Hi ,my name is Kevin Frejlord Denver.

I was a normal person.

About 5 years ago, my family got killed.

They said it was caused because of an unknown reason.

I got nothing to lose anymore. I am lost.

And I don't know what to do.

I just started enjoying my life. My family were normal people, and so was I. We belonged to an influential family on my father's side.

My father, mother, sister and I were normal people and not cyborgized as they wanted to live a life along with nature.

I got to go to school, even though I was normal.

I was good at everything, even with no mods.

I made my family proud. I brought them recognition from cyborgized people.

I was a prodigy. They made me well versed in all forms of martial arts, as I was interested in it.

I trained my body well, so that I could win over cyborgs even though I was normal.

It was my birthday on that day it happened; I had just turned 13.

I was inside my house. My parents and sister went out to bring the cake.

It was an evening time, I could feel an immense eerie feeling pass over me.

I went out to check what was going on.

Suddenly, alarms started blaring.

All I remember was waking up after an hour in a hospital, and hearing that most of the normal people in the world, and some cyborgs, lost their lives and my family members also lost their lives.

About 1 billion people died on that day.

I want to be an avenger.

I want to avenge my parents.

The candidates taken for the draft were being interviewed.

Unlike the last time.

The council had found some good potential candidates this time than the last year.

Kevin wiped his eyes and went towards his dormitory, which they had assigned him.

They divided the dormitory into four. They assigned the dormitory for Kevin to be in the elite class dormitory.

Commoner fighter class, Commoner support class, Commoner flight class, Elite class.

He wanted to do something.

But, he didn't know what to do, so Kevin went towards the training site to train.

He went towards the virtual reality center inside the training site and put on the Immersive Virtual World Interface on his head.

A private organization backed by Quantum AI created this Virtual Interface.

So it did not leak the identity of the individuals to anyone.

They provided everyone with a virtual ID of their preference if available, so that their real identity stays hidden.

They could also change their face and appearance.

It connected this server to all the academies across the world, so that anyone could match up with anyone.

He entered his virtual tag, 'Power Infinity'

Then he started searching for opponents in the martial arts section.

Even after 4 hours, Kevin didn't break a sweat. He bested every opponent flawlessly.

'Is there anyone who can fight me properly? ', Kevin thought to himself.

But he didn't find any. Another hour passed by, and he was about to shut down the interface.

But he clicked on matchmaking unknowingly.

Before he could match up, he tried to cancel it.

But it didn't work because he got matched up with someone named Zero.

He had a perfect streak of 99, and he had never lost a fight in the entire session.

'So this guy is going to be the 100th opponent today, huh?', thought Kevin.

But to his surprise, when the character arrived in front of him, it shocked him to see a girl in front.

3...2.....1.......FIGHT

The System started the fight.

Kevin quickly came to his senses and started the attack first, whereas the girl stood in the same place and was watching the moves of Kevin.

Kevin attacked the girl with some basic moves, the girl dodged them effortlessly.

He increased his attack speed and strength. The girl still dodged them effortlessly.

It was as if she knew where he was going to attack next.

He increased the speed even further and started using combos.

The girl couldn't dodge everything. But she could block some moves and land a hit on Kevin.

The hp bar went down a bit. Kevin felt happy, for it was the first time someone had done this to him this entire time.

The girl's hp also had reduced down to half.

The battle continued for some time. By the way, the girl was fighting.

Kevin knew she lacked experience in fights.

But he still felt overwhelmed that she could keep up with him for this much time.

The fight ended soon.

Kevin wanted some answers.

So he asked her,' What is the name of the martial arts technique you use?'

But there was no reply.

Since there was no reply, he added her as a friend and decide to quit the game.

His friend request got quickly accepted, but still there were no replies for his question.

So he logged off, and the girl also logged off.
