Mind break

Ths stranger was named Evan Swan . He is used to being living a harsh life . Abandon at birth raised by black market dealers . Then he was rescued by a master . He was trained in the art of fighting and mana . He married when he was 23 years old . He lived a happy life but not much about him is known . No reason is found why he turned into a bandit . And now he has been stuck in the loop of a curse for 3 years .


After seeing the reflection end i couldn't stop but feel empathy for him . He was crying on the spot where the illusion ended . 


Evan : Why does it always happen to me (crying )


             . How did i turn into a bandit . I had such a nice family . Why . Tell me WHY .


Jay : (Teary) It's okay . What you did was wrong . I know you feel it too . It's okay it will end soon .


Evan : How will it . It has continued for three years . I have always stood at the edge of desert wondering when i will be able to leave .


The moment i left i was back here.  I tried to kill myself but ended up here . I tried to end the curse but it all ended me being here . 


I am sorry that i tried to kill you . I couldn't stop my anger when i was back .


At this point the outpost had become silent . As all there was the relection of the past .


Jay : We'll help you end this curse once and for all  .


Evan : It's okay everyone says the same thing , everyonr tried yet i have been stuck here .


Jay  : I won't leave till i have ended your curse .


After hearing this Evan felt somewhat relieved. 


Evan : I know you are lying . But still i feel better now .


After this we tried to leave the desert . Mc was waiting at the gate . 


As we left the ground began to shake . We knew what was coming .It was our old nemesis the desert scourge . He was back for revenge .


This time he had been upgraged . Spikes everywhere.  It was going to hurt bad . We both took our stances as we withdrew our weapons .


But Evan just stepped forward with his sword . And just swinged the sword . And the desert scourge was in 2 pieces .


Both I and Mc were shocked. How did he even do it .


Mc : How did you manage to kill that darm worm with just a sword swing. 


Mc : Damn how could be mana used like that !


Evan : You underestimate mana . It seems you do not fully understand it yet .


Quest reward : Hint (Any thread is fine ) .


At the time i didn't notice my phone buzzing i could only look at Evan's bleeding hands . 


I tried to bandage it but he stopped me . 


Evan : It's fine if it will stop in a while .


I couldn't see his hands bleeding and he also had to carry that sword along with him .


I grabbed the spider silk from my bag and i punched a hole in his blade . I passed the silk through it and tied it .


"Here atleast you won't have to carry this sword in your hands anymore ".


Evan : No one has shown me this kind of kindness before . Thank you .


Evan : Because of your kindness i am now free from the curse .


Evan : The thread of kindness . If we meet again in the next life . I will repay it .


He completely dissappered from the desert . 


we were both very emotional at this point . But we had someplace to be at this time . So we carried on with the memories we made here .
