Chapter 23

When Camilla's time to leave work arrived, she was exhausted. They had two meetings in the afternoon and one of the clients was a demanding woman, and worse, she didn't seem to understand what was explained to her. Camilla's brains were boiling.

Alex called her a few minutes later. His voice as he spoke was so excited that Camilla felt guilty for saying she wasn't feeling too well, unfortunately.

'Gee… I need to talk to you about something important." Alex said. "But if you're not well, we can talk tomorrow morning. Breakfast here at home?" he offered.

"All right. But now I'm going to be thinking about what you have to talk to me about." she complained. "I am curious and anxious, Alex!"

'Forgiveness! But you can be calm. It's important, but it can wait. Now, worry about resting to get better soon. I would love to go over there and spend the whole night taking care of you.'
