time. I don't know what other reasonable excuse there is to why she's not here right now. I'm just about to hop in my car and leave on my own when I see her walk down the stairs. It's works very well on her and goes with the places that I'm taking her to. It's like she could read my mind or something because I didn't tell her how to dress. She probably would've gotten mad at me if I told her how to dress honestly. I think I'm staring too long because she's suddenly at the bottom of the stairs.
She wasn't there a second ago and was just at the top emerging slowly and I wanted to escort her down since she was in heels. Sadly I didn't get the chance to because she's right in front of me now. She snaps me out of my trance when she says "take a picture it'll last longer." I pull out my phone and take a really quick picture of her saving it as my Home Screen really quickly so I can always look at her whenever I want to. I really miss her and her sassy remarks when she's not right there with me. I give her my signature cheeky smile in response to her glare which just amuses me doesn't make me scared.
I don't want to be too distracted since I do have a plan for tonight which cannot be delayed for any reason. I clear my throat and lead the way to my car which is a black Lamborghini. It has a giant lightning bolt on both sides of the car. The car has premium leather seats that are lined with red for the interior. This car was custom-made just to fit me and is worth a pretty penny but is totally worth it. She runs her fingers along the edges probably a car connoisseur like me which I can define toy appreciate in a girl.
I open the door for Lucy and let her get in the car before I go to hop in the driver seat. We've been on the road for about half an hour now. She's hooked her phone up to the car stereo instead of the radio. She's been jamming out with her awful singing voice I don't know how much more of that I can take.
At last she turns it off and seems to be getting a bit impatient I can tell since she starts to tap her foot on the ground. That's when she starts complaining about how long it's taking to get there. I still haven't even told her where we're going yet I wanted it to be a surprise but it's hard with her constantly asking me. I sigh in relief once I see the place coming closer to us as we keep on driving really faintly in the distance like an outline of it. It's like a shadow cast over a mountain or person basically.
We pull up and I back into the stall like usual it's just a natural habit of mine. She gets out so quickly that I don't even have time to come to her side. Probably because of the anticipation of waiting in the car until we got here. She's not a patient person just don't let her know that I've ever said that or even thought it. She would kill me and that woman is scary as hell when she wants to be. That's one of the things I really like about her yeah that's right like nothing else definitely.
I'm not really sure about some of her interests yet so this is a simple dinner at a restaurant. We haven't talked all too much after the other night and I don't want to scare her again. I would feel worse than I already do if that happened. We went to one of my favorite places in the whole world. I used to go here all the time with my parents when I was younger and still in elementary school and high school. It's called Merrimans it's kind of an unusual name and I don't know much about it's history.
Lucy's pov
There are two men with suits at the huge front doors to hold it open for us as we walk I thank them as we pass not wanting to be rude. I gasp at the sight before me when I look up and see a chandelier. I'm amazed at the sight of it in all it's glory I've never seen one before in my life which is probably surprising to all of you considering I come from a very prestigious family. We lead a very sheltered life to say the least. I give it one quick spin looking around me and taking it all in. This is really truly wonderful I hardly even notice that anyone is around me and struggle to catch up to Laxus as we get seated.
He must've made reservations because we would've been waiting for hours with this line of people. Most of them probably came a long time before us and we're waiting while we waltz in here and get in a matter of minutes. I feel kind of bad for them that they still have to wait a lot longer than us. It's kind of crowded but it's still nice to be here especially with who I'm with right now. I couldn't be happier than I am right at this moment.
How will the date go?
Will there be any interruptions or will it go smoothly?
So sorry for the late updates I've been so busy with my school work and I just got 4 new classes piled onto me on top of all of my regular assignments. I have to work on it at home a ton that I forget about this and am drowning in that.
