S2| 13. Attack on the Ferris Wheel

With a stiff blink, Mia glanced at Julian who was sitting across from her. The man was observing the scenery outside the window. His hands clasped together on the lap, doing nothing meaningful. However, the girl felt that she was being threatened.

“Tsk, how come I can be in such a narrow space together with Mr. Julian?” thought the secretary, taking in a very heavy breath. "What should we do now?"

Suddenly, the man turned away from the window. In just an instant, Mia was wide-eyed and turned her head in a different direction.

"Ah, why am I being so awkward?" the girl regretted, trying to keep her straight face.

"Woah! We haven't reached the peak. However, the view is already amazing,” Julian said with a bright smile.

Instead of responding warmly, Mia straightened her back which was as stiff as her face. "It will be more beautiful if you see it when the sun is still shining," the girl implied, trying to remove the awkwardness.
