Chapter 48

"Hi!" a lady with almost completely white hair appeared in Camilla's bedroom door. Alex had warned her that the lady who worked at his house would be back that day, which was quite providential, after all, Camilla was injured and Alex didn't want her to be going up and down stairs.

"Hey!" Camilla greeted her with a smile.

"I'm Isadora Hill. Mr Alex asked me to help you with whatever you needed."

Camilla realizes that the old woman treated her like 'ma'am'.

"I'm 'Miss', still." She spoke, a little embarrassed.

"Oh, pardon! Sir Alex referred to you… miss as his wife."

Camilla's eyes widened and her mouth opened. Did he introduce you as his wife? She didn't even know what to say.

"I believe you haven't had breakfast yet, right?" She asked.

"No not yet." Camilla replied, pulling herself together.

"Then I'll prepare something and I'll bring it to you right away. Is there anything in particular you want to eat or drink?"
