Chapter 18 F.R.I.E.N.D.S

The framing of family zero as betrayers was not publicized, so many people didn't know about the zero family. They only thought they were named because they were so weak and did no contributions to the war.

"No.0, huh, Weakest family still got the guts to fight.", said Karl and he turned and looked at Kelly and Jasmine, "Why are you two still standing here, get out of my sight, if it's a tie it means you both lost".

Kelly and Jasmine looked at each other, they shrugged and chuckled and they looked at the pathetic state of their teacher after Ben mocked him and left the class.

It was almost time for lunch. Every class got over and everyone moved towards the cafeteria. Ben looked at an empty table and called out to Ricky and both of them sat at the table. Ricky and Ben took out the lunch Ben's mother made and started to eat. "Can we join you guys", asked Kelly and Jasmine slowly moving towards their table. "Yes", said Ben and Ricky.

Another pair of voices was heard again, "Can we also join", asked Li Shin and Max."Yes", they answered again.

The six of them sat together and ate, smiled, and shared stories. They had a good time and they decided to stick together. Li asked Ben about his fighting technique and Ben told him about how he learned it from his father for the last 6 days. "Only for six days, yet you would have been able to defeat me, if not for your spectacles", said Li shocked at what he heard from Ben. "Ben's just special, even though I learned the same from Ben's dad I won't be able to repeat what Ben did", said Ricky praising the prodigious talent of Ben.

"I too wish to learn the technique, Can I?", asked Li Shin, "We too want to learn martial arts as we can't learn combat classes now", asked the others.

"I can't make the decision on my own, I'll ask my dad and inform you guys okay," said Ben and everyone agreed. Ben quickly messaged his dad in his smartwatch asking about the classes. They all ate lunch and went to their afternoon classes. It was combat class again. So Ricky and Li Shin left for combat classes and the other four left for cyborg mod classes. This day was the first day for the start of cyborg mod classes, as for one whole month they were only taught combat classes and subject classes, as combat classes were introduced this year only. Cyborg mod class was an elective and can be chosen instead of some classes including combat classes and it was available for all students even juniors. It requires a lot of brains and doing work that has nothing to do with combat.

So people often ignored this class and hated it.

Normally, a class had up to 60 people, even though it was a mixed class for the entire school, only 25 people were sitting in the cyborg mod class including the teacher.

It was the first day and they were teaching about the different types of mods and their grade system.
