Chapter 66. Eleanor Lee drowning

Li Zixuan carried the unconscious petite woman out of the water and placed her on the ground.

      Their clothes were dripping wet.

         His hands trembled and his eyes flashed with panic as he laid them on the woman's pale white face.

     She looked sickly and breathless.

          " Call an ambulance! "

    He shouted an order to his younger brother who had been frozen in shock.

     Li Jian snapped back and immediately made a call.

     Li Zixuan placed his ear next to Ellen's mouth and nose glancing at her chest to see if it was moving.

       He failed to detect her pulse.

      She hadn't drowned for long before he rescued her.

      Did something happen to her before she was shoved into the pool?

     He wondered checking whether she had any head injuries in case her head fell on something hard inside the pool.
