Mind break

At night the festival was still on i asked laura to give up because it maybe would have been stolen .When she heard this she was in tears "what will i say to the chief that i lost the jewels which were going to be used to coronate the hero "


I tried consoling her because there was no way i was going to give it back after hearing that 


"don't worry let me talk to her i am sure that she will understand " after hearing that she calmed down a little 


After this we arrived at the village and to calm her down more and  i asked her "i forgot to ask but what is the name of the village "


huh weird names while wondering that what weird names could be a question struck me 


"how many different races are in this world "


"well there is horse races ,chicken races it is fun to see them run you can even bet on them it gives a different thrill ....." i never listened ahead because it felt like sarcasm


Anyway we reached the chief office i was shocked because of her attire i thought she sits on a chair always but that wasn't the case


we went into her office while she was doing paperwork i asked her " mam the jewels have lost or possibly stolen and we can't find them please forgive her she tried her best please forgive her "


she nodded and said "ok instead of forgiving you let me give you a proposition if you don't find it within the time of the hero's ascension the person who possess the stone will be declared the hero "


she finally stopped crying and replied "thank you mam i accept this proposition i swear i will bring back the stone "


"now go my child and don't disappoint me " and we left to leave when i turned back at her she was smiling as it was a clear indication of what she wanted 


as the first  day ended we (me and Mc) were forced to sleep in one tent so i thought it would be a good time to have a conversation between two gatebusters


"say how did you travel to this world and end up here "


" oh i came in after you , as you went through the portal i quickly followed and ended up here "  M said


 Jay : i thought only one guy could enter through the gate " 


MC : "it is unbelievable but i won't complain" M


Jay : X the true creator of all worlds . " 


MC : So who is this X someone you know .


Jay : ( A slight pause ) So what kind of life you lived until now " .


MC : I don't know I can't seem to remember much .


Jay : ( inner thought ) . I'd say something is suspicious. Better get him on my side fast .


Jay : "I want to offer a truce let's team up both of us like a duo because this is a new world for us so we could only trust each other " 


"I would like to take up on the offer " M
