Chapter 28

Camilla woke up sweating. She had a horrible nightmare in which lunch at the Strauss's was a complete disaster.

In the nightmare, Alex and she were going together, and until then, everything was great. Him was being thoughtful and caring like never before. They arrived at the residence, which was flanked by beautiful flowers. However, when she arrived at the lunch table, four people were waiting for her. They had no face.

Camilla tripped and pulled the tablecloth off the table, and then the four faceless shadows would burst out laughing and yelling at her. Camilla was turning around to find support on her 'boyfriend' and Alex had become one of the shadows too. She ran out and the beautiful mansion and the flower garden was gone, replaced by dead flowers and rotting vegetation. The gates, once golden, were now black and rusted.
