Mind break

As the lady took me and McElroy this name is too complicated i am going to call him Mc and it fits him anyway 


As i and Mc continued she eventually led us to her village where it was like a festival like people dancing stalls for eating all around jesters, games , drinks , masks , exotic items  etc  


I asked where can we find a place to stay she replied" you can stay at an inn or set up a camp


outside town  " to which i said "i am  broke i cannot afford a tent not pay for the inn  "


Then i looked at the Mc and he removed a bag of coins from his pocket inside his jacket and handed it to her " is it enough "


Looking at the pouch she was shocked but when she opened the pouch her look changed in a second like someone was being scammed " if you are using counterfiet currency make it atleast look like the real coin " 


This meant that the money used is different in all worlds this was indeed a very smart move and abled a fresh start , broke 


"who doesn't know about the hero Helios " hearing her i understood that helios has been here while the Mc was confused so it means there are worlds where helios has not been so there is a possibility that there are.scraped world where douche is from


"Oh beautiful lady can you tell us what is the purpose.of the festival " everytime he opens his mouth he cringes so hard i would like to die but she ignored it 


" When the great calamity was on us .The gods bestowed divine powers on  Helios and he lifted the calamity from this land and later ascended into godhood from his powers he received but he left his powers his godhood and this world onto the next thus the name is hero's or God's ascension festival because of his ascendence "


"the festival last for 3 days each having different events and it symbolizes different things"


"the first day is for the celebration of hero's arrival  "


"the second day is the day of ascension in this day the men , women and children are bestowed with their suitable magic" when i heard this i stuttered "mmmagic like actual magic " she looked at me confused 


"don't you gate hunters use magic " she asked 


" No we don't " she quickly changed the topic 


"let's continue ,  the 3rd day is the day when a hero is announced which will receive an jewel that will help in his quest and then the festival ends " 


"we have a responsibility to help out gatebusters in honor of helios so everything is free here go wild ,meanwhile i will look for a tent " and we left on our way but i forgot to ask her where should we regroup
