Chapter 95

After they took care of Taran's wounds, Emma finished preparing the meal and they went to the table, sitting there and starting to eat. 

"I'm so sorry I didn't give you attention yesterday." Taran said. 

"You don't need to worry. I was good. I am good." Emma said. She wanted to eat and save some for Alex. She would have to preparare more for him, anyway, she reminded herself. He is big and, therefore, must eat a lot to keep his constitution. She blushed after thinking about him and Taran, who was watching her, raised an eyebrow.

"Are you okay?" He asked. Emma was still caught up in her thoughts and Taran put his hand over her arm and it startled her. 

"Oh!" She said. "I-m.. sorry. I was just thinking." 

"Yeah, I noticed." Taran said and looked at her, quizzically. She was crimson red. It was like she was thinking about it. Taran's face fell. 'Fuck!', he thought, 'what if she heard me and Dani?'
