Chapter 22 Assimilation

A single search appeared before him, and it showed the words,

'Bionic eyes'.

Ben searched for the book and found it in a place where people didn't often take books from, the shelf and the books in it were very old.

Ben found the book that he looked for, it was a book with very few pages. The title of the book was 'Eyes of gold,the Bionic eyes' and the author's name was Franklin Gold, Ben thought it was a children's storybook after seeing the title of the book as it was written very childishly.

Ben opened the book, the first page was empty, so was the second and it continued and only five pages of the book were left out of the 45 pages, Ben thought that the book was empty and was about to return it to its place, but when he opened the next page words were written and he read it, "Bionic eyes was one of the most important development in the year 2044 along with the heart of cyborg mechanism, using bionic eyes can help the combatant analyze the opponent during a fight and they also help in predicting attacks. When the control over bionic eyes increases, a person can almost become invincible in combat and there were also other powers the eyes granted, but the bionic eyes couldn't be used for more than a year, as the persons using them die due to incomprehensible brain damage and loss of mod energy, so the bionic eyes production was stopped. My creation was considered useless, but I didn't give up, I created a pair of eyes stronger than every bionic eye ever created and I perfected it for three years and even used some alien tech on it, I tried one eye on myself as I couldn't ask for others to test it because bionic eyes became banned. I became a cyborg, the new version introduced by Daniel Denvers which doesn't cause death when the mod energy becomes completely depleted. I assimilated with the eye and it increased my mod energy exponentially, I tried to test it with a combat machine, it helped me predict combat moves, but I got hit as I sucked at combat. I tried analyzing the power of every person I saw, the eye on my right was like any other normal eye but when I gave it some mod energy it helped me find the power of others. I don't wish to explain more about the power of the eye as it has to remain confidential. If you are reading this, then you must be one of the government officials or the owner of the other eye which I have placed in the gacha. I didn't want anyone to get the blueprint of the eyes I created so I destroyed it and if you are searching for the other eye I have placed it in the gacha as it is governed by the Quantum Supercomputer AI, no one can take it from it unless he wins it, not even the World leader. I observed the world after the wars for 40 years and I thought humans would change, I thought they would become powerful enough to change themselves, get rid of poverty and discrimination, but it continues and even I was made subject to it, so I had no choice but to do this, and even after I wore this eye for 40 years I don't feel any danger to my life, I feel young and strong as ever. I didn't do this to put the human side at a disadvantage, I wanted to power up every human so that they can be the strongest in the universe, that's why I created these eyes. But the hatred and foolishness in humans have not changed and it would only destroy the human race if I revealed this power. I don't have much longer to live, before the officials find this book I will be long gone as I have made it so that it can be published through my will. Ben closed the book and couldn't get over the shock of what he had just read. He stood there for a while thinking about everything he had just read, then he slowly placed the book on the shelf and returned home. He didn't know what to do next, he slowly went towards his room changed his dress and sat on his desk, he knew that if he got assimilated with the eye the world around him would change, the lives of every people in the world will depend on the path that he takes.

He sighed and slowly took out the ball from his bag and placed it on the bed, He had resolved to bring peace to the world, so he knew he would have to go against the will of most of the people in the world to achieve it and to do that he needed this power. Ben placed the ball on the bed and went for eating his dinner. He thought he would get assimilated to the eye early in the morning before going to school with the help of his grandma as she knew how to do it.
