Closing Deadline

(Yao Ya POV)

'Those bastards! How dare they interrupt my time with him! They must be punished for such acts. Just like that so called young master from before. He said he was in the top ten for selections rights? That won't be for long, as for those two following him well I have something else in store for them.'

When I opened my eyes he was still sleeping there like a baby. I felt my eye twitch a little as I saw another pair arms around him though, it was of course Li Lian. I still can't fully get used to this agreement, but it'll have to do.

The moment I sat up the bed shifted a bit.

"Are you going to do what I think you're doing?" The voice called out to me

"What do you mean?" feinting my knowledge of what she meant

"Aren't you going to do something to those three?"

"...Yes"

"Why don't you let me tag along? I want to help you and maybe I could provide some suggestions." flashing me a slightly wicked smile

'I've never done this with another person before. It's usually just me who would do everything by myself. Maybe a hand could help me out.'

"Alright, but what about him? Can you really just leave him alone like that?" poking the man lying on the bed.

"Oh, don't worry about him. Didn't he used to be in this room by himself anyway? Anyways I have something to know if anything happens too him, so it's fine!" joining me in poking him

Getting up off the bed after I felt I had poked him enough "Well let's go find those three, shall we?"

"I agree, this has been plenty of time for them to go unpunished. This should be done as soon as possible. The only reason they got away was because he was probably hurt by their words. And we as his guardians just had to comfort him after the trauma they induced."

"That's right, there was no other reason we had to stay behind. I could imagine the tears sliding down his face if we weren't here, luckily we were."

"That's enough, we have to find those three."

"En, but first." I quickly lowered my head onto his face giving him a quick kiss on the cheek

"Oh, I almost forgot!" She leaned down as well but kissed him on his lips

"What, hey! I haven't even done that with him yet! Why are you doing it?!"

"Oh, we really must be going now! Come on, how long do you plan to let them get away with it?" She says turning into her little spider form before hopping onto my shoulder.

"Fine, But you better tell me afterwards!" leaving the building

It wasn't too difficult locating them especially with Li Lian helping me out along the way. Two of them already lived together while the third one was somewhere else, but we managed to gather all of them up in the same house. Li Lian had drugged them with some kind of gas knocking them out while also tying them up with her webs and gagging them. I didn't even have to do anything, it was like I was just a bystander.

"How much longer do we have to wait until that gas of yours no longer has any affect?"

"We have until... now."

The moment she said now those men started waking up. Their eyelids opened as their bodies tried to move. Their eyes quickly opened and widened the moment they noticed they couldn't move.

"Hrrh.. MMMPH MMMPHHH" They tried speaking when they saw us, but the web gags wouldn't allow them.

They tried with all their might to break free from the webs that bound them, but nothing they tried worked. We had already taken their weapons away from them and even made sure they had none hidden in their clothes.

"So, how do you want to do this?" she said looking over at me

"Will they remember any of this?"

"I could wipe their memories if necessary."

"Perfect! Can you teach me how to shatter another's dantian?"

"Okay, but do you want to leave a visible wound?"

"No! Teach me the sneaky way!"

"Well, you first would have to place your hand over their stomach region. Then find their dantian using your senses you've gained by the second stage and insert your qi into him. Finally as your qi isn't his own the dantian will reject it, you will force your qi into it and create a crack. The greater the crack the harder to repair it, less usable it'll be, and easier it is for other's to see."

"Let me get the guy who was saying all those things about my man."

"Alright, I'll get the other two."

As I got closer to the man he tried his hardest to get away managing a quarter of a meter before I reached him. His anxious face got paler as I reached my hand down above his stomach. The three had heard our conversation and knew what would happen if my hand connected with him. He tried rolling over and any other ways of avoiding my touch. I eventually managed to pin him down by sitting on his waist.

Before I my hand reached I felt something poking my butt through the webbing.

'This disgusting pig dares to have such thoughts about me!? While I'm about to cripple him as a cultivator, this is what he thinks of!? What a vile man!'

Slamming my palm down onto his stomach I did as she instructed and created as big a crack I could in it. He was crying and screaming through his gag the entire process.

By the end of the process the man was unconscious as were the others that she had taken care of.

(MC POV)

Sending in all of the strands I have into my dantian I begin circulating them to start it up. After half a minute it starts to show a reaction sucking in the strands and spinning on it's own around the core without any guidance. I slowly started to compress it and push it inward toward the center. Once it was inside it could start being used, as paths would start to open up throughout my body. The rotating strands slowly went into the dantian centimeter by centimeter.

Once fully in I could sense the area around me. It was like I had always had this ability. Approximately 5 meters around it was like I had some kind of 360 degree vision. I could see my entire room if I wanted to. I can't maintain this forever though. It seems like 5 minutes is my max, I'll definitely need to improve on that.

'That breakthrough wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. Is it just me? Most of those cultivation novels seem like it would be hard to advance if you were a normal cultivator. Although I have the lowest possible score on that tester thing I don't feel so bad.'

'I feel ready for that selection, wait won't others that have been doing this be even higher? The minimal stage required was the second, what if someone was already halfway or even in the third stage. I don't want to think about that actually.'
