Spending time

How many memories have I lost I should try to recall . One of the gaps I noticed was the disappearance of the carriage .

I left my carriage at Chroma and when I destroyed the kingdom while fighting

..... Who ? did I fight again .

Let me recall first I fought the Old man , then the prince then hmm I see something blurred up . Maybe it's one of the points after I remember riding the carriage .

I went into the shadow forest because we were attacked . By who ? I see a blurred image again .

After we left the shadow forest I met and fought with

Phoenix Cleft . Then the town was attacked by demons .

After that I remember waking up in the rainforest .

This must be the point when I lost the carriage .

Jay : Hey McElroy you remember something , anything.

McElroy :

Hey remember when we left the shadow forest how many of us were there .

Jay :

Just the two of us why .

McElroy:

I remember there were more of us . I can't put my finger on it but I think there were at least 4 of us .

Jay :

Four of us ? Did we team up with someone ?

McElroy:

I'm just as clueless as you .

Paladin :

There is lots of time to wonder what you have lost . But now we must move .

The carriage was divided into 4 sections .

The carriage which was carrying supplies and food . Then one to station soldiers of the order followed by The carriages of merchants carrying goods to be sold , And the final one for the VIPs and us .

The space for the VIPs was much more elegant and extravagant bearing the crest of the order .

The merchants , the workers , the soldiers were so distinctly different by their attire , their accent and even their expressions. The merchants changed their expressions which would fit them the best .

The soldiers would try to be on their guard every time.

While the labourers wipe the sweat off their body while finally finishing their hard work .

The caravan left the town bidding farewell to the one who remained behind . In that caravan we were placed in front of the main carriage .

McElroy and I had different shifts . While McElroy kept watch during the night I kept watch during the day and slept soundly on the roof of the carriage during the night .

The food was made by soldiers who served soup to everyone. The merchants , the soldiers and the labourers were already used to travelling .

But Nora was bought up from a noble household and couldn't handle the same meal everyday thus a cook made a separate meal for her and although unintended, a clear distinction was seen between her and others . Mild jealousy if you say .

After the meal McElroy yawned as he felt sleepy he was in the main carriage as the others had slept he dozed off even though it was his shift .

Thus 2 days passed and to arrive at the first checkpoint there was still a day to go .

As during the day I didn't have much to do I tried conversing .

Jay :

So Nora tell me why you are going to someplace dangerous .

Nora :

My assistance is needed there I can't just keep my chair warm every time without doing anything.

And I'm going there just to confirm that the island is safe and no demon can enter .

Jay : We'll know that you talk about it if all of the demons are on the island then how did they make their way here .

Nora :

You might have seen the secluded tribe of demons . They live in the wilderness and they rarely come out .

We don't attack them until and unless they attack .

There's a tale about it .

Once upon a time

The war for land was raging during this time . The demons were divided into tribes . Most under the demon lord while some secluded .

During these times were many inqusitions

These demons prayed to our Lord Luminos for his protection and a miracle happened as he sent his own daughter to protect them .

From then they have been protected under our banner .

Nora :

What about you why are you working for the guild when you're a buster .

Jay :

Being a buster is not as easy as it seems . To leave this world you first have to survive the trials .

Nora :

But when you can do anything why the guild .

Jay :

I felt that it would be the right thing to do

(akward smile )

What should I say her that my sources are responsible for my choices.

Well this the day ended . If X has done anything right is that there are no species of annoying bugs . Like mosquitos , thus it actually feels very relaxing to stare at the stars .

Even the stars feel like a glowing stream of light due to their arrangement .

And the sound of the waves of the water reverbrates in the ears is so satisfying.

...... Hmmm ? Waves ? This is a landlocked area where are the wave noises coming from .
