Seeing the answer of the daughter through a briefly raised shoulder, Minnie's smile suddenly turned sad. She understood that sometimes, feelings were hard to tame. 


"I don't know if this request is cruel or not, but ... I hope Mr. Julian's meeting with that woman does not go smoothly," she said in a low voice. "I want my daughter to be happy."
