Pregnancy? Whose pregnancy?

 She also didn't understand how she became pregnant out of no where.

 She was definitely in a nightmare!!

 Lee Xue couldn't believe it or figure out how even after the repeated tests that she had done in the hospital.

 Her throat tightened and she started having a short intake of breath.

 " I-I... I don't know... "

 An involuntary whimper escaped her lips as a single drop of tear welled up from the corner of her eyes.

 PIAK!!

 PIAK!!

Two resounding slaps across her cheeks sent Lee Xue crawling on the hard and cold floor in a disheveled heap.

 " You are not my daughter! You're such a disgrace in this family.

Pack up your filthy belongings and leave, I should have left you to die in poverty if I knew you'd be such a looser. I don't ever want to see your dirty face again. "

 " Mom I didn't... "

A handsome and cold man's face suddenly appeared towering above Lee Xue.

 He was very tall and his eyes were full of disdain as he gazed down at her as if she was the most disgusting thing he had ever laid his eyes on.

 He tossed some pictures on her face, their sharp edges grazing her red and swollen cheeks causing blood to ooze out of the cuts.

 His words were also as cold as ice.

 " Haven't I always told you that he's the reason we're having problems in this relationship? "

 With a blurry vision, Lee Xue spotted a picture that was on her sight where a man and a woman were cuddling naked on the bed.

 Recognizing herself, her eyes widened in shock as she felt as if her world had turned upside down.

 How did that happen? When?

 And why couldn't she remember anything?

 With a shaking hand she pointed at the photo, " how... how could it be him? How did this happen? "

 Sneering at her reaction, Liu Rong scoffed.

 " Come on tell me... What were you planning? What's on your mind? Pin that bastard's illegitimate child on me? "

 " How much more shameless can you get, you're still denying having slept with a man? Oh, now you're suddenly virgin Mary right?

"Else where on earth did that bastard in your stomach come from? "

 " Now I'm not even shocked that your bogus medical license was revoked. Maybe you really killed that patient... "

 " Rong please don't say that... I don't know... I can explain... "

 " Don't! I've told you countless times to get rid of that pest Li Zixuan but not only did you not do so but you went ahead to spread your dirty legs for that poor bastard. "

 " I Liu Rong will never marry a sl*t like you!! "

 Lee Xue shrank at a corner holding her burning cheeks with a trembling hand. The other hand clenched her abdomen area with obvious pain.

 Complete hopelessness converted into tears that rained down her face at a lightning speed.

 Present day, in the Capital. 

 Eleanor slowly wiped the hot tears flowing on her face trying to push back the memories that almost destroyed her life. After years of countless therapies, she had sworn to herself that she'd never shed a tear for those ingrates again.

This time, she didn't return to the country after 5 years abroad to be sad. Her being sad and in pain would only serve to satisfy the vanity of her tormenters.

 Anyway, this time she came back to Continent M for good after her close friend and business partner almost got assassinated.

 Speaking of which, if she had someone to thank for pulling her from death, Kimberly Lee deserved most of her gratitude. 

 Before Eleanor Lee's tragedy happened, she had been a young and naive Lee Xue, the daughter of a small rich Lee family in City A. ( Not related to the overseas aristocratic Lee Family.)

 She actually shared so much in common with Kimberly.

Lee Xue the youngest daughter of City A's Lee family had always lived as a shadow of her astounding elder sister Lee LiNa. In the eyes of everyone, Lee LiNa was the perfect daughter that everyone would wish to have in their homes.

She was kind & remarkable may it be her grades or talents, beautiful and so on. She was the neighbor's child that would be used to educate other kids.

 The second daughter Lee Xue on the other hand was the scourge of the family. She was timid, introverted, old-fashioned and boring. Lee LiNa was their parent's favourite child while Lee Xue was the scorn that everybody hated and trampled on.

 Eleanor couldn't even remember if there was even a single day that her parents had ever treated her kindly. If not beatings or scoldings, then it was endless degrading insults and humiliations.

