“Lee…” Calista couldn’t believe what she just heard. She whispered his name as a mere grumble, and her lips were quivering while doing so.

The man understood her uneasiness. He retrieved his hands and was just about to stuff them back in his pant pockets when another pair of delicate hands gripped them and kept them at their previous place. She didn’t enjoy his idea of leaving her untouched like that.

His pupils dilated a bit. He didn’t believe the act she just displayed. Leevon smiled affectionately looking at her eyes. He was aware of her identity, and of the fact that she wanted to tell him this truth. But he knew they were living on borrowed time. All he wanted was just to spend it peacefully, loving her, rather than the truth games.
