Laxus is currently looking for a maid. He doesn't do anything himself and is not looking for anyone or anything when Lucy turned up. He thinks that he doesn't need anyone but himself. Lucy is a hard working kind of girl who works for what she wants and doesn't just have it handed to her. Although people like him usually aren't her type but she finds herself falling for him. Will they end up meeting and will she get the job? Will it turn into something else?

This is not your typical Lucy is a wimp who gets kicked off team Natsu and Lisanna is the bitch who manipulated Natsu and now they're all mistreating her so she runs into Laxus' arms. Then she gets training and goes stronger and comes back to fight him. No my story is different this is only my 2nd story which has gone through a lot of editing. So I hope that you give it a chance and please just click on it.

Hiring

When we walk in the restaurant there is a guy at the front desk and Laxus walks up to them. When he says his name their eyes widen in recognition of the name which I still don't get even after all this time. She calls over a waitress who almost immediately comes over and leads us to a table. It's looks like a golden Archway thing complete with silver beads going down as the curtain to give us more privacy. The space is about the same size as a gazebo overlooking the water which is absolutely beautiful. There are lily pads, lilies and other beautiful flowers which complement those very nicely. This probably costed him a lot of money to get this specific spot and not everywhere has places like these. I'm grateful that he did though this is totally worth it.


I look over the menu and realize how expensive everything is here. I glance over Laxus real quick without him noticing then find the cheapest thing on the menu. I'm sticking with appetizers and just water no extra drink besides I'm not really that hungry anyway. When I'm ordering truffle fries and biscuits he doesn't look too happy. He speaks up and says "Brandon, can you give us a minute please." I'm assuming he's referring to our waiter who nods in acknowledgement and says "ok I will if you need me just ask I will give you two a couple more minutes to decide until you are ready to order take your time." With that he quickly walks away to do something else probably to serve or seat another customer. 


"You should order anything you want" he tells me once the waiter is far enough away to be out of ear shot. "I am getting what I want to eat" I insist stubbornly "besides I'm not really that hungry anyway I add in to further my point." Laxus gets up kind of abruptly and I go to follow until he says "no stay here." "I'm not a dog or anything" I snap at him putting my head on the palm of my hand and looking up at him. Surprisingly I'm not really afraid to say what I feel if it's to him anymore like I used to be. He sighs and tries again "I'm sorry can you please wait here for a second."


I nod in approval of his statement and how he corrected it letting him leave go wherever he is going not that I'm not curious I am. I just don't want to lose his trust by getting up and going to follow him. I'm probably going to play it safe and just stay here until he gets back even though that's the more boring option. 


I pull out my phone which I have Netflix on which is my absolute favorite streaming service. I previously downloaded some of the episodes for my favorite TV shows I watch. I put in my AirPods and I just binge watch The Flash. I know I'm a sucker for the show but I'm absolutely loving it I'm in as far as season 4. I know what you think I'm a celestial wizard watching The Flash but whatever I love it anyway don't judge me. 


I'm so caught up in my show I don't even realize when someone stops right in front of me at the table. That is until they tap me on my shoulder I press pause on my show and look up to see what they want. I make sure to pull out my AirPods because that's really rude to leave them in when somebody's talking. 


I don't recognize the person who was standing right in front of me until they say something that brings back memories. I'm probably staring and looking at them like an idiot for too long because that's when the choose to say something to me. This person looks like a man and he said "don't you remember me I told you I'll always find you no matter where you go we are linked by the heart."


Why did he get up and leave her there alone?