The only redeeming quality about her was that she had a good fiance, the young master of the Liu family, one of the top families in City A. Her engagement with Liu Rong had been made by old master Liu back when he was still alive. Old master Liu had a favourable attitude towards her. He was one of the few people that Lee Xue could remember, who treated her very well.

Unfortunately, the marriage didn't come to see the light of the day after the old master passed away. Lee Xue was schemed against and became pregnant few days before her wedding day. 

Not only was she humiliated and became City A's laughingstock, her vicious family even locked her in a mental hospital meant for the lunatics and drug addicts with the most serious cases in the province and hired people to torture her every day and night.

It was a miracle that she never lost her pregnancy and came back alive 2 months later from the mental hospital.

Her little baby Sherry was truly a fighter. The Song family, especially Song Enya's dad had done everything he could to rescue her. After she was rescued, they took her with them and migrated to London in order to hide and also seek medical and psychological treatment for Lee Xue who had also turned like a mentally ill person after 2 months of torment in the mental institution.

Lee Xue lived in a daze for a whole year. For a whole year , she never spoke a word or showed the slightest reaction to her surroundings. She never ate or drank anything. She just spent her days staring into blank space without showing any emotions. She basically lived like a soulless doll without responding to any stimulation. Not even when Sherry was being born. She had to go through surgery in order to give birth.

Sherry was born prematurely and very weak from lack of enough nutrients while in the womb.

 This continued until Lee Xue escaped out of the house in a daze while no one was watching her. It was Kimberly Lee who rescued her miles away from home in the middle of the night. What Kim told her forcefully woke her up from her daze. Yes! She had to get revenge and punish those who caused her misery. She also had two children who depended on her for survival so she couldn't continue lying to herself and continue living in her own peaceful world of fantasy. She had 2 kids to protect.

 Effie Lee alias Sherry was the child she gave birth to while Liam was her adopted son. She had a former friend in Continent M who worked in an orphanage where Liam was abandoned as a newborn baby thus decided to adopt the baby. Unfortunately, the friend passed away leaving the one year old boy to Lee Xue to bring him up. Thus Liam became Lee Xue's adopted son, earlier before her failed wedding with Liu Rong.

 Kimberly Lee then took her in and unknown to the public, Lee Xue was added to the UK's Lee family's Family Tree thus became Kim's adopted sister. Her name also changed from Lee Xue of City A's small Lee family to Eleanor Lee of the aristocratic Lee Family in Britain. Her kids were also added to the family tree as Liam Lee and Effie Lee.

 Since then, the 3, Kimberly, Eleanor and the 16 year old highschooler Ethan Hale, became close friends and business partners.

They worked their asses off day & night to create the amount of wealth, power and influence they have now that could shake the world.

 Only few people knew that the formerly timid and despised Lee Xue was now Dr. Nell, the world's most sought after God of surgeries. 

How would those who trampled on her react when they found out?

Eleanor smirked evilly looking forward to that day.

 As for Sherry's biological father, Eleanor didn't know how to feel about him. She didn't know him or where he had come from but he was a man who suddenly barged into her life showering her with love. At first she hated him for always interfering in her relationship with Liu Rong, loathed him for secretly taking advantage of her making her pregnant thus causing her endless trauma but as days went by and she found out the truth that he was also tricked, that he also didn't know the person that he had a one night stand with that day was her, her hatred vanished.

Honestly speaking, Li Zixuan was really the only person who had loved her truthfully and selflessly but unfortunately, due to her being stupid and blind, she heartlessly pushed him away missing out on such a good man. Or so she thought...

 Pushing those thoughts to the deepest part in her heart , Eleanor took a deep breath before walking to the bathroom for a shower.

It was all in the past and she'd never go through that kind of pain again. She had worked so hard even risking her life multiple times to make sure that nobody would ever trample her under their dirty feet again. Unless they were courting death!
