Mind break

When i checked the contents of the book it was empty literally but when i closed the book the floor suddenly dropped and started working like a elevator the area could only fit in only one person and suddenly i was in front of a metal door and it opened and ahead lied a laboratory 


Why would a lab lie in a fantasy world literally there were hanging lamp lights which were emmiting light stong enough to light the whole area


The laboratory had various equipment all that i had already seen and some i don't recognize and there were large glass tubes big enough to hold animals but mostly all of them were broken 


On the other of the room there was another pedestial with something like my phone , stuck onto it 


I touched its screen and suddenly a hologram popped up


"To my son .I want to say that really love you very much . I hope you understand when you will grow up but my research is currently more important than you because in this world there are a lot of mysteries some are very mysterious cases that goes against legends itself . I am sorry for prioritizing my research before you "
