20- Heartbreak

Mariyah woke up, she recalled what happened last night and decided not to unpack, she was going to leave him today, they'll break up and become just a PA and a Boss, nothing more that that. She freshened up and made her way downstairs with her luggage and there he was with those damn girls again! "Don't do it." Devin warned her again. "Devin, I know you like me and stuff but this is my choice okay, so leave me alone and let me be." she snapped at him. "Actions have consequences Mariyah." he said again but Mariyah ignored him she went downstairs with her luggage and angrily walked to them. "Hello ladies, are you enjoying him right you know talking and flirting with him, probably even madd out with him." she said , the girls looked at her confused, Devonte kept on using his hands to tell Mariyah to shut up but her anger was just too much. "Did you guys know he has a girlfriend, me okay I'm his freaking girlfriend!" she screamed at them then Devin pulled her back. "Ignore her please, she's delirious, just imaging things." and he pulled her back. "Dammit Devin leave me alone!" she screamed, he just awkwardly laughed and dragged her to a room, he locked the door and pinned her to the wall. "Stop it Mariyah, stop being impulsive, those girls aren't ordinary people okay? So just wait did them to finish their business." he said while staring into her eyes. "BUSINESS? You're encouraging this nonsense, but you know what I'll stay here and have a little chit chat with him." she replied as she pushed him away from her, she sat on the chair and waited, ready to break his heart into pieces.

After what seemed like forever, Devonte came into the room. "Thank you Devin." , Devib left without saying a word. "Devonte, I'm done alright? I'm done with you, those girl were sitting really close to you and touching your body like you're some-" before she could finish her sentence, Devonte smashed his lips on hers, she only allowed that to happened for a few seconds before she pushed him back. "I'm sorry , I didn't do any with them." he said. "Well.. I think we need a break, we shouldn't date for some time, maybe I'm just not ready for this." she said as she looked at his teary eyes, she didn't need to see him cry. "Bye Devonte, see you at work." she said and left the room.

Devonte couldn't believe what just happened, he just lost a gem, she was the first girl who rejected him. He just stood there still processing what to do in his mind. "So aren't you going to run after her." Devin asked from behind. He turned at him, "Nope, she'll come back to me either ways." he said as he smirked, "Take Elena to my room now." , "No way, you said you weren't going to do it." Devin responded, "I didn't touch her throughout our 1 week relationship and now we have broken up so.. yes I'm allowed." he said as he went to the girls in the living room. "Ignore her, she's just another one of those petty people." he said as he went back to join them.

Devin and Davis were watching from behind, "Master's doing this again." he said while Devin started to think through this, Devonte didn't deserve Mariyah, she deserved someone better someone who wouldn't treat her like a rag and he decided to have a talk with her.
